3. Bill Belichick keeps Belichick-ing

Ever since he took over in New England, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has found ways to find success and provide his team with the chance to put together strong regular seasons and postseason runs that has resulted in a historic amount of Super Bowl championships.

Although the 2020 season has been different and usual in many avenues, there is no reason to believe that won’t be the case once again and Belichick will continue to find ways to plug players into his system to continue the success of the New England organization.

For that reason alone and the mastermind that Belichick is and has become will mean New England will be competitive once again during the 2020 campaign and will ultimately be viewed as a team that could potentially make a deep run once again beyond the regular season.

During the offseason, the Patriots have dipped into free agency and other avenues to bring in talent, which is something Belichick has been able to do well throughout his time with the team. Most notably this offseason, Belichick went out and signed quarterback Cam Newton off the free agent market to now lead the New England offense in the post-Tom Brady era.

Now leading into the new year, it wouldn’t be surprising at all if Belichick would look to continue to add to the New England roster, whether that’s via the open market or the trade market, to help his team where it needs it most at the time.

There’s no reason to believe Belichick won’t keep Belichick-ing during the 2020 season and that is why the Patriots should always be viewed as a dangerous team to keep an eye on throughout the year and by the end of the regular season.
