Packers Day 2 WR target No. 3: Amari Rodgers, Clemson

Anyone who has been watching Trevor Lawrence star at Clemson over the past three seasons has undoubtedly heard the name Amari Rodgers and seen him make some nice plays. The 5-9.5, 21-pound wide receiver really came on this past season, though, when the Tigers were quietly hurting for depth at the position and he became a go-to target.

Rodgers led the ACC in receptions with 77, taking those grabs for 1,020 yards and seven touchdowns, both of which were career-highs at Clemson. His ability to manipulate defenders with smart feet and moves on top of decent-enough athleticism and strength makes him a dynamic threat out of the slot.

Unlike many players on this list, Rodgers may not offer much in the way of speed as he isn’t a true downfield threat. Yet, the Packers could still utilize Marquez Valdes-Scantling in that role while allowing Rodgers to move in the short and intermediate areas of the field away from Adams, thus opening up the field further for everyone.

When you factor in his NFL-ready frame and his progression throughout college, Rodgers could be a major addition for the Green Bay offense.
