2. Jack Doyle

Let the record show that if Minnesota were to land a talented tight end in Jack Doyle through a trade, Kyle Rudolph would be at no risk of losing his starting job on offense for the Vikings when seeing the impact he has been able to make over the years.

If anything, this would be a move in which the Vikings could benefit in a big way from having a new duo at the position consisting of Rudolph and Doyle like plenty of other teams across the league.

A move like this could result in Irv Smith Jr. being the odd-man-out of the No. 2 job at tight end for Minnesota, but also if Doyle put the offense in better shape, this is all that matters the most for the Vikings.

Doyle’s numbers may not stand out like some of the other tight ends across the league, but the fact that he is coming off another Pro Bowl season for the second time in three years shows what he can bring to the table.

With all of the money invested in Kirk Cousins on top of the fact that he no longer has Diggs to work with, Minnesota could benefit from another reliable target at tight end in Doyle if the opportunity were to present itself.
