Final Record: 9-7

I know Buffalo Bills fans expect their record to improve following an offseason where they’ve added a tremendous amount of talent to the roster. Yet, the undeniable fact remains that this schedule is much more difficult than what the Bills had to face in 2019.

They need to travel to the West Coast four times, play several prime time games, and face elite quarterbacks like Wilson, Mahomes, and Roethlisberger.

I still believe the Bills are a playoff team and they could even win the division. However, barring a couple of upsets, I don’t see Buffalo improving on their 10-6 record from last season. Josh Allen will have a much better year statistically and the defense will remain a top-10 unit.

But for now, this Bills squad is a 9-7 team. They have a long way to go before they can challenge the likes of Kansas City and Baltimore, but they are certainly on the right path.

As a Bills fan myself, I am looking for improvement from Josh Allen this year more than anything else. If Allen can prove he’s a capable franchise quarterback that can carry the team on his back, I’ll accept a nine-win season so long as I am confident in the future.

Much remains uncertain between now and the start of the regular season, but at least Bills fans can finally go into a season with the expectation of a playoff berth. That alone is a welcome sight.
