The 2025 NFL Draft is not until next April, but that isn't going to stop us from rolling out our latest mock draft which has some total drama near the top. As we hit Week 7 of the 2024 NFL Season, it's clear that there are a good bit of teams who could target a QB in the first round.
However, overall, this coming NFL Draft class does not seem to be nearly as talented at the top as the 2024 NFL Draft class was. There don't seem to be a ton of first-round picks, so it'll be interesting to see how teams navigate the 2025 NFL Draft when it rolls around. Since the NFL is and always will be a QB-first league, we can expect those positions to fly off the board when next April arrives.
Let's get into our latest NFL mock draft.
2025 NFL Mock Draft: Full first-round mock draft with drama at the top
1. New England Patriots - Will Campbell, OT, LSU
The New England Patriots are a total mess, and this team desperately needs some help along the offensive line. Will Campbell is a tackle from LSU but may actually shift to the inside at the NFL level. Well, in this mock draft, the Patriots bank on Campbell being able to play LT at the next level and take him with the first overall pick.
Frankly, the Patriots need this pick. This team is a flat-out mess with their offensive personnel and need to do everything in their power to develop rookie QB Drake Maye, who held his own in his first NFL start.
2. Cleveland Browns - Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
At pick two, the Cleveland Browns do something baffling and take Tetairoa McMillian from Arizona. He may end up being the first WR taken in the 2025 NFL Draft, but everyone would have expected them to take a QB here, right? Well, the team has not benched Deshaun Watson, which is odd. It makes me think that someone who is higher than the GM in that organization is forcing them to keep Watson in the lineup, so why would they take a QB in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft? I mean, I think the argument is there.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars - Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
It’s shocking to see how bad the Jacksonville Jaguars are this year, but here we are. They’re 1-5 on the season and face the New England Patriots on Sunday in London. This game may end up having some huge implications for the 2025 NFL Draft. In my opinion, on paper, the Jaguars have a solid roster, but they could stand to benefit from rebuilding their secondary an adding some talent to their offensive line.
There seems to be more CB talent at the top of the 2025 NFL Draft than along the offensive line, so at pick no. 3, the Jaguars take Will Johnson, who is perhaps the best CB in the country. The Jags also seem to be set to move on from head coach Doug Pederson at some point. It feels like the team has quit on this coaching staff, so that could also mean GM Trent Baalke is on his way out the door as well.
The Jaguars need to rebuild a few positions on their roster, but I don’t think this team is too far away from competing.
4. Carolina Panthers - Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
The Carolina Panthers must take a first-round QB and must end the Bryce Young experiment. He was benched after just two games in the 2024 NFL Season, and backup QB Andy Dalton has helped bring some life into this offense.
It’s clear that Dalton is an upgrade over Bryce Young, which says a lot about Bryce Young. For as controversial as Shedeur Sanders and the Colorado football program is, Sanders is a very good college QB. He’s excellent from within the pocket, which is one of the best traits that a college QB can have coming into the league.
The Panthers and head coach Dave Canales need to prioritize the QB position in a big way when the 2025 NFL Draft rolls around, and in this mock draft, they take Shedeur Sanders and make him the first QB off the board.
5. Los Angeles Rams, Cam Ward, QB, Miami (FL)
The Los Angeles Rams make a huge choice to signal the end of the Matthew Stafford era. Stafford would be in his age-37 season in the 2025 NFL campaign, so it’s not like he’s got another 10 years left. Stafford has consistently played through injuries during his career, and the Rams already accomplished their goal when they swung a trade with the Detroit Lions for Stafford back in 2021.
They won the Super Bowl that year and should not waste anymore time here; if they are holding the fifth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the QB position should absolutely be on the board for General Manager Les Snead, who has done a nice job at turning over this roster a bit since the Super Bowl victory.
The issue with the Rams in the 2024 NFL Season has been the injury bug. They’ve been hammered by the bug, and it’s thrown an ugly wrench into this year.
