David Ojabo was injured at his Pro Day which leads to him falling to the Dallas Cowboys while his teammate, Aidan Hutchinson, goes first overall in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft
One of the worst things that can happen to an incoming NFL player is to suffer an injury right before the draft. This just happened to Michigan’s David Ojabo, who went down with an injury and limped off the field during his pro day.
It’s a frustrating thing for a player who inserted himself into the top-15 conversation following a great final season with the Wolverines and an explosive showing at the NFL Combine. However, in this three-round 2022 NFL Mock Draft, he doesn’t fall all the way out of Round 1 as one team in need of a dangerous pass rusher is willing to take a flier on him even if he misses time.
As for his teammate, Aidan Hutchinson, he ends up going first overall as the Jacksonville Jaguars decide to beef up the defensive line.
Aidan Hutchinson goes first in 2022 NFL Mock Draft
1. Jacksonville Jaguars: Aidan Hutchinson, EDGE, Michigan
The Jacksonville Jaguars beefed up their offensive line with the signing of Brandon Scherff in free agency. He’s a guard and doesn’t solve their need for a tackle but with them making the investment there, it’s possible they shift their attention with the first pick in this draft.
That’s how it ends up working out as they do take Aidan Hutchinson first overall. Hutchinson is one of the more well-rounded players and while he doesn’t have as high of a ceiling as Kayvon Thibodeaux, he does have a higher floor — and the Jags need guys they can count on.
2. Detroit Lions: Kayvon Thibodeaux, EDGE, Oregon
Aidan Hutchinson feels like the better fit for the Detroit Lions and in many mocks, he stays in-state and joins the Lions. However, he goes first here and Detroit ends up with Kayvon Thibodeaux from Oregon.
There are questions about his love for the game but if Dan Campbell believes his heart is in it, this could end up being a great addition as they could wind up with the most explosive defensive player in this draft. It will all come down to how teams view his drive and all we can do is guess until draft night.

3. Houston Texans: Ikem Ekwonu, OT, NC State
The Houston Texans held onto Deshaun Watson for a long time and in the end, they got what they wanted for him. Cleveland surrendered three picks in the first round as the Texans now have a ton of draft capital to work with.
As for their own selection in this mock, they start things off with Ikem Ekwonu who will be their new franchise left tackle. Ekwonu has become the No. 1 offensive tackle in this class and there’s still a shot he could go first overall. However, with Aidan Hutchinson taking that honor here, Ekwonu ends up going third.
4. New York Jets: Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame
It’s hard to find any player that’s more well-rounded in this draft than Kyle Hamilton from Notre Dame. He simply can do it all as he’s a capable safety in deep coverage, in the box, and can line up in the slot. It also wouldn’t be a shock to see him move into a bit of a hybrid linebacker role from time to time.
Here, he lands at No. 4 as the New York Jets bring him in to be the centerpiece of Robert Saleh’s defense. It’s not often a safety goes this high but Hamilton is well worth the hype and will be an impact player from day one.

5. New York Giants: Evan Neal, OT, Alabama
With the first of two picks they own in the top-10, the New York Giants select Evan Neal from Alabama. They were fortunate to see Andrew Thomas turn things around last season following a slow start to his career but with Nate Solder on the way out, they need another starting tackle.
Neal is a massive player at 6-foot-7 and 337-pounds but he’s still very athletic. He can play on the left side but has the power to switch to the right — unless they believe Thomas is a better fit there. Whatever they decide, New York will be much better on the offensive line with Neal added to the mix.
6. Carolina Panthers: Malik Willis, QB, Liberty
The Carolina Panthers were one of the teams that fell short of landing Deshaun Watson, who eventually joined the Cleveland Browns. That means they still have Sam Darnold as their projected starter as of now — and after his performance in 2021, it’s safe to assume they would like to seek an upgrade.
They land that at No. 6 as they bring in Malik Willis from Liberty. Willis is a dual-threat that could really carve up defenses with his legs but also has the ability to air it out deep. He needs to refine some of his skills but overall, this is the best quarterback prospect in this class and he should do fine in Carolina.

