Scouting Report. WR. Quentin Johnston. player. 52. Pick Analysis. TCU. 18

18. Jacksonville Jaguars: Quentin Johnston, WR, TCU

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been a surprise through the first four weeks of the season. Trevor Lawrence looks vastly improved with Urban Meyer out as Doug Pederson clearly has a better understanding of how to run an NFL team. They could get even better with more weapons being out there for Lawrence, which is why they take Quentin Johnson from TCU at No. 19.

Johnson is a big target at 6-foot-4 and 215-pounds. He would give them more height than they currently have out wide and on top of that, he’s a problem with the ball in his hands. Not only is he much faster than he looks but he’s also tough to bring down.

19. player. Pick Analysis. Northwestern. Brandon Joseph. Scouting Report. S. 36

19. Seattle Seahawks (via Denver Broncos): Brandon Joseph, S, Notre Dame

They landed a new quarterback earlier in this mock and now the Seahawks are back on the clock with the selection they stole from the Broncos in exchange for Russell Wilson. This pick will likely go even higher if Russ continues to cook up the losses for Denver, but since this mock is based on the Power Rankings before they laid a touchdown-less egg against Indy, the ‘Hawks are on the clock at 19.

Here, they end up with Brandon Joseph from Notre Dame, after he transferred from Northwestern. He won’t wow anyone with his athleticism but he has a great football mind and plays well in coverage. He’s the type of player that can keep the Seattle secondary on the same page as they look to rebuild that unit.
