NFL: Creating the all-time roster with football’s legends: HC, Bill Belichick

Accolades:

  • 17 divisional titles
  • 10 Super Bowl appearances
  • 6 Super Bowl titles

To the chagrin of Tom Brady, Bill Belichick will be our head coach for the all-time team. The two enjoyed a harmonious relationship for roughly two decades with the New England Patriots before it all fell apart.

Regardless of that, their success was simply too great to keep the two away from each other for long.

Belichick has had an incredible amount of success and longevity. The former headman of the Cleveland Browns dusted away that awful experience and put together one of the most miraculous runs by a head coach. All together, Belichick has 17 division titles, nine Super Bowl appearances, six titles, and has outsmarted some of the game’s greatest coaches.

Granted, Belichick’s seemingly impregnable reputation took a big hit this past season after failing to make the playoffs in his first season in New England without Brady. In addition to that, Belichick was a failure in Cleveland and was never considered amongst the game’s greats until Tom Brady came to town. Still, Belichick’s greatness should not and will not be questioned.
