The last two predictions deal with Alvin Kamara’s role and the final score.

The next prediction has to do with New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara.

Kamara has put together an impressive season already, totaling 557 all-purpose yards and seven total touchdowns. It’s akin to how Michael Thomas performed last year after signing his contract. It’s also worth noting Kamara is clearly benefitting with Thomas out. As for Week 5, I look for Kamara to have another impressive week but with a few things shifted.

Not only will he finish the week as the Saints’ leading rusher but also their leading receiver.

Kamara has been pulling double duty thus far this season and it doesn’t look to be ending anytime soon. If anything, it’s only going to increase with Thomas still out. It’s almost as if Kamara is trying to earn every penny of his contract. Nevertheless, Kamara is set to another big week, and with the extra rest due to it being a Monday night game, we could see him have an even better performance.

Either way, Kamara is going to have a big night against the Chargers.

The final prediction for the New Orleans Saints is that they’ll beat the Chargers by more than 10 points. Some of the recent Saints scores have been too close for comfort. The team really needs to get better at having a lead and keeping it. Most of that can be chalked up to mismanagement by the offense and defense.

The team shouldn’t keep making those mistakes, though, and Week 5 is a great starting point.

The only team the Saints have beat by more than 10 points this season is the Bucs. The Saints have all of the makings of a Super Bowl-caliber team and there’s no reason games should be so close. If anything, the Saints should be blowing teams out of the water. Thankfully, they should be getting Thomas back soon and things will start to return to normal.

The 2020 season has already been full of ups and downs so it’s finally time for the Saints to show us they’re worth the hype.
