Packers Day 2 WR target No. 4: Dyami Brown, North Carolina

Full disclosure, the buzz that has gathered around Dyami Brown over the last few months is likely to push Dyami Brown out of range for Green Bay with their second-round pick at No. 62. But then again, we know that wide receiver is a position that’s difficult to project in the draft and what range these players will fall. So it’s at least a possibility that he could be there.

If so, Gutekunst and the front office should be gung-ho in trying to bring the North Carolina product to Titletown. Brown starred in two seasons playing with likely 2022 first-round pick Sam Howell in the Tar Heels offense, showcasing his big-play ability with two 1,000-yard seasons and 20 total touchdowns while averaging over 20.0 yards per reception.

The 6-0.5, 189-pound Brown has fine speed for the position but his ability to explode off the line makes him dangerous as he registered a 1.57-second 10-yard split in the 40. Moreover, he’s crafty to get his matchup on their heels as he’s been successful with double moves.

Weaknesses aren’t non-existent as he needs to work on his issue with drops and he should be less pushy at the catch-point to avoid penalties. But for the Packers looking for a versatile big-play threat to complement Adams, Brown checks all the boxes.