6. Tennessee Titans - Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama
Well, the Tennessee Titans plan on starting Mason Rudolph in Week 7, so that may signal the end of the Will Levis era from the franchise. The biggest change the Titans made this offseason was bringing in Brian Callahan to be their new head coach, and it was a shock that the team moved on from Mike Vrabel.
Tennessee is probably going to take a first-round QB next year, and Jalen Milroe from Alabama falls into their laps. The Titans made a ton of moves in free agency this past offseason, including signing Calvin Ridley, Tyler Boyd, Tony Pollard, and a slew of players on defense. If they can find a franchise QB in the 2025 NFL Draft, this roster may end up being a lot closer than we currently think.
The Titans taking a QB in the first round next April feels very likely.
7. New Orleans Saints - Carson Beck, QB, Georgia
The New Orleans Saints are a mess and got exposed on Thursday Night Football by the Denver Broncos. The one way the Saints can get ahead of their coming rebuild is to hit on a QB from the 2025 NFL Draft. At pick no. 7, they take Carson Beck from Georgia. Beck could end up being the first QB taken in the NFL Draft next April, but he falls to pick seven here.
The team’s decision to bring in Derek Carr in 2023 was just silliness, as this team needed to begin their rebuild last year. Well, the Saints have kicked the financial can down the road for multiple seasons now, and it’s surely going to catch up with them. They’re dealing with a ton of injuries and just need to hit the reset button here.
They can start by being huge sellers at the 2024 NFL Trade Deadline.
8. New York Jets - James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee
The New York Jets are another team a bit of a mess. The team is currently 2-4 on the season but did just swing a trade for stud WR Davante Adams to reunite with Aaron Rodgers. You have to wonder if Adams and Rodgers regret leaving Green Bay? It makes you think…
The Packers are living large with Jordan Love, and as of now, the Jets hold a top-10 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. They could use the pick to take someone who could boost their pass rush in James Pearce Jr from Tennessee.
New York swung a trade for Haason Reddick months ago, and Reddick just hasn’t shown up yet, so that trade is heading toward being a huge bust for GM Joe Douglas, who may not even be with the team next year if the Jets can’t start winning some football games. They face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7 of the 2024 NFL Season.
9. Cincinnati Bengals - Deone Walker, DL, Kentucky
What is going on with the Cincinnati Bengals? This team came into the 2024 NFL Season with Super Bowl hopes and feel far from a Super Bowl team at this point. Their defense is just flat-out awful; the pass rush simply does not exist outside of Trey Hendrickson, and a series of draft busts in the secondary has created a disastrous situation for Cincy on defense.
To the surprise of no one, their offense with Joe Burrow is still elite, and it’s actually a shame here, as Burrow is playing at an MVP-caliber level, but the Bengals don’t really have much to show for it. They do play the Cleveland Browns in Week 7 and could very easily get to 3-4, which does give them a fighting chance.
At pick nine in this 2025 NFL mock draft, the Bengals will look to bolster their defensive line with Deone Walker from Kentucky, who could end up being the first defensive lineman taken in the coming NFL draft. Can the Cincinnati Bengals turn their season around?
10. Arizona Cardinals - Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
I’ve maintained that the Arizona Cardinals are going to be better than people think this season, and I’ll still stand by that. However, this team desperately needs help in the secondary, to say the least, and simply does not have a viable pass rush. I believe the offense is in a good spot, so my guess is that General Manager Monti Ossenfort is going to make a huge push on the defensive side of the ball next offseason.
He could do so by taking Benjamin Morrison from Notre Dame a pick 10 of the NFL mock draft. The Cardinals would get some much-needed defensive help and could also end up being a frisky breakout team in the 2025 NFL Season.
In my opinion, they have the proper coaching and a franchise QB in place.
11. Las Vegas Raiders - Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
What position is Travis Hunter going to play in the NFL? It may make the most sense for him to settle into the wide receiver position, but he may be a better cornerback. Well, either way, the Las Vegas Raiders could use him on their team, and it just feels right that someone like Hunter heads to a city like Vegas.
