Green Bay Packers X-factor No. 2: Offensive Line

Yes, this obviously isn’t a single player but the offensive line for the Green Bay Packers is arguably the biggest X-factor in this Week 11 game against Indianapolis.

As stated above, the defense that the Pack O-line is facing is the real deal on the opposite side of the ball. Now, sometimes people say this about a defense that is particularly good in one facet of the game but non-existent in another. This is far from the case for the Colts. They’re prolific in every category.

In order to give Rodgers some time to throw or even handoff the ball, the offensive line needs to be able to prevent defensive tackle DeForest Buckner and linebacker Darius Leonard from disrupting plays, who are both the best in the business at doing so.

If the Packers can win in the trenches, they will be able to move the ball down the field regularly. Without the offensive line playing at anything short of an elite level against the Colts, this offense is in for a miserable affair on the road.
