29. Green Bay Packers: Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M

If it wasn’t for playing an unprioritized position, Kenyon Green would go much higher in this mock draft. However, interior offensive linemen always get pushed down the board, but Green might have an avenue to boost his stock. This season, Green will be playing tackle for the Aggies, and if he succeeds, he may see the same boost Alijah Vera-Tucker saw this past season.

Regardless, the Green Bay Packers look to continue to get younger along the interior of their offensive line, adding Josh Myers to the mix with Elgton Jenkins. Looking to upgrade Lucas Patrick and Jon Runyan, the Packers land Green here to give Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Love, or whomever their quarterback will be by then some added protection.

30. Buffalo Bills: Brandon Joseph, S, Northwestern

Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer have been quite the duo for the Buffalo Bills over the past few years, but that time may be coming to a close. As the Bills added talent to the front of their defense, they upgrade the back here and look towards the future at the safety position. With the 30th overall pick in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, the Bills select Brandon Joseph of Northwestern.

Quietly, Northwestern had one of the very best secondaries in all of the country a year ago. This led to Greg Newsome II becoming a first round pick, and now they may have another. Joseph was an All-American as just a redshirt freshman, registering six interceptions, two passes defended, and even racked up a tackle behind the line of scrimmage.

Another season with elite ball production and Joseph looks to lock in as a first rounder.
