Minnesota Vikings: 3 Bold predictions in Week 11 vs. Cowboys
3. Vikings will force Cowboys to throw the ball
Over the last few weeks, Minnesota’s defense has stepped up and has improved after a rough start to the 2020 season with a young group on that side of the ball. Most recently in the Week 10 win over Chicago on the road, the Vikings defense looked strong and they will aim to carry that over into Week 11 at home against the Cowboys this Sunday.

One thing the Vikings will try to do on Sunday evening against the Cowboys is they will force Dallas to throw the ball rather than run the ball on the ground throughout the game. In past seasons, the Cowboys featured Dak Prescott under center leading the passing game, but since he is out for the year with an injury, Dallas has turned to backup quarterback Andy Dalton to try and pick things up.
Over the last few weeks, Dalton has been dealing with some injury issues himself that had put the quarterback position into further question on America’s Team, but he appears to be returning to action in Week 11 against Minnesota after recovering from concussion symptoms.
In the contest, the Vikings will try and exploit Dalton and the passing game while focusing on Ezekiel Elliott and the solid Dallas running game to force the Cowboys to throw the ball.
If Minnesota is able to continue to play like it did in Week 10 and for the last few contests on the defensive side of the ball, the Vikings should be able to comfortably come away with another victory at home in Week 11.