7. New York Giants (via Chicago Bears): Travon Walker, EDGE, Georgia
Last season, the New York Giants moved down in the draft as they traded with the Chicago Bears — who ended up taking Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields. Thanks to this trade, New York now owns the No. 7 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and they use that on Travon Walker from Georgia.
Walker is listed at 6-foot-5 and 272-pounds and still ran a 4.51 in the 40-yard dash at the Scouting Combine. His freakish athleticism is enough to put him into the top-10 and he feels like a prospect who will be an even better pro than he was a collegiate player.
8. Atlanta Falcons: Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State
Speaking of teams that missed out on Deshaun Watson, the Atlanta Falcons were sure they had him but in the 11th hour, things fell apart. Now, they have to try and figure out what to do going forward and part of that plan will include replacing Calvin Ridley, who was suspended for the 2022 season.
Atlanta does land a solid replacement here as they pick up Garrett Wilson from Ohio State with the eighth pick. This class is absolutely loaded at the position and while it’s hard to figure out who will end up being the first taken, Wilson could wind up being that guy.
He does everything well and can stretch the defense with his speed. Atlanta is in desperate need of wideout help and he should be an immediate impact player.

9. Seattle Seahawks (via Denver Broncos): Ahmad Gardner, CB, Cincinnati
The Seattle Seahawks traded away Russell Wilson and that landed them the no. 9 overall pick in this draft — ironically enough, putting them one pick ahead of the New York Jets who own Seattle’s selection thanks to the Jamal Adams trade.
Seattle uses this pick on Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner, who is an absolute stud at cornerback. The Cincinnati defensive back never allowed a touchdown as he helped his team advance to the College Football Playoffs in his final season.
Last season, Seattle lost Shaquille Griffin and now, they replace him with someone who has an even higher ceiling.
10. New York Jets (via Seattle Seahawks): Derek Stingley, CB, LSU
Last season, the New York Jets had two picks in Round 1 and used them on offensive players. They took Zach Wilson second overall then later grabbed offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker. This season, they again have two picks as they took Kyle Hamilton already at No. 4 and are back on the clock at No. 10.
Now, they make it back-to-back defenders in this draft as they select LSU cornerback Derek Stingley. After a great start to his career with the Tigers, Stingley had a drop in production but is still one of the better corner prospects in this class and should help Hamilton shore up this secondary.

11. Washington Commanders: Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama
Alabama wideout Jameson Williams left Ohio State University to look for more snaps with the Crimson Tide and it worked perfectly for him. Not only did he have a huge season in 2021 but he had a shot at surpassing both Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave in the draft despite being behind them with the Buckeyes.
However, a torn ACL suffered in the NCAA Championship Game hurt his stock as Williams enters the NFL coming off a serious injury. He should be healthy though during his rookie season and while he’s passed by Garrett Wilson in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, he still goes early as the Washington Commanders bring him in at No. 11.
Washington has been linked to quarterbacks prior but after landing Carson Wentz, they go with a wideout to pair with Terry McLaurin.
12. Minnesota Vikings: Jermaine Johnson, EDGE, Florida State
Reports have surfaced that the Minnesota Vikings could be interested in moving Danielle Hunter eventually, and even before that, it seemed as though they needed to add help at defensive end. They land a potential starter here at No. 12 as they take Florida State EDGE Jermaine Johnson.
He went from Community College to the University of Georgia before finally landing with the Seminoles this past season. He had a massive campaign and it’s enough to push him into the top-15 here.

Houston Texans replace Deshaun Watson in 2022 NFL Mock Draft
13. Houston Texans (via Cleveland Browns): Kenny Pickett, QB, Pitt
In their trade that sent Deshaun Watson to the Cleveland Browns, the Houston Texans elected not to try and pry Baker Mayfield from Watson’s new club. They seem willing to let Davis Mills try and prove he’s the guy but they have to be wondering in private if this is the right move.
Instead of just hoping for him to develop, they use the first of three picks in Round 1 they obtained from the Browns to bring in Kenny Pickett from Pitt. There were concerns about Pickett’s hand size and how he would do playing in the NFL and staying in cold weather — yes he played at Pitt but the ball is a bit smaller in the NCAA.
In Houston, he won’t have to worry about that as he will play at least nine games in a dome and another in Jacksonville and Nashville each. He could find success with the Texans, especially if they hit on the remaining picks they got in this trade.
14. Baltimore Ravens: Trevor Penning, OT, Northern Iowa
Lamar Jackson was just one of many Baltimore Ravens to suffer an injury last season but his was the most impactful. In an effort to keep him healthy, the Ravens bring in Trevor Penning from Northern Iowa.
He could replace Alejandro Villanueva as the starting right tackle but also has the tools to play on the left side if Ronnie Stanley continues to have issues staying on the field.

