Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Stanford. 23. CB. Paulson Adebo. player. 16

Now that a certain No. 12 is out of the AFC East, it appears as though the division is the Buffalo Bills’ for the taking. That, of course, depends on the continued progression and development of Josh Allen, especially after the front office used the team’s first-round pick in 2020 to trade for a proven wide receiver weapon in Stefon Diggs.

Questions about Allen aside, the Bills roster is clearly in great shape as a whole to compete. They have one of the more stout defensive rosters in the league, a good offensive line and a developing group on offense that has some upside.

If there’s one big weakness to highlight right now, however, it’s the No. 2 cornerback spot. Tre’Davious White is one of the best in the league at the position but the Bills are planning to rotate Josh Norman and Levi Wallace opposite him. Adding Paulson Adebo out of Stanford would make that no longer a concern.

Had he not elected to return to Palo Alto, Adebo could’ve been a first-round pick in 2020. He’s not the most physical defensive back you’ve ever seen but he has top-notch ability in coverage. With the speed and stickiness to man up with anyone, he and White would form a devastating duo in the Buffalo secondary.
