Stud: D.K. Metcalf, WR

Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf thrived alongside Wilson. While Metcalf dropped a pass early, which is a problem he also faced as a rookie, the second-year receiver rebounded. He finished the game with four receptions on eight targets for 95 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Lockett caught all eight of his targets for 92 yards.

While Metcalf still has plenty of room for improvement, he could make the Pro Bowl this year. At 6-4, 229 lbs., the Ole Miss product is an incredible athlete. Metcalf’s size and 4.33 40-yard dash speed make him one of the most intriguing wide receiver prospects in the past decade.

So long as Metcalf continues expanding his game, the 22-year-old should become the best wide receiver Wilson has ever played with.

Dud: Will Dissly, TE

Dissly played a considerable role during his first two years with the Seahawks. In 2019, Dissly scored four touchdowns and averaged 43.7 receiving yards in his six appearances. Unfortunately, injuries haunt the young Washington product. He’s only played ten games over the past two years, and Seattle lists Greg Olsen ahead of Dissly on the depth chart.

In his first game after his second season-ending injury, Dissly made two catches for eight yards. He didn’t get many opportunities, but Dissly is capable of so much more than two measly receptions. The third-year tight end must earn the trust of his coaching staff again and challenge Olsen for snaps. Olsen finished Week 1 with four receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown.
