Seven teams made some kind of tweaks to their NFL uniforms in 2020 with three making full-on changes. Here we look at the next five that need to make a change.
With the Cleveland Browns releasing their new uniforms, we have now seen three teams with new NFL uniforms ahead of the 2020 season. In addition to the Browns return to their retro look, the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers debuted new uniforms as well.
There have also been some slight tweaks with the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers, and Indianapolis Colts all changing up their logos — and the New England Patriots are reportedly changing something minor on their uniform as well.
All that being said, we now look at what five teams should be next to make some kind of change to their current uniform.
Honorable Mention: Atlanta Falcons
Yes, the Atlanta Falcons did just change their uniforms but they completely dropped the ball. Not only did they botch their reveal, which led to them showing the jerseys a week earlier than anticipated, but they also made some very rough changes.
Their uniforms now resemble an XFL franchise more than an NFL team and they really were destroyed for creating a gradient red jersey that faded to black and was paired with black pants. It’s a combination that should never see the light of day.
The reaction to these uniforms has made it clear that they’re not going to be popular and the powers that be in “ATL” (as the jerseys say on the front) need to already be working behind the scenes to erase this mistake.
League rules will prevent them from changing right away but, as soon as they’re allowed to, they need to move on.
