There is a ton that could happen in the 2025 NFL Draft. Could we see a whopping four quarterbacks going in the first round? The weaker QB class could make things quite interesting when the draft rolls around in about a month.

In 2024, six quarterbacks went in the first 12 picks, and they were all legitimate first-round prospects. However, the 2025 NFL Draft may only have two first-round caliber QBs. I do believe we could see some desperate teams take a QB in the first round that might come as a shock.

Let's roll out yet another NFL mock draft as the 2025 NFL Draft creeps closer.

2025 NFL Mock Draft: 4 quarterbacks go in Round 1 of this three-round mock

Round 1

1. Tennessee Titans - Cam Ward, QB, Miami (FL)

4. New England Patriots - Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
5. Jacksonville Jaguars - Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
6. Las Vegas Raiders - Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

13. Miami Dolphins - Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
14. Indianapolis Colts - Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
15. Atlanta Falcons - Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
16. Arizona Cardinals - Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia
17. Cincinnati Bengals - Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
18. Seattle Seahawks - Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
20. Denver Broncos - Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
21. Pittsburgh Steelers - Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss
22. Los Angeles Chargers - Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
23. Green Bay Packers - Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
24. Minnesota Vikings - Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
25. Houston Texans - Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

27. Baltimore Ravens - James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee
28. Detroit Lions - Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
29. Washington Commanders - Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina
30. Buffalo Bills - Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
31. Kansas City Chiefs - Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
32. Philadelphia Eagles - Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State

It should come as no surprise that the Tennessee Titans and New York Giants took Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders in this NFL mock draft, but we see the Pittsburgh Steelers using pick 21 on Jaxson Dart, and the Los Angeles Rams using pick 26 on Jalen Milroe. Both QBs would enter into situations where they would not have to start immediately.

This could give them a perfect chance to develop and takeover as the long-term starter in a future season. There is most definitely a path for four quarterbacks to hear their names called in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Round 2

33. Cleveland Browns - Grey Zabel, OG, North Dakota State
34. New York Giants - Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss
35. Tennessee Titans - Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina

45. Indianapolis Colts - Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota
46. Atlanta Falcons - Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss
47. Arizona Cardinals - Josh Conerly Jr, OT, Oregon
48. Miami Dolphins - Cameron Williams, OT, Texas
49. Cincinnati Bengals - Carson Schwesinger, LB, UCLA
50. Seattle Seahawks - Jonah Savaiinaea, OT, Arizona
51. Denver Broncos - TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State
52. Seattle Seahawks - Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss
53. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Landon Jackson, EDGE, Arkansas
54. Green Bay Packers - Deone Walker, DT, Kentucky

59. Baltimore Ravens - Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas
60. Detroit Lions - Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford
61. Washington Commanders - Princely Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss
62. Buffalo Bills - Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky
63. Kansas City Chiefs - Tate Ratledge, OG, Georgia
64. Philadelphia Eagles - Darius Alexander, DT, Toledo

There was a run on running backs here in the second round of our latest NFL mock draft. We saw Omarion Hampton, Kaleb Johnson, Quinshon Judkins, and TreVeyon Henderson all off the board by pick 51. It's easy to see why four RBs went in the second round - Ashton Jeanty is the clear-cut best RB in the 2025 NFL Draft and is an easy first-round pick, but the value that can be had at RB in the second round is too hard for some teams to pass up.

Henderson going to the Denver Broncos at pick 51 is a perfect fit for both player and offensive system. Let's get into the third and final round of this mock draft.

Round 3

65. New York Giants - Mason Taylor, TE, LSU
66. Kansas City Chiefs - Gunnar Helm, TE, Texas
67. Cleveland Browns - Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami (FL)

68. Las Vegas Raiders - TJ Sanders, DT, South Carolina
69. New England Patriots - Emery Jones, OT, LSU
70. Jacksonville Jaguars - Jaylin Noel, WR, Iowa State
71. New Orleans Saints - Jayden Higgins, WR, Iowa State
72. Chicago Bears - Xavier Restrepo, WR, Miami (FL)
73. New York Jets - Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas
74. Carolina Panthers - Bradyn Swinson, EDGE, LSU
75. San Francisco 49ers - Darien Porter, CB, Iowa State
76. Dallas Cowboys - DJ Giddens, RB, Kansas State
77. New England Patriots - Jared Wilson, OC, Georgia
78. Arizona Cardinals - Alfred Collins, DT, Texas
79. Houston Texans - Hollin Pierce, OT, Rutgers
80. Indianapolis Colts - Andrew Mukuba, S, Texas
81. Cincinnati Bengals - Kyle Kennard, EDGE, South Carolina
82. Seattle Seahawks - Kevin Winston Jr, S, Penn State
83. Pittsburgh Steelers - Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State
84. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Chris Paul Jr, LB, Ole Miss

89. Houston Texans - Shemar Turner, DT, Texas A&M
90. Los Angeles Rams - Lathan Ransom, S Ohio State
91. Baltimore Ravens - Dylan Fairchild, OG, Georgia
92. Seattle Seahawks - Jared Ivey, EDGE, Ole Miss
93. New Orleans Saints - Ashton Gillotte, EDGE, Louisville
94. Cleveland Browns - Cameron Skattebo, RB, Arizona State
95. Kansas City Chiefs - Dorian Strong, CB, Virginia Tech
96. Philadelphia Eagles - Tez Johnson, WR, Oregon
97. Minnesota Vikings - Josaiah Stewart, EDGE, Michigan
98. Miami Dolphins - Jordan Burch, EDGE, Oregon
99. New York Giants - Ajani Cornelius, OT, Oregon
100. San Francisco 49ers - Terrance Ferguson, TE, Oregon
101. Los Angeles Rams - Zy Alexander, CB, LSU
102. Detroit Lions - Joshua Farmer, DT, Florida State

The third round saw a run of tight ends at the very top, as Mason Taylor, Gunnar Helm, and Elijah Arroyo are seen going at picks 65, 66, and 67. We also saw Texas QB Quinn Ewers heading to the New York Jets at pick 73, which could be an interesting fit. The Jets signed Justin Fields in free agency to be their starter, but Fields is not a franchise quarterback, and at the first sign of struggle, you have to wonder if Jets fans would be clamoring for Ewers.

A ton of Oregon prospects went at the bottom of the round. All of Tez Johnson, Jordan Burch, Ajani Cornelius, and Terrance Ferguson heard their names called at the bottom of the round.

When you look at the 2025 NFL Draft, it's clear that positions like running back, tight end, and EDGE are all pretty stacked, and the best value for these three positions could be in the second and third rounds.
