For the time being, the San Francisco 49ers still have arguably the best supporting cast for a quarterback in the NFL.

If I were to extend the criteria for this, you could include arguably the best coaching staff in the league as well as maybe the best left tackle in the league.

Just looking at skill position players, this 49ers group is dynamic and Shanahan knows how to use them.

This group is a major reason why a team with Jimmy Garoppolo at the QB position was able to make it all the way to the Super Bowl two years ago and all the way to the final four this past season.

Deebo Samuel doesn’t want to play in San Fran anymore, but he may not have a choice in 2022.

Brandon Aiyuk has really come into his own and Jauan Jennings emerged last season as a viable secondary threat for Jimmy Garoppolo.

George Kittle remains one of the best tight ends in the game and Kyle Juszczyk is one of the most versatile chess pieces in the NFL today.

Whoever is under center for San Francisco, at least as long as Deebo is in the picture, has an elite situation to work with.