The Raiders are a flat-out joke if we’re being honest and should have taken a QB here, but dysfunctional franchises do dysfunctional teams, so here we are. This team missed out on a first-round QB in the 2024 NFL Draft and started Gardner Minshew II to begin the 2024 NFL Season.
Well, just weeks into the season, Minshew got benched for Aidan O’Connell, and he isn’t a franchise QB. In this NFL mock draft, Travis Hunter heads to Las Vegas to suit up for the Raiders.
12. New York Giants - Kelvin Banks, OT, Texans
The New York Giants have not been a total disaster in the 2024 NFL Season, which has been a shock to me. Their main issue is and will continue to be their QB situation, as Daniel Jones is not a franchise passer, and Giants’ head coach Brian Daboll is just doing everything he can with this passer.
The G-Men should take a first-round QB in the 2025 NFL Draft, but dysfunctional teams do dysfunctional things, and it’s not that Kelvin Banks isn’t a good prospect; he is, it’s just the Giants should have gone with a QB here, but Banks is the selection.
He may end up kicking inside at the NFL level, which is fine. You just have to wonder if the Giants have plays to take a QB in a later round? Perhaps they’ll swing a trade for somebody? Who knows, but they’re 2-4 on the season and face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7.
13. Miami Dolphins - Mason Graham, DL, Michigan
The Miami Dolphins could be one of the most interesting teams this coming offseason. They seem to be set to get QB Tua Tagovailoa from his concussion in Week 8, so that’s good for them, but many thought that he’d actually retire given he suffered yet another concussion at th NFL level, and some have argued that the Dolphins should take a QB in the 2025 NFL Draft given that Tua Tagovailoa cannot stay consistently healthy.
Well, in this NFL mock draft, they don’t take a QB. Mason Graham from Michigan is the pick, as the Dolphins seek to try and become a bit stronger in the trenches, a spot where they’ve gotten exposed.
This team now as a legitimate reputation of not being able to play when the weather gets a little bit chilly, so them being able to hammer the trenches next offseason could be exactly what this franchise needs.
14. Seattle Seahawks - Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas
Surprise? Well, maybe. The Seattle Seahawks are not going to win anything of note as long as Geno Smith is their starting QB. I mean, come on now. The Seahawks brought in a new coaching staff this year, and I cannot imagine they want to stick with Smith for the long-term.
He’s not a franchise QB and is about the 16th-best QB in the NFL at this point. Well, in the 2025 NFL Draft, how about targeting someone like Quinn Ewers from Texas? He’d be a huge position of need for the Seahawks, and this could also be a scenario where Geno Smith does come back in 2025 but eventually paves the way for Ewers.
I’d imagine it could be a bit of an awkward situation if Geno Smith clearly sees that his replacement is being taken, but that’s just how the NFL works these days. He’s not good enough.
15. Indianapolis Colts - Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan
At some point, we have to have a conversation about Colts’ GM Chris Ballard, right? I mean, this man has had years upon years to fix the quarterback position post-Andrew Luck era, and he’s just not been able to do it. Ballard deserves a lot of the blame, as it’s not looking great for second-year QB Anthony Richardson, who has dealt with injuries across his brief NFL career thus far.
The Colts will look to bolster their defensive line by taking Kenneth Grant from Michigan, who is the second first-round Michigan DL in three picks to fly off the board. The Colts do have a solid offensive line and largely are fine with their playmakers on offense as well. The team does need to fix this defense once and for all, so perhaps Kenneth Grant can be that player for them at pick 15 in this NFL mock draft.
16. Dallas Cowboys - Luther Burden, WR, Missouri
The Dallas Cowboys are an interesting team. They let two starting players along their offensive line leave in free agency last offseason and are hurting in that department. Their defense is just bad, as Defensive Coordinator Mike Zimmer just isn’t getting this unit playing at the level they need to play.
