Buffalo Bills: Gabriel Davis, WR

For the Buffalo Bills, the plan this offseason was simple — get weapons for Josh Allen. The Bills third-year quarterback is coming off a 10-win campaign that ended with his team in the playoffs. Of course, the majority of the credit has been given to his defense as they were dominant whereas the offense was inconsistent, to say the least.

Those outside the organization place the blame for that inconsistency on Allen’s shoulders. Some of that is understandable considering his issues with accuracy, which have included struggles throwing the ball deep. Still, some of the problems with their offense centered around his teammates as the offense was without a legitimate No. 1 wide receiver.

For that reason, they went after someone who they felt could provide Allen with the help he needs to improve as they traded their first-round pick for Stefon Diggs. But Diggs isn’t the only weapon Buffalo added on that side of the ball as they also took Zack Moss, the Utah running back in the third round. Then in the fourth, they took UCF’s Gabriel Davis, who could end up being a solid addition for them.

Davis gives them something they desperately need — size. He came into the Scouting Combine at 6-foot-2 and 216-pounds and has a very large catch radius. His talent suggests he should have gone much higher in the draft than he did but due to the depth at the position, he stuck around until day three and Buffalo could have a steal on their hands here.