15. Philadelphia Eagles (via Miami Dolphins): George Karlaftis, DE, Purdue
The Philadelphia Eagles appear willing to let Derek Barnett leave in free agency which means they need a new defensive end. Thankfully for them, a really impressive one falls to them in this mock draft.
George Karlaftis of Purdue is being hailed as the best power rusher in this class. He boasts an NFL-ready body at 6-foot-4 and 266-pounds and showed impressive movement in the combine as well. What will really help him stand out with the Eagles fans is his high motor. This is a blue-collar player who never quits and plays with infectious energy.
16. Philadelphia Eagles (via Indianapolis Colts): Drake London, WR, USC
Philadelphia stole this pick from the Indianapolis Colts. The Eagles sent Carson Wentz to Indy where he was reunited with Frank Reich but it was just a one-season reunion. While the numbers weren’t bad for Wentz, he didn’t make plays at the right time and is already gone — and will face the Eagles twice per season as he landed with the Washington Commanders.
Even though they moved on after 17 games, Philadelphia still gets the first-round pick and they use it to land Drake London from USC. A 6-foot-4 wideout who has a basketball background, London is an intriguing prospect who topped 1,000-yards in just eight games last season.
London is coming off a broken ankle but as long as he’s healthy, he could be one of the best rookies in the NFL this coming season.

17. Los Angeles Chargers: Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia
So far, the Los Angeles Chargers are having a great offseason. They added defensive end Khalil Mack in a trade with Chicago then signed cornerback J.C. Jackson away from the New England Patriots. On top of that, they retained wideout Mike Williams, who was quarterback Justin Herbert’s favorite target a season ago.
The good moves keep pouring in for the Chargers as they add Nakobe Dean at No. 17 in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft. Dean was a stud for the Georgia Bulldogs who made one great play after another. He took advantage of so much attention being paid to the players around him and with Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack playing in front of him in L.A., more of the same should be expected.
18. New Orleans Saints: Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State
It seemed as though Deshaun Watson could have been heading to the New Orleans Saints but then he ended up choosing the Cleveland Browns. The good news for New Orleans is that he didn’t choose the Atlanta Falcons of Carolina Panthers. Also, they could still turn to Jameis Winston who was winning for them in 2021 before tearing his ACL.
Looking forward to 2022, they could improve their chances by adding another wideout to pair with Michael Thomas — who should be back to full health this season. They do that by selecting Chris Olave, who played for their favorite school — Ohio State.
Olave is a speedster who can take advantage of the attention Thomas gets but is more than just a deep threat. He could end up being the best No. 2 receiver they have had in several years.

19. Philadelphia Eagles: Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia
For the third time in Round 1, the Philadelphia Eagles are on the clock, and again, they add some power to the defensive line. This time, they go with the best defensive tackle in the class as they grab Jordan Davis out of Georgia.
A massive player at 6-foot-6 and 341-pounds, Davis is a run-stuffer like no one else. The Eagles recently released Fletcher Cox only to re-sign him to a one-year deal and now he can work alongside Davis to give the Eagles a great interior line.
They can also help one another out with Davis having conditioning concerns that can limit his snaps and Cox being closer to the end of his career than the beginning.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Kenyon Green, OG, Texas A&M
Mitchell Trubisky appears to be the next in line to start at quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and it really isn’t a bad move for them. Trubisky has been a winner for the majority of his NFL career and while he has his issues, he again finds himself surrounded by a lot of talent.
What could help him though is an improved offensive line. Here, the Steelers work on that as they add Kenyon Green from Texas A&M. Green played both guard and tackle for the Aggies but is expected to start at guard in the NFL.
For Pittsburgh, he could help Trubsiky keep the interior pass rush away while also proving to be a factor in opening holes for running back Najee Harris.

21. New England Patriots: Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson
Once again, the New England Patriots allowed their top defensive back to leave in free agency as J.C. Jackson went and signed with the Los Angeles Chargers. The Pats clearly believe in their ability to develop players at the position, and they’ve been right more times than not.
Still, they need to find someone who can start in 2022 — and as long as Mac Jones is the quarterback, chances remain high that this will be a team that tries to win with a controlled offense and strong defense. They continue to work on building that defense up with the selection of Andrew Booth, Jr. from Clemson. He should be able to start from day one and could be the next great New England cornerback.
22. Green Bay Packers (via Las Vegas Raiders): Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas
In a surprising move, the Green Bay Packers sent Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders and landed a first and second-round pick in return. Now with the first pick they received in that trade, the Packers land a replacement for Adams in Treylon Burks from Arkansas.
Burks is a big-bodied receiver at 6-foot-2 and 225-pounds and despite a less-than-perfect Combine, he’s still a player who should be taken in Round 1. In Green Bay, he will have to take on a huge role right away, unless they still find a way to land someone in free agency that is.

