Dallas Cowboys dud: Trevon Diggs

This season has been a breakout one for Trevon Diggs as he has seven interceptions and two touchdowns on the season. However, he’s had no picks the past two weeks following a streak of six games in a row. Even worse, he was constantly picked on this week by Teddy Bridgewater and it turned ugly for Dallas.

Tim Patrick was able to beat Diggs several times including once for a long touchdown. Diggs was also called for a couple of costly penalties which extended drives and put Dallas in a hole.

The good news is, this is a young man with a short memory so it won’t hurt his confidence next week against Atlanta. But it was still a rough outing where he stood out for all the wrong reasons.

Dallas Cowboys stud: Micah Parsons

Micah Parsons has been on fire this season.

The Cowboys’ first-round pick continues to exceed expectations and was one of the few bright spots on defense this weekend. He was second on the team with 10 tackles and led them with 2.5 sacks.

That gives the rookie 52 tackles and five sacks on the season as he has not only been the one racking up all the tackles but he’s also tied with Randy Gregory for the lead in sacks.

In a game with very few studs, Parsons stood out as one of the best players on the field.
