Final 2021 NFL Mock Draft: Ravens at No. 31 are another risk-taker

31. Baltimore Ravens (via KC): Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia

This pick coming to the Ravens by way of the aforementioned Orlando Brown trade has really left me quite confused as to what to do. The reason for that is the two best fits for what Baltimore needs to address with top-end talent both have recently arriving injury concerns that are causing them to slip.

The first of those players is Terrace Marshall Jr. The LSU wide receiver would be a perfect fit for what the Ravens need to help open up the passing game for Lamar Jackson. He’s the perfect blend of size, athleticism and technical ability that would allow him to be a go-to target. But an injury red flag means I’m not touching him in the first round.

I do think, however, they’d take the risk on Azeez Ojulari. Full disclosure, this is a hunch on my part. Ojulari, as also mentioned before, has a knee issue that has teams really worried about his long-term future. Having said that, his versatility and play-style off the edge would be perfect for the blitz-happy Ravens defense.

Obviously they’d have to be confident that he can at least play out his rookie contract but, if they are, Ojulari would be worth the pick here to fill a glaring hole on defense in Baltimore.

Who I Would Pick: Azeez Ojulari
