On a team that has Lamar Jackson, Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, and a load of defensive playmakers, go figure that their all-world kicker, Justin Tucker, emerges from NFL Week 3 as one of the biggest storylines of the week. Of course, all of the attention is well-deserved.

After Jackson converted a fourth-and-19 and then continued the drive to about midfield, that lined up a last-second 66-yard field goal attempt for Tucker to get the win for the Ravens and also set the NFL record by two yards. He drilled it right down the middle and it had just enough leg to hit the metal and then propel forward for the winning three points.

Jackson wasn’t at his best in this game as the Lions gave Baltimore more problems than most people would’ve imagined coming into the game. The quarterback completed just 16-of-31 passes and, though he had 58 yards rushing, never really got loose with his legs.

But the mark of a good team is pulling out wins when you don’t necessarily have everything working and, in a letdown spot after beating the Chiefs last week, the Ravens pulled through and got a big win to move to 2-0 on the year.
