J.J. Watt trade landing spot No. 3: Green Bay Packers

The Packers’ defense has definitely rounded the corner and J.J. Watt would be a lot of fun to watch with the two Smiths (Preston Smith and Zadarius Smith). A big reason why Watt to Green Bay would make sense, however, is that Watt is from Wisconsin initially.

He played college ball at Wisconsin and is always boasting about his Badgers on social media. Playing for his hometown team would have to be a dream come true for anyone and better yet, the Packers are going to be the favorites to win the NFC North and make a run to the Super Bowl, making them even more appealing.

If Watt is wanting to join a team for sentimental reasons, the Packers would be at the top of his list. But, there’s still one team that has more sentiment than Green Bay, believe it or not.

J.J. Watt trade landing spot No. 2: Pittsburgh Steelers

Of all of the teams that Watt could potentially land with, one of the more fun ones would be with the Steelers for the simple fact that both of his brothers play in Pittsburgh. T.J. Watt is one of the best pass rushers in the league and Derek Watt isn’t as big of a name, but that’s because he’s a fullback.

How fun would it be to see all three Watt brothers in Steelers jerseys? J.J. and T.J. both starting on that already ferocious Steelers front could really deal opposing offenses fits and it’d make them an even tougher defense. The AFC North is one of the toughest divisions in the league and Watt joining the Steelers would make them the favorites to win it once again.

Three brothers playing for one team is a fun storyline and that’s why it’d be cool to see Watt land in the Steel City.
