Tampa Bay Buccaneers X-factor No. 2: Devin White, LB

Since he was drafted fifth overall in 2019, Devin White has been a staple in the Tampa Defense with an intimidating and physical approach that would impress Hall of Famer Derrick Brooks.

While White has a long way to go before he can consider wearing a golden jacket, he’s off to a good start this season. In his career, he has put up 103 tackles and 7.5 sacks, three of which came against the Raiders this season.

Given the fact that the Raiders chose defensive end Clelin Ferrell a pick before White was selected by Tampa Bay, it’s easy to see that White was looking to show the Silver and Black that they made a mistake in not selecting him.

White also had a decent game against the Giants with a sack. Given how the Saints pride themselves on protecting their quarterback, White will have to play at a peak if he wants to send a message to a division rival that has been at the top of the crop for a majority of the previous decade.

The Saints offense has always been their strength. Tampa Bay is known for its defense. One side has to give and, if White plays to his normally high standards, the Buccaneers should slow down the Big Easy attack and give the GOAT a chance to do what he does and leave Raymond James Stadium with a victory.