Cardinals and Cowboys land steals in 2022 NFL Mock Draft
23. Arizona Cardinals: Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State
At pick No. 23, the Arizona Cardinals decide to take Charles Cross from Mississippi State. They could use a pass-rusher and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them target one at this spot but Cross is a legit left tackle and it’s rare to see one with as much talent as he has slide to pick 23.
During the offseason, Arizona had some issues come up with starting quarterback Kyler Murray. One way to help mitigate those concerns going forward would be to prove they’re serious about building around him and a potential franchise left tackle does exactly that.
24. Dallas Cowboys: David Ojabo, EDGE, Michigan
One of the rising stars in this draft suffered a terrible injury as David Ojabo tore his Achilles during Michigan’s pro day. With the news that he could be out for six months or longer, some teams might be afraid to use a first-round pick on him, instead going with a player they think can be nearly as productive without missing any time.
As for the Dallas Cowboys, they can afford to take a bit of a risk on Ojabo. Currently, they have DeMarcus Lawrence, Dorance Armstrong, and Dante Fowler at defensive end. Lawrence is a Pro Bowler whereas Armstrong is coming off his best season as a pro and Fowler has shown flashes in the past.
That means the three of them could share the load until Ojabo is 100 percent, and once he’s up to speed, they could have a dangerous starting duo with him and Lawrence.

25. Buffalo Bills: Devonte Wyatt, DT, Georgia
Von Miller recently signed with the Buffalo Bills, which greatly improves their pass rush. Here, they go after another stud for their front-seven as they add Devonte Wyatt from Georgia. Wyatt was overshadowed by Jordan Davis at times with the Bulldogs but he can develop into just as dangerous of a player.
Wyatt also showed during the Scouting Combine that he’s a very athletic player — especially when considering he’s over 300-pounds. Going after a cornerback could also make sense here for the Bills but either way, it seems like they’re going to be focusing on stopping the opposing quarterback.
26. Tennessee Titans: Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss
Ryan Tannehill has had a lot of success as the starter for the Tennessee Titans but he still isn’t exactly lighting the world on fire. In 2021, he had 3,734 yards with 21 touchdowns and 14 picks in 17 games. They won 12 of those games but then he really struggled in the postseason.
Tannehill and the Titans were one and done in each of the past two seasons and this year, he had three picks and only one touchdown in their defeat. With all that being said, Tennessee uses their first-round pick on Matt Corral.
The Ole Miss product could push Tannehill, who will be 34-years-old this season, and eventually, take over under center.

27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Cameron Thomas, EDGE, San Diego State
Once again, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are contenders in the NFC. Just weeks after announcing his retirement, Tom Brady decided he wasn’t ready to hang up his cleats and he will return for a third season in Tampa.
They also got Chris Godwin back on a contract extension, meaning their offense is intact still. On defense, they need to continue to bring in younger talent, and here, they do that with Cameron Thomas. He can pair with 2021 first-round pick Joe Tryon as the edge rushers of the future.
Thomas also has enough versatility to slide inside on third-down plays and rush from a defensive tackle position.
28. Green Bay Packers: Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah
Earlier in this mock, the Green Bay Packers finally got a wide receiver for Aaron Rodgers as they took Treylon Burks from Arkansas with one of the picks they got from Las Vegas in the Davante Adams trade. Now, they’re back on the clock with their own selection and decide to add a playmaker to the defensive side of the ball.
Devin Lloyd is the pick as they bring in a linebacker capable of making plays from one sideline to the other. Green Bay has tried to fill this spot with veterans recently, giving Christian Kirksey and Jaylon Smith a shot but in the end, it might be best to go for youth.

29. Miami Dolphins (via San Francisco 49ers): Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa
Mike McDaniel is looking to put his stamp on the Miami Dolphins as he’s already added an underrated receiver in Cedrick Wilson and two capable running backs in Raheem Mostert and Chase Edmonds. Now in this mock draft, he starts to patch up the offensive line.
Michael Deiter was one of the lowest graded starting centers in the NFL last season which leads to Miami bringing in Tyler Linderbaum from Iowa. Easily the best center in this class, Linderbaum is praised for his toughness as well as his football intelligence.
He not only improves the center position but helps the entire line with his ability to read a defense and make adjustments pre-snap.
30. Kansas City Chiefs: Jahan Dotson, WR, Penn State
The Kansas City Chiefs offense already got a bit of a boost when they added JuJu Smith-Schuster in free agency. However, they thought the same thing when they added Sammy Watkins and while he helped, he was never as good as they hoped.
In this mock, they decide to cover all bases as they also bring in Jahan Dotson in the first round. Last season, there were times the offense went flat, and adding two wideouts who can make plays — especially Dotson who can get downfield in a hurry — should help alleviate those concerns.

