The Indianapolis Colts knew what they were getting in Philip Rivers, the quarterback. What they might have overlooked is what they were getting in Philip Rivers, the trash-talker.

Rivers was famous for the way he ran his mouth in San Diego (and Los Angeles) but he did so in a buique way. Unlike many players, Rivers doesn’t swear. And on Sunday, cameras caught him giving it to Roquan Smith of the Bears and Adam Weinrib of Horse Shoe Heroes loved every second of it. In fact, he has been loving everything Rivers has brought to Indy.

"“”Thus far, Rivers has been completely as advertised for the Colts, rocking with a tight pocket and projecting an excellent blend between a game manager and someone who can still make all the necessary throws with a top defense at his disposal. Oh, and he’s getting blocking up front like never before, and has a two-TE set that makes perfect sense even without Jack Doyle.”” — https://horseshoeheroes.com/2020/10/04/colts-philip-rivers-trash-talking-roquan-smith/"

At 3-1, the Colts are in great shape and general manager Chris Ballard has done a marvelous job building this team. Their offense managed only 19 points but the defense gave up just one touchdown and 11 points in all to Chicago. They’re right there in the AFC South and should be the toughest competition for the Titans this year.
