5 teams that are already in trouble after Week 2 of the 2023 NFL season
TEAM #5: CINCINNATI BENGALS
The Bengals have made the playoffs, and the AFC Championship, the last two years. They started the 2023 season losing both games to AFC North rivals which already puts them at a disadvantage. Joe Burrow failed to throw a touchdown until Week 2 and currently has a QBR of 47.2. That places Burrow at #22 out of the starting quarterbacks in the NFL.

TEAM #3: DENVER BRONCOS
Payton, was glowing about Russell Wilson in the offseason, already has some critiques for his quarterback after the two losses. Payton spoke to the press after blowing a 21-3 lead on the Washington Commanders and retorted that Wilson needed to get the play out quicker and may have to wear a wristband.
The Broncos losses should be taken with a grain of salt however as Wilson does look sharper than he did in 2022. Additionally, their loss to the Las Vegas Raiders was decided by a single point and the Commanders was by two. Statistically Wilson is operating at a high level. After two games Wilson has scored five touchdowns and threw a single interception with a QBR of 61.5.

TEAM #2: LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
Staley has presumably been on the hot seat (as far as the sports media world is concerned) after their catastrophic loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the playoffs last season. Staley even appeared to be irritated with the media after his playoff loss in 2022 was mentioned after the loss to the Titans.

TEAM #1: CHICAGO BEARS
After two games Fields has two touchdowns, three interceptions, and a QBR of 22.2. A quarterback ranking that poor has Fields ranked 31 out of all the quarterbacks in the NFL. Two of those interceptions resulted in defensive touchdowns, aka “pick sixes.” The MVP conversation should be already done when it comes to Justin Fields.