31. Cincinnati Bengals: DeMarvin Leal, EDGE, Texas A&M
The Cincinnati Bengals were a block away from potentially winning the Super Bowl — and they have already started to work on fixing that line. By making moves in free agency, they’ve freed themselves up to go after the best player available in the draft, which happens to be DeMarvin Leal in this mock.
Leal’s star has lost some shine in part due to his fit in the NFL not being truly identified. He’s a 290-pound defensive end who has also played inside. With Cincy, he could end up doing both as he helps replace Larry Ogunjobi and give them a player who can also play on the edge with a lot of power.
32. Detroit Lions (via Los Angeles Rams): Desmond Ridder, QB, Cincinnati
There have been suggestions that the Detroit Lions want to continue to give Jared Goff an opportunity to run their team. However, they could still look for an upgrade if someone becomes available, and that’s what happens here with Desmond Ridder lasting until the end of Round 1.
Ridder has been a solid prospect for a while and he really threw the ball well and even turned in a strong 40-yard dash at the Scouting Combine. He has a lot of tools that teams look for and could be groomed to be the No. 1 guy down the road.

2022 NFL mock draft: Second round
33. Jacksonville Jaguars: Zion Nelson, OT, Miami
After going edge early, the Jaguars now add depth to the offensive line with Zion Nelson from Miami.
34. Detroit Lions: Daxton Hill, S, Michigan
Two picks after taking Desmond Ridder, the Lions go back to the other side of the ball for Daxton Hill. A versatile weapon, Hill could greatly improve this secondary.
35. New York Jets Travis Jones, DT, Uconn
Travis Jones is a fringe Round 1 player and the Jets add him to their front line with the 35th pick in this mock — continuing their rebuild of the defense that started with their first two picks.
36. New York Giants: Trent McDuffie, CB, Washington
Trent McDuffie is a great player but he’s also been praised as another coach on the field. His addition to the Giants secondary will be huge.
37. Houston Texans: Logan Hall, EDGE, Houston
Houston is in the midst of a major rebuild and adding pieces everywhere will be important. Here, they add a talented defensive end in Logan Hall, who can play on the edge as well.
38. New York Jets (via Carolina Panthers): George Pickens, WR, Georgia
There were some steps made by New York receivers last season, especially Elijah Moore. However, they can still use playmakers and George Pickens can be that.
39. Chicago Bears: Roger McCreary, CB, Auburn
The Chicago Bears’ first pick comes in Round 2 and they decide to go for Roger McCreary out of Auburn. A great athlete who can play both inside and out, McCreary could be a mainstay in the Chicago secondary.
40. Seattle Seahawks (via Denver Broncos): Sam Howell, QB, North Carolina
Drew Lock will get a shot with the Seahawks but they could also look for a rookie. Sam Howell could be a solid fit after he raised his stock in offseason workouts.

41. Seattle Seahawks: Breece Hall, RB, Iowa State
Our first running back comes off the board as the Seattle Seahawks bring in Breece Hall. This is a team that loves their running backs and they could be looking for a new feature in the run game — something Hall is capable of being.
42. Indianapolis Colts (via Washington Commanders): Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida
Kaiir Elam has a father and uncle who played in the NFL and now it’s his turn. He joins the Colts here, giving them some much-needed depth in the secondary.
43. Atlanta Falcons: Daniel Faalele, OT, Minnesota
Daniel Faalele is a huge man at 6-foot-8 and 384-pounds. There will be questions on whether or not he’s too big to deal with leverage issues trying to block opposing edge rushers but he’s got enough talent for someone to roll the dice.
44. Cleveland Browns: John Metchie, WR, Alabama
After trading away three Round 1 picks for Deshaun Watson, the Cleveland Browns will need to make sure they hit on their Round 2 selections. History is on their side as current GM Andrew Berry has landed Grant Delpit and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah in his first two seasons. Now, he adds John Metchie who is a perfect complement to Amari Cooper — and suddenly this offense looks dangerous.
45. Baltimore Ravens: Boye Mafe, EDGE, Minnesota
Some have Boye Mafe as a first-round defensive end and it wouldn’t be too surprising to see that happen. The Ravens land him in this mock and he could be a perfect fit in their scheme.
46. Minnesota Vikings: Jaquan Brisker, S, Penn State
Harrison Smith gets a teammate who could eventually take his job as the new staff adds Jaquan Brisker from Penn State.
47. Indianapolis Colts: Carson Strong, QB, Nevada
The Colts need to keep looking for quarterbacks after giving up on Carson Wentz and they bring in Carson Strong from Nevada to compete.
48. Los Angeles Chargers: Kenneth Walker III, RB, Michigan State
Austin Ekeler is a great fit in the Chargers’ offense but they could use another back to help share some of the tough yardage. Enter Kenneth Walker III from Michigan State who could help this offense become even more balanced.

