Wide Receiver. Jerry Jeudy. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 54. Alabama. 4

Current Pick: No. 21

The Eagles have every reason in the world to believe that both DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery will be healthy enough at some point to help Philadelphia’s offense bounce back in a strong way during the 2020 season, but they also need insurance.

Not to mention, there is going to come a point in which the Eagles’ offense will need to adjust to playing without Jackson and Jeffery since the veterans aren’t getting any younger, meaning the draft is the perfect opportunity to bring on new talent.

At the moment, Philadelphia currently holds the No. 21 pick in the first round, but any football fan that follows Howie Roseman knows this is a team capable of pulling off deals out of nowhere, so nothing should be ruled out for the draft.

Even if the Eagles are expected to be in great position to land someone late in the first round such as Tee Higgins or Justin Jefferson, they could still decide to pull the trigger by trading up for a better prospect.

That’s where Jerry Jeudy comes into play, as the Alabama product is expected to be selected in the top 15, and could be a great fit for Philadelphia’s offense since he wouldn’t face the pressure of having to be a top wideout right away.

From his impressive route-running skills to the 24 touchdown passes from the previous two seasons, if the Eagles pulled off a surprise trade to land Jeudy, it’s safe to say Philadelphia fans would be in love with this move.
