8. D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia

Arguably the top running back prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft class, D’Andre Swift has the potential to set the league on fire as a rookie. While he may not offer the best fantasy potential, the team that drafts him is likely getting their top runner for the next decade.

What truly makes Swift special is his ability to make defenders look silly. He boasts terrific elusiveness and uses elite vision to eat up big chunks of yards. In terms of sheer talent, nobody is going to question Swift. With that said, he wasn’t as productive in college as some of the other running backs on this list.

During his three seasons at Georgia, Swift totaled 2,885 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns while averaging 6.6 yards per carry. Although he was never an elite receiving option, he never struggled to make plays in the passing game. The stats were impressive, but we all know fantasy owners need more than just nice numbers.

With that said, Swift has too much pure talent to be ignored. More than likely, he won’t end up being the most productive fantasy RB to come out of the 2020 draft. And yet, there’s still a very good chance he helps owners win on a regular basis as a rookie.