49. New Orleans Saints: Kyler Gordon, CB, Washington
Another position where the New Orleans Saints need help is cornerback and they add that with Kyler Gordon at pick 49. This draft nets them both a No. 2 receiver and a No. 2 cornerback which is huge for them.
50. Miami Dolphins: Phidarian Mathis, DT, Alabama
The interior of the Miami Dolphins defensive line could use some beef and they get that with Phidarian Mathis from Alabama. It’s hard to go wrong with Crimson Tide defensive linemen.
51. Philadelphia Eagles: Jamaree Salyer, IOL, Georgia
Jamaree Salyer is a powerful guard who should be able to carve out a starting role in the NFL quickly.
52. Pittsburgh Steelers: Tariq Woolen, CB, UTSA
One of the fastest 40-times in a while was turned in by Tariq Woolen who ran a 4.26. He also has great size at 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, making him a great addition for the Steelers.
53. Green Bay Packers (via Las Vegas Raiders): Arnold Ebiketie, EDGE, Penn State
One of the pass rushers who should be getting more attention is Arnold Ebiketie from Penn State. He finds a solid home here in Green Bay as he replaces Za’Darius Smith.
54. New England Patriots: Lewis Cine, S, Georgia
Georgia defenders are going to dominate the early part of the 2022 NFL Draft and Lewis Cine becomes another one in this mock as he joins the Patriots at pick 54.
55. Arizona Cardinals: Kingsley Enagbare, EDGE, South Carolina
Arizona needed an edge rusher and they might have found something in Kingsley Enagbare from South Carolina.
56. Dallas Cowboys: Sean Rhyan, IOL, UCLA
Dallas needs help on the offensive line after moving on from Connor Williams and La’el Collins. Terence Steele might be their future at right tackle but Sean Rhyan could bring competition. He could also take over at left guard due to his versatility. Either way, they land a potential starter here.

57. Buffalo Bills: Alontae Taylor, CB, Tennessee
Now the Buffalo Bills add their cornerback, taking Alontae Taylor from Tennessee.
58. Atlanta Falcons (via Tennessee Titans): Drake Jackson, EDGE, USC
Drake Jackson has a lot of tools to be special. The Atlanta Falcons will see if they can get that out of him.
59. Green Bay Packers: Bernhard Raimann, OT, Central Michigan
A bookend for Aaron Rodgers, Bernhard Raimann is a big and powerful man who should have a home at right tackle in the NFL.
60. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Darian Kinnard, OT, Kentucky
With Alex Cappa leaving Tampa for Cincy, the Bucs bring in Darian Kinnard. He’s a massive tackle from Kentucky who will likely move inside to guard.
61. San Francisco 49ers: Perrion Winfrey, DT, Oklahoma
D.J. Jones bolted for Denver which means the 49ers need more depth on the interior of their line. They get that with Oklahoma’s Perrion Winfrey.
62. Kansas City Chiefs: Chad Muma, LB, Wyoming
With Anthony Hutchins out, the Chiefs add Chad Muma to be their new linebacker.
63. Cincinnati Bengals: Tyler Smith, IOL, Tulsa
After going for DeMarvin Leal in Round 1, the Bengals add more depth to their revamped offensive line. Here they take Tyler Smith from Tulsa who is projected to play guard but has experience at tackle as well.
64. Denver Broncos (via Los Angeles Rams): Nik Bonitto, EDGE, Oklahoma
Randy Gregory was a huge addition but he and Bradley Chubb both have had issues playing full seasons. That’s why Denver adds Nik Bonitto as an insurance piece.