But if we look back to the offense for a second; the Cowboys do not have a viable RB1 and do not have a reliable WR2 next to CeeDee Lamb, who signed a massive contract extension with the team recently. The Cowboys take wide receiver Luther Burden from Missouri, who is somehow there for them to take a pick 16 of this mock draft.
This could be a huge boost for the offense, but I do wonder how the Cowboys plan on fixing their offensive line and defense this coming offseason. Heck, does head coach Mike McCarthy even survive into the 2025 NFL Season?
17. Philadelphia Eagles - Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
The Philadelphia Eagles should be embarrassed of themselves if you ask me. This team is awful, period. They were on their bye week this past week and came out totally flat against the Cleveland Browns in Week 6. The Browns are among the worst teams in the NFL, and the Eagles got them at home for Week 6. They won by just four points.
How does that happen? Well, it’s a coaching issue, and I am not sure Nick Sirianni is the right man for the job to say the least. The Eagles need a boost on both sides of the ball, so in the first round of this NFL mock draft, they’ll take a hugely important position in the NFL and boost their pass rush.
Abdul Carter could be one of the first pass rushers taken in the 2025 NFL Draft, and at pick 17, the Eagles and GM Howie Roseman make the selection. If you ask me, this team hasn’t gotten good enough play from their starting QB in quite some time, but that may be for a different article…
18. Chicago Bears - Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
The Chicago Bears are a fun team, folks. They’re 4-2 on the year and seem to have found their QB of the future with Caleb Williams. Williams and the offense are beginning to stack weeks, and the defense is still playing at their normal level. The Bears could end up sliding into one of the NFC Wild Card seeds this season.
The Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, and Green By Packers all have at least four wins and are all better than the Bears, but that’s just a testament to just how good that division is. The Bears grabbing another pass rusher to pair with Montez Sweat could take this defense to the next level. They take Nic Scourton in this NFL mock draft.
19. San Francisco 49ers - Emery Jones Jr, OT, LSU
The San Francisco 49ers are another team in the 2024 NFL Season that has been bitten by the injury bug. We’ve yet to see RB Christian McCaffrey this year most notably. It’s a shame, as the 49ers are the best team in the NFL when healthy, but they just cannot seem to get past the Kansas City Chiefs when the two teams meet in the Super Bowl. Heading into Week 7, they hold the 19th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
In this mock draft, we have them taking Emery Jones, LSU’s right tackle, but Jones might be yet another first-round caliber offensive lineman who kicks inside and plays along the interior at the NFL level. Being that the 49ers do need a long-term left tackle after Trent Williams and a right tackle, my guess is that they try and see if Jones can indeed play tackle at the NFL level. It’d be awesome if he could.
20. Denver Broncos - Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Don’t look now, but heading into Week 7 of the 2024 NFL Season, the Denver Broncos are in a playoff spot in the AFC. This team is now 4-3 with rookie QB Bo Nix and the best defense in the NFL if you ask me. The Broncos can not only win close to nine or 10 games this year if they keep this up, but they can indeed make the postseason.
Next offseason is very likely going to be the Broncos making an all-in offseason push around Bo Nix, who’d be entering a critical year two in Sean Payton’s offense. One area they could look to improve is the RB spot, where Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty goes from being a Bronco and wearing orange and blue at the collegiate level to being a Bronco and wearing orange and blue at the NFL level. It almost makes too much sense.
21. Los Angeles Chargers - Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be a dangerous team if they can get into the NFL playoffs this season. They are tied with the Atlanta Falcons for the best record in the NFC South, but the Bucs did lose to the Falcons a couple of weeks ago, so that’s got them in second place in the division at this moment.
The Buccaneers could end up winning the NFC South, but either way, they’re a great team and could do in a number of directions in the 2025 NFL Draft. In this mock draft, they’ll look to bolster their secondary with Malaki Starks, a safety from Georgia.
