5. Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue

You’ll start hearing the Tyreek Hill comparisons float around about Rondale Moore — for good reason. Moore is a dynamic playmaker with elite short-area quickness and quick twitch ability. His burst and acceleration are second to none, making him the ideal deep-threat. He’s likely ranked inside the top 25 prospects on early boards because of his dynamic skill set.

The Purdue X-Factor is dangerous, whether that’s at receiver or running back. As a freshman, he averaged 14.8 yards catch with 58 catches for 860 yards. He also racked up another 213 yards on the ground. Thus, the Hill comparisons make sense. Moore offers a combination of tenacity, versatility, elite speed and quickness desirable for any team.

The problem with Moore is durability. He missed the majority of 2019 season with an injury and he’s 5-9, 180 pounds. Sure, he’s able to slip press coverage with quickness and agility and he can destroy the defense on every level. He’s not the best during contested catches, likely due to his build.

Even with his flaws, the junior receiver has a unique skill-set. If Moore has any hope of becoming a first-round or second-round pick, he’ll need to put more on film, whether in spring 2021 or next fall.