65. Jacksonville Jaguars: Trey McBride, TE, Colorado State
Round 3 gets kicked off with the Jaguars bringing in Colorado State tight end Trey McBride. This class is far from elite at the position but McBride could be a solid find for a team that could use a safety valve for Trevor Lawrence to go along with Evan Engram.
66. Detroit Lions: Skyy Moore, WR, Western Michigan
Detroit still needs wide receiver help and they use this deep class to find a potential steal at 66 in Skyy Moore. The Western Michigan product catches everything that gets in range and really did well in the combine.
67. New York Giants: Jordan Battle, S, Alabama
Jabrill Peppers is still a free agent so the Giants bring in Jordan Battle in the third round. A standout player for Alabama, Battle could develop into a starter down the road.
68. Houston Texans: James Cook, RB, Georgia
Dalvin Cook’s younger brother, James Cook, gets a shot in the NFL with the Houston Texans. The team is a mess but he could get a lot of snaps there because of it.
69. New York Jets: Josh Paschal, EDGE, Kentucky
David Bell had a less than ideal showing at the Scouting Combine.
70. Jacksonville Jaguars (via Carolina Panthers): Jalen Pitre, S, Baylor
One of the better safety prospects in this class, Jalen Pitre finds his NFL home in Jacksonville.
71. Chicago Bears: David Bell, WR, Purdue
David Bell had a less than ideal showing at the Scouting Combine but still did enough at Purdue to land in Round 3. The Bears are thin at the position and he could come in and get a shot early.
72. Seattle Seahawks: Tyreke Smith, EDGE, Ohio State
Seattle looks to Ohio State to add Tyreke Smith to their defensive line. They like to rotate their pass rushers and Smith could be a decent player off the bench.

2022 NFL mock draft: Picks 73-80
73. Indianapolis Colts (via Washington Commanders): Jeremy Ruckert, TE, Ohio State
Jeremy Ruckert played for an Ohio State team that had a ton of weapons around him, which limited his opportunities. He could end up being a much better player in the pros, which is why the Colts are willing to bring him in at this point.
74. Atlanta Falcons: Jerome Ford, RB, Cincinnati
Cordarrelle Patterson just agreed to a two-year deal and will likely remain at running back for the Atlanta Falcons. Adding Jerome Ford, however, gives them another player capable of helping the offense churn yards on the ground.
75. Denver Broncos: Jaxson Kirkland, OT, Washington
Denver has been linked to just about every free agent offensive tackle, so it only makes sense that they pick one up here. Jaxson Kirkland fell off from earlier predictions where he was a Round 2 target but he could still develop into a starter.
76. Baltimore Ravens: Martin Emerson, CB, Mississippi State
Baltimore continues to add to their solid defense as they bring in Martin Emerson, a 6-foot-2 cornerback from Ole Miss.
77. Minnesota Vikings: Damone Clark, LB, LSU
Damone Clark was a tackling machine at LSU and even racked up 5.5 sacks this past season. He could be Minnesota’s new Anthony Barr.
78. Cleveland Browns: Zachary Carter, IDL, Florida
Cleveland needs to address the interior of their line and while Taven Bryan was a decent signing, they could use more depth. Enter Zachary Carter, who can also play on the edge during running situations.
79. Los Angeles Chargers: Brandon Joseph, S, Northwestern
The Chargers revamped secondary — led by J.C. Jackson — adds Brandon Joseph. An underrated player, Joseph should find a nice role in Brandon Staley’s defense.
80. Houston Texans (via New Orleans Saints): Christian Harris, LB, Alabama
Christian Harris joins the Houston Texans here as another Alabama linebacker makes it to the NFL. It’s a mixed bag with their linebackers but Harris seems to have the tools to be a solid contributor.

2022 NFL mock draft: Picks 81-88
81. New York Giants (via Miami Dolphins): Jalen Wydermyer, TE, Texas A&M
Evan Engram bolted from the New York Giants, who replace him here with Jalen Wydermyer. He was at one point the top tight end prospect on many boards but has fallen back some. Still, he’s a solid prospect who can play in-line and do damage in the passing game.
82. Indianapolis Colts: Rasheed Walker, OT, Penn State
Rasheed Walker is another offensive lineman that could be added on day three and wind up as a starter in the NFL. The Colts add him here as a developmental player to groom.
83. Philadelphia Eagles: Greg Dulcich, TE, UCLA
Zach Ertz was traded to the Cardinals last season and now the Eagles bring in Greg Dulich to be the No. 2 tight end behind Dallas Goedert.
84. Pittsburgh Steelers: Myjai Sanders, EDGE, Cincinnati
Something was up with Myjai Sanders who lost a ton of weight after the Senior Bowl and wound up being the lightest edge rusher ever at the Scouting Combine. He lands with the Steelers here as they hope to have him work with strength and conditioning coaches to build mass and unlock his potential.
85. New England Patriots: Nicholas Petit-Frere, OT, Ohio State
Ohio State offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere lands with the Patriots which means he will probably end up being a dominant starter one day.
86. Las Vegas Raiders: Marcus Jones, CB, Houston
They need more than this to rebuild their secondary but Marcus Jones is a nice addition for Las Vegas.
87. Arizona Cardinals: Christian Watson, WR, North Dakota State
Christian Watson had a great performance in the Scouting Combine and jumps into Round 3, where the Arizona Cardinals bring him in to replace Christian Kirk.
88. Dallas Cowboys: Darrian Beavers, LB, Cincinnati
Leighton Vander Esch returned on a one-year deal but he’s likely not in the future beyond that for Dallas. Here, they bring in a potential replacement in Darrian Beavers from Cincinnati.

