Tennessee Titans cornerback Kristian Fulton (26) pulls in a catch during practice at Saint Thomas Sports Park Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020 Nashville, Tenn.Nas Titans Practice 0903 007 /

Tennessee Titans: Kristian Fulton, Cornerback

All eyes will be on the Tennessee Titans offense this season. There’s no reason for that not to be the case after they traded for Julio Jones, which gives them an insane trio of offensive superstars. Starting opposite Jones in the receiving corps is A.J. Brown who had his second-straight 1,000-yard season for Tennessee in 2020 — which was just his second season in the NFL.

The third member of the trifecta is running back Derrick Henry, who is making a strong case for being the best in the NFL at his position. Henry ran for 1,540 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2019 which made him the league’s leading rusher. His last season was even better as he again won the rushing title, this time with 2,027 yards and 17 touchdowns.

While everyone will expect big things from them, the Titans defense needs to improve if they hope to take the next step in 2021. One player who can really help in that regard is cornerback Kristian Fulton, a second-round pick last year out of LSU.

Fulton struggled early during his rookie campaign and played in just six games before suffering a knee injury that landed him on the injured reserve. This season, there will be a lot put on his shoulders now that Adoree’ Jackson and Malcolm Butler are gone.

The second-year cornerback has the athletic ability and the talent. If he puts it all together and gets used to the speed of the NFL game, he should become a great player for the Tennessee secondary to build around.
