13. Simi Fehoko, WR

This pick was a bit of a surprise but that doesn’t mean it was bad, by any means. At No. 179 overall in the fifth round, Dallas took a flier on Simi Fehoko from Stanford who is an imposing figure at wide receiver.

Fehoko stands in at 6-4 and 222 pounds looks the part of an NFL wide receiver. What’s even more impressive, however, is the way he can get down the field in a hurry.

During his time at Stanford, he had 1,146 yards on 68 receptions which was an average of 18.5 yards per catch. In 2019, he was good for 23.6 yards per catch and six scores while he went for a 40-yard-plus gain in eight of his 15 games from 2019 through 2020 which is an insane statistic.

Having said all that, Fehoko is a player who might not see the field much at all as a rookie. Currently, Dallas has Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, CeeDee Lamb, Cedrick Wilson, and Noah Brown at wide receiver.

Fehoko has a long road ahead of him when it comes to cracking the roster but three of the aforementioned players are on the final year of their deals. That means this could be a much more important add down the line but right now, the payoff feels like it’s far in the future.