Their defense definitely needs some more talent, as their offense is just on another planet right now with Baker Mayfield at QB. Mayfield leads the NFL with 15 touchdown passes approaching Week 7.
22. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Malaki Starks, S, Georgia

23. Baltimore Ravens - Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
Starting 0-2 on the season, the Baltimore Ravens were in some uncharted territory. Well, four wins in a row not only has this team in prime position to take a huge grip on the AFC North but has them among the best teams in the NFL yet again. The Ravens are getting some elite play from RB Derrick Henry and QB Lamar Jackson, who is again having another MVP type of year.
Well, could Jackson benefit from another wide receiver? Maybe. Emeka Egbuka plays his college football at Ohio State and could join a long line of former Ohio State wide receivers who have made it big in the NFL. It does feel like the Ravens are missing a true no. 1 wide receiver. That could add yet another wrinkle to their offense, which could make some even better on that side of the ball, if that’s even possible.
Can the Ravens make a Super Bowl run this season after failing in 2023? Perhaps.
24. Green Bay Packers - Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota
The Green Bay Packers are such a fun, young team man. QB Jordan Love has played in just four games in the 2024 NFL Season but has thrown 12 touchdown passes, which is hilarious. Love and the Packers are positioned very nicely for the future and could really go in a number of different directions in the 2025 NFL Draft.
In this mock draft, they’ll take Aireontae Ersery, a tackle from Minnesota.
I guess they can look to bolster their offensive line and just try to create the most ideal situation for Jordan Love, who feels like he’s on the doorstep of superstardom in the NFL. He broke out in the 2023 NFL Season and helped propel the Packers into the postseason, where they made a run into the NFC Divisional Round, where they gave the San Francisco 49ers some fits.
25. Buffalo Bills - Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
The Buffalo Bills are interesting; they’ve lost some brutal games against AFC contenders like the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans, and barely got past the New York Jets. However, they are still 4-2 on the season and are still first place in the AFC East as we hit Week 7 of the 2024 NFL Season.
They definitely did a bit of housecleaning with their roster this past offseason and don’t have as much talent on it as they have in previous seasons. Well, they could look to rebuild their pass rush in the 2025 NFL Draft by taking Mykel Williams from Georgia. Most notably, the Buffalo Bills traded Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans and also let Gabe Davis walk out the door in free agency.
Bills’ GM Brandon Beane definitely has some work to do to get this roster back into a decent spot.
26. Washington Commanders - Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas
How about the Washington Commanders? This team has shocked the NFL in the 2024 season. They’re 4-2 on the year and are first place in the NFC East, which is insane. The Commanders of old seem to be dead, and it’s largely thanks to rookie QB Jayden Daniels, who is playing out of his mind this season.
What the Commanders have built does seme sustainable, and I do not believe this team is going to hit some sort of wall. Sure, they may lose two of three or whatever, but what they’ve got going is legitimate. In the 2025 NFL Draft, they’d be wise to begin going all-in around Daniels, so at pick 26 in this NFL mock draft, they’ll take Isaiah Bond, a wide receiver from Texas. The team did trade Jahan Dotson, and Terry McLaurin is beginning to get up there in age, so the WR room is a position of need for them if you ask me.
27. Pittsburgh Steelers - Jonah Savaiinaea, iOL, Arizona
The Pittsburgh Steelers are starting Russell Wilson for Week 7 against the New York Jets. I guess the Steelers want to see what they have in Wilson now that his calf injury is better. Well, one area that the Steelers have invested in significantly is the offensive line. They took Troy Fautanu and Zach Frazier in the 2024 NFL Draft, and are going to continue to rebuild their offensive line in the 2025 NFL Draft with Jonah Savaiinaea, who plays at Arizona.
This makes it the second first-round player in this mock draft who played their college football at Arizona, which is pretty neat. The Steelers should be in the market for a first-round QB, but they may not be bad enough to land one of the top prospects.
