Scouting Report. 46. OT. Northwestern. Rashawn Slater. 21. player. Pick Analysis

Philip Rivers is stepping away from the NFL and while he’s typically thought of as a member of the Chargers, he was a solid player this past season for the Indianapolis Colts. With him gone, there are some decisions for this team to be making and they could decide to bring Jacoby Brissett back and have him compete with Jacob Eason. They could also try and land someone such as Carson Wentz or Matt Stafford via trade.

Whatever they decide to do, they will have to address a huge hole on the offensive line as Anthony Castonzo elected to retire this offseason as well. With him out, the Colts add a replacement here as they select Rashawn Slater from Northwestern.

The 6-foot-4, 315-pound Slater played left tackle for the Wildcats and opted out of the 2020 season. Some believe a move inside would be best for him, but here Indy has plans for him to stay at his natural position.

35. Pick Analysis. 22. player. Joseph Ossai. Scouting Report. EDGE. Texas

Joseph Ossai is one of those players who could become a better pro than he was a collegiate player. While at Texas, he moved back and forth from the defensive end position to an outside linebacker role. However, he’s best fit as a stand-up pass rusher which is exactly what he can do for the Tennessee Titans.

Their defense took a step back in 2020 and adding another pass rusher is always a quick way to make things easier on everyone else on the defense.
