Cleveland Browns: Mock draft for Days 2 and 3 after first round
By Dan Parzych
Finding the right talent this late in the draft can be difficult for any team, but as long as the Browns do their homework for the final day of action, Cleveland should be able to bring on a few potential steals.
Take a look at Leki Fotu for example, who appears to have the kind of upper-body strength, and pass-rushing technique to catch the attention of teams looking to add a defensive tackle to their unit on the final day of the draft.
As previously mentioned, despite all of the talk surrounding the Browns needing to step up on offense with Mayfield under center to emerge as a contender in the AFC, the defense arguably faces just as much pressure.
Between Lamar Jackson expected to be in for another big year on offense along with the Pittsburgh Steelers hoping to bounce back after a disappointing 2019 campaign, Cleveland’s defense will have their work cut out within the division.
A player like Fotu may not seem capable of making that much of a difference on the defensive side of the football, but for all the Browns know, this kind of move could end up having all sorts of potential, even if they were forced to be a little patient.
