2021 NFL free agency QB No. 3: Jacoby Brissett

There’s no stretch in saying that Jacoby Brissett is the most interesting quarterback on the 2021 NFL free agency market. After all, he led the Colts to a solid outing in the 2019 season but the organization determined that Indianapolis would be better off and have a better chance of winning in the playoffs with Philip Rivers.

Brissett is an athletic player who can use his mobility to his advantage but he has never wowed as a passer. He’s ultra conservative in his approach and, frankly, doesn’t have the upside to be a top-tier quarterback. However, as a game manager or backup, he could be a nice signing.

2021 NFL free agency QB No. 2: Jameis Winston

Jameis Winston became the first quarterback in NFL history with a 30-touchdown/30-interception season in 2019 with the Buccaneers. So when Tampa let him walk, it wasn’t all that surprising. But him signing with the New Orleans Saints seemingly set him up for success as he could work under Sean Payton and Drew Brees.

The snaps for Winston were scarce last season, even with Brees going down. However, the former No. 1 overall pick did flash some big moments and could be worth a gamble from another team. Of course, all signs point to the Saints trying to bring him back to possibly supplant Brees.

2021 NFL free agency QB No. 1: Dak Prescott

As of right now, Dak Prescott is still set to hit the 2021 NFL free agency market as, despite the fact that it should’ve been done at numerous points over the past few years, the Dallas Cowboys have yet to sign him to a long-term contract. That means that, in theory, one of the better quarterbacks in the entire league could be available this offseason.

In all likelihood, Prescott will either sign a long-term contract with the Cowboys or be hit with the franchise tag for the second-straight year. It would be arguably the biggest shock of the offseason if he leaves Dallas. But if he is somehow made available as a free agent, expect an all-out frenzy to try and ink him to a deal.
