One bold prediction for the Buffalo Bills in 2021-22: There is no reign of AFC East terror

My have times changed. At one point, the New England Patriots were always the mega favorites to win the AFC East. It didn’t matter who the Miami Dolphins, New York Jets or in this case, the Buffalo Bills, trotted out, the Patriots were always at a major advantage. Now, with Josh Allen and the Bills taking home the division crown this past season, many are expecting them to have a stranglehold over the division.

Welp, we’re sorry to break to Bills fans, but that simply isn’t going to happen.

The Bills have a stacked roster, there’s no denying that. Allen is becoming one of the best quarterbacks in the league, Stefon Diggs has a reasonable claim as the best receiver in the league and Cole Beasley has always been reliable in the slot. With that said, everyone else around them has made significant upgrades as well.

For starters, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will be more comfortable in year two. Also, they gave him a few new weapons, most notably, wide receiver Jaylen Waddle.

The Patriots didn’t sit on their hands either as they brought in a boatload of high-quality players such as tight end Jonnu Smith, tight end Hunter Henry, inside linebacker Matt Judon and defensive end Henry Anderson. Even the Jets have given themselves a puncher’s chance with the addition of rookie quarterback Zach Wilson.

With all of the moves, the Bills will find the AFC East a much more difficult division to navigate and in our opinion, don’t expect them to win it this year.
