DraftKings NFL picks, Week 14: Best DFS fantasy football values

Week 14 DraftKings NFL Values: Defense/Special Teams
Premium Tier ($4,000 and up): Shockingly, not a single defense/special teams unit is priced at $4,000 or above this week. We find this to be an egregious oversight, given the laughing stock that is the Philadelphia Eagles offense, who feature a rookie quarterback in his first NFL start against the team ranked first in the league at stifling opposing fantasy quarterbacks.
Mid-Tier Values ($3,500 to 3,900): For reasons above, we expect the New Orleans Saints (NO at PHI, $3,800) to be heavily owned, and rightfully so against a Philadelphia Eagles offense that has ranked in the bottom five in points allowed to opposing defenses. We also won’t shy away from the Kansas City Chiefs (KC at MIA, $3,500), who likewise face a rookie quarterback who has yet to prove himself at the NFL level.
Value Tier ($3,000 to $3,400): We’d rather pay up for the Saints or down for one of the defenses listed below, but there are a few units worth considering in this tier. In particular, we are fans of the matchups allotted to the Green Bay Packers (GB at DET, $3,300) and Seattle Seahawks (SEA vs. NYJ, $3,000); we are particularly fond of the latter.
Bargain Bin: Without a doubt, the Washington Football Team (WAS at SF, $2,800) will find its way into several of our lineups this week; the San Francisco 49ers have been one of the five worst offenses in terms of fantasy points coughed up to opposing defenses since the start of Week 10. We also have eyes on the Houston Texans (HOU at CHI, $2,600) and Dallas Cowboys (DAL at CIN, $2,400) if budget constraints require us to dig deeper into the Bargain Bin.
Best Buy: While we love the cant-miss prospects of the Saints, we feel nearly as confident in the Washington Football Team’s ferocious front seven against Nick Mullens and the 49ers. We’ll take the Football Team and the $1,000 savings, which we’ll use to upgrade our lineup elsewhere.
