New York Jets 7-round mock draft: Zach Wilson takes over Gang Green
By Edward Rollo
A former 5-star recruit, Dylan Moses would be a great addition to a weak linebacker group. He is both athletic and agile and is talented both on the strong side and weak side in Saleh’s 4-3 defense — perfect for depth and for Saleh to develop and work his magic on him as a prospect.
His hit power is ridiculously good and he is great one-on-one with ball carriers. This could be a great pick up for the Jets as they near the end of their draft.
Again, another versatile player who can play multiple roles in the Jets defense. Joshuah Bledsoe is predominantly a safety but can also play in the slot and the nickel. He has added great plays to the tape as a hybrid safety and is also good in the run game. The ability to work in multiple locations on the field means the New York Jets scoop him up in the fifth round.
With their final pick, the Jets select a slot receiver who could put pressure on Keenan Cole, especially as the future of Jamison Crowder is in doubt.
Anthony Schwartz is quick and his track athlete history allows him to beat the man when going deep. He’s not a finished product with his route-running but the physical potential makes him a nice value pickup.