28. Detroit Lions - Jack Sawyer, EDGE, Ohio State
Man, you just have to feel for the Detroit Lions. They will be missing stud defensive end Aidan Hutchinson for the rest of the 2024 NFL Season due to a terrible lower-leg injury that required emergency surgery. The Lions should still be able to win a ton of games this year and may end up again winning the NFC North. This team is built the right way and is built by Brad Holmes, who is the best GM in the NFL as far as I’m concerned.
Holmes is likely going to make some sort of move by the 2024 NFL Trade Deadline to try and get a pass rush boost with Hutchinson out, and the common name that has been thrown around is Maxx Crosby of the Las Vegas Raiders.
Well, they can get some additional insurance in the 2025 NFL Draft by taking Jack Sawyer in the first round from Ohio State. Holmes has drafted a ton of studs already in the handful of drafts that he’s had with the Lions. He’s just simply excellent.
29. Atlanta Falcons - Harold Perkins, LB, LSU
I really like the Atlanta Falcons this season. The team paid a ton of money for Kirk Cousins in free agency this past offseason and also shockingly took Michael Penix Jr at pick eight in the 2024 NFL Draft. When you think about it though, them taking Penix may have been a genius, forward-thinking move from GM Terry Fontenot. Penix is going to end up sitting for a few years, but he may be more than ready when he steps into the lineup.
The Falcons could, in the meantime, look to fix their defense, which is littered with veteran players that will probably need replacing with some younger talent in the coming seasons. Harold Perkins is probably the best linebacker in the 2025 NFL Draft class and could hear his name called in the first round.
The Falcons could certainly use the boost on defense. The team is 4-2 on the season and first place in the NFC South, so this team could very much end up hosting a playoff game later this season.
30. Houston Texans - Cameron Williams, OT, Texas
The Houston Texans haven’t been particularly great on either side of the ball this season, but they’re 5-1, which kind of tells you just how good this team can be if their offense or defense gets going. In the first round of this mock draft, they’ll take Cameron Williams, a tackle from Texas. General Manager Nick Caserio has built this team the right way, but they could use a boost along the offensive line.
They have high-flying playmakers on offense and some insan young talent on defense, so them hitting along the offensive line could be a smart move here. CJ Stroud will still be on his rookie deal next offseason, so I would expect the Texans to continue going all-in. They did so last offseason, and could be a Super Bowl team this year.
31. Kansas City Chiefs - Shavon Revel Jr, CB, East Carolina
The Kansas City Chiefs are 5-0 and have not played great football on offense this season. This could tell us just how good they could be this year if Patrick Mahomes quits throwing so many interceptions and the team figures out how to push the ball downfield. A huge issue for the Chiefs this season is that they are down all of Hollywood Brown, Isaiah Pacheco, and Rashee Rice.
They really aren’t left with much, as tight end Travis Kelce seems to be over the hump a bit. I’d expect the Chiefs to keep winning games and also probably add a playmaker at the NFL Trade Deadline in a couple of weeks. In the 2025 NFL Draft, though, they’ll take Shavon Revel Jr, a CB from East Carolina. The team did trade former cornerback L’Jarius Sneed this past offseason, and this secondary is one that opposing teams can throw on.
It would not surprise me to see the Chiefs make an interesting move like this when the 2025 NFL Draft rolls around next April. Can they become the first team in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in a row? They are 5-0 and the only unbeaten team in the AFC approaching Week 7.
32. Minnesota Vikings - Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State
The Minnesota Vikings are currently the “best” team in the NFL as it pertains to the 2025 NFL Draft. They currently hold the last pick in the first round, which is insane. The team lost rookie QB JJ McCarthy for the entire 2024 NFL Season due to a torn meniscus. That paved the way for Sam Darnold to get the starting job, and all he’s done is throw 11 touchdown passes through the first five games this season.
The Vikings are 5-0 on the season and have a huge game in Week 7. In this NFL mock draft, they take cornerback Denzel Burke from Ohio State, which caps off our latest 2025 NFL mock draft.
