3. Chris Lindstrom

To help provide better protection for Matt Ryan on offense, the Falcons decided to invest a first-round pick on Chris Lindstrom last season, although a foot injury resulted in the lineman playing in just five games as a rookie in 2019.

Since the verdict is still out over whether Atlanta made the right decision in Lindstrom, the chances of the team willing to give him up in a trade seem like a long shot at this point, which is also part of the reason why he is on this current list.

However, most players in the league have a certain asking price, and if there was some sort of chance over the Falcons being concerned over how Lindstrom will look moving forward after last season, the Jets could use this to their advantage.

Then again, Atlanta should at least feel good about the fact that Lindstrom was able to return before year’s end and start the final four games for the Falcons.

Similar to the situation with Ryan, New York realizes the importance of making sure Darnold has the proper protection, and while the Jets struck gold in the recent draft with Louisville’s Mekhi Becton, just imagine what the addition of Lindstrom could do as well to the unit.
