1. Low scoring game results in Patriots bouncing back

The final prediction that will come out of the game between the Patriots and 49ers on Sunday evening in Week 7 is the fact that it will be a low scoring contest, but will be one that New England will able to come out on top of.

In 2019, New England had one of the top defenses in the NFL and it has carried that over to 2020 to some extend through five games. The Patriots defensive unit has done more than enough to put this team in a position to win contests week-in and week-out, and there’s reason to believe that will once again occur this weekend.

On the other side of the ball, however, San Francisco will also be able to hold the Patriots in check for the most part. Which means this game will likely be a low scoring affair at Gillette Stadium.

In the end, New England will narrowly edge San Francisco on the Patriots’ home field in Foxborough and Cam Newton and company will see their two-game losing streak come to an end while jumping back to the .500 mark on the season.

New England will have to refocus quickly though, with a tough matchup on the road against the Buffalo Bills looming in the distance of Week 8 on Nov. 1 in Buffalo.
