2. Antoine Winfield Jr., safety

Antoine Winfield Jr. has had an impressive start to his rookie season and this should continue on Thursday. Winfield who was named Defensive Rookie of the Month for September has made impactful plays in just about all of the team’s games.

Although he hasn’t had an interception as yet, this could be his game. Look for him to draw assignments of Chicago players out of the backfield and also more importantly receivers out of the slot.

The Chargers game was probably Winfield’s worst as a pro, but expect him to bounce back in this game. He has two sacks already and he may pick up another one in this game. He should be flying all over the field in this game as the offense will need a big game by the defense to help with their lack of depth.

1. Rob Gronkowski, tight end

Although Cameron Brate will most likely fill O.J. Howard’s role long-term, look for Rob Gronkowski to be counted on in this week’s game. With some many injuries at wide receiver and with Howard lost for the season, Tom Brady will need someone he can count on.

Expect Gronkowski to be the guy on Thursday even if it’s just more of a possession receiver role. He should be good for at least five to ten catches and he will be a focus in the red zone.