2022 NFL mock draft: Picks 89-95
89. Buffalo Bills: Isaiah Likely, TE, Coastal Carolina
Dawson Knox has turned into a passing threat for the Buffalo Bills and now they add Isaiah Likely who could end up being a great second-string tight end in this offense.
90. Tennessee Titans: Mario Goodrich, CB, Clemson
A former team captain, Mario Goodrich improved every season for Clemson and lands with the Titans. His high football IQ and the solid coaching in Tennessee should be a good combination.
91. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Derion Kendrick, CB, Georgia
Carlton Davis stayed in Tampa Bay but they still need more depth. Derion Kendrick did well in a stacked Georgia defense and will be given a shot to prove he can keep it up in the NFL.
92. Green Bay Packers: Jalen Tolbert, WR, South Alabama
Green Bay needs to make up for a lot of production with Davante Adams going to Las Vegas, which is why they grab another wideout here in Jalen Tolbert from South Alabama.
93. San Francisco 49ers: Cam Taylor-Britt, CB, Nebraska
Cam Taylor-Brit stands in at 5-foot-11 and 196-pounds and ran a 4.38 in the 40-yard dash. He ends up with San Francisco, giving them an experienced player who was a former team captain as well.
94. Kansas City Chiefs: Matthew Butler, DT, Tennessee
Matthew Butler joins the Chiefs at No. 94 as they continue to add pieces to their defense, which is undergoing another re-tooling.
95. Cincinnati Bengals: Kyren Williams, RB, Notre Dame
Cincinnati likes to use their second running back often and Samaje Perine did fine in the role but Kyren Williams from Notre Dame could be an upgrade behind Joe Mixon.

2022 NFL mock draft: Final picks of round 3
96. Denver Broncos (via Los Angeles Rams): Cade Otton, TE, Washington
The Denver Broncos kick off the comp picks as they bring in Cade Otton from Washington at No. 96. Noah Fant was part of the deal to land Russell Wilson, and they replace his spot on the roster with former Husky.
97. Detroit Lions: Dylan Parham, IOL, Memphis
Dylan Parham came in at 6-foot-3 and 311-pounds, which is good since he was listed under 300-pounds at one point. He has a ton of experience at guard and is technically sound as well.
98. New Orleans Saints: Wan’Dale Robinson, WR, Kentucky
Another receiver for the Saints as they can’t pass on the upside of Wan’Dale Robinson. After this mock, they no longer have to feel as though this is a position of weakness.
99. Cleveland Browns: Sam Williams, EDGE, Ole Miss
Cleveland needs to rebuild their defensive end corps and while Chase Winovich is a solid addition, adding Sam William sat pick No. 99 would also be a good move.
100. Baltimore Ravens: JoJo Domann, LB, Nebraska
JoJo Domann was all over the field for Nebraska and joins a very talented Baltimore defense at pick No. 100.
101. New Orleans Saints: Deangelo Malone, EDGE, Western Kentucky
Deangelo Malone from Western Kentucky sneaks into the end of Round 3 as he joins the New Orleans Saints with one of their comp picks.
102. Miami Dolphins (via San Francisco 49ers): Brian Asamoah, LB, Oklahoma
Another linebacker comes off the board as the Miami Dolphins beef up their defense.
103. Kansas City Chiefs: Ed Ingram, IOL, LSU
Ed Ingram joins the Chiefs as they add a talented guard to their ranks.
104. Los Angeles Rams: Abraham Lucas, OT, Washington State
Andrew Whitworth retired after the Super Bowl win and the Rams bring in Abraham Lucas as a player to compete for a spot at tackle as they look to replace the veteran.
105. San Francisco 49ers: Calvin Austin III, WR, Memphis
San Francisco has done great work bringing in wide receivers who can do plenty of damage in spurts, which is what they get here in Calvin Austin from Memphis.
