The NFL International Series continues at midseason for both the Denver Broncos and Jacksonville Jaguars. The former has not played an international game since all the way back in the 2010 season while the latter have become sort of the resident NFL team of London. This game features two teams vying for their respective division titles in the AFC with Halloween on deck. Which team could emerge victorious at Wembley Stadium during Week 8 of the 2022 NFL season?

The Denver Broncos got off to a rocky start in the 2022 season with new head coach Nathaniel Hackett and star quarterback Russell Wilson. The Jaguars quickly became one of the NFL world’s favorite teams to watch thanks to the emergence early on of Trevor Lawrence and new head coach Doug Pederson. How will things shake out between these two teams in London with Bye Weeks on deck?

How many hoops can the NFL make you jump through to watch your favorite teams play? They have seemingly found an endless amount of them in 2022. At different times during the 2022 NFL season, if you are trying to watch games on TV or streaming, you might need to watch on Amazon Prime, ESPN+, NFL Network, NFL Sunday Ticket. You can’t fault the league for finding many different ways to make money, but the experience for fans has gotten a bit complicated.

This game, in particular, is unique as it will be broadcast exclusively on ESPN+.

Broncos vs. Jaguars preview and predictions

As the game gets closer, we will do a more in-depth preview between these two teams. Early on in the season, however (when this post is being written), the Broncos and Jaguars look much, much different than they did a year ago in some ways, and in others, they look very similar.

The Broncos are still struggling on offense despite the addition of Russell Wilson at quarterback, while their defense is still stellar. The Jaguars are still led by Trevor Lawrence at the QB position but the offense is finally starting to show its big potential.

The Jaguars’ key offseason additions defensively — first-round picks Travon Walker and Devin Lloyd — have been huge for their defensive resurgence in Duval County. Although there is respect due to the 2017 team that made it to the AFC Championship, this is probably the best Jaguars team that the overseas fan base will have seen in person.
