NFL: Ranking every quarterback midseason: 1. Tom Brady – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

How? Just, how? How is Tom Brady still dominating the league at 44 years old? This is not possible in any sport, let alone the sport that’s sole purpose is to slam you into the ground at mostly cold temperatures. Yet, here we are, with Tom Brady still one of the very best in the league.

Brady has been awesome this year from start to finish. While he took a little time to build chemistry last season, there were no such issues this year. Listen to his on-pace numbers over a 17-game season:

Yards-5,525 (would be an NFL record)
Touchdowns-51 (second all-time)
Touchdown to interception rate: 7.00 (tied for tenth all-time)

His numbers are on a record-breaking pace, and there’s nothing that seems to be slowing him down. It seems like his arm strength got better in the offseason. Mike Evans, Antonio Brown, and Chris Godwin are all dominating on the field. When Rob Gronkowski is healthy, he’s getting his own slice of the pie, as well. The Bucs running game has been inconsistent, and Ronald Jones has been straight terrible, but Brady is still taking this offense to new heights. Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback in the NFL now like he was in 2007. What a world.
