2. DeMarcus Lawrence breaks out

Week 5 was big for DeMarcus Lawrence. After four games of hearing criticism for his lack of big plays, he finally had a huge one. In the second quarter with Dallas trailing 17-10, Lawrence came up with a sack on Daniel Jones — which was his first of the season.

Lawrence made sure this was a huge play as well, forcing the ball out of Jones’ hands on the way down. The fumble was scooped up by cornerback Anthony Brown who walked into the end zone for a 29-yard fumble return for a touchdown. That tied the game up for Dallas and could open the floodgates for Lawrence.

Since signing his massive five-year deal ahead of last season, D-Law hasn’t made a ton of noise. Sure, he holds up phenomenally against the run but edge rushers get paid to sack the quarterback and, heading into Week 5, he had just five since getting paid.

In this bold prediction, Lawrence uses that success as a springboard and finds a way to make a couple of splash plays. Look for No. 90 to sack Kyler Murray two times while also forcing another turnover. In doing so, he silences a lot of critics and gets himself back to the player we’re used to seeing.
