The 2025 NFL Draft is actually not too far away, so let's get into our latest mock draft, which is two-rounds long and contains some major surprises. The college football season is nearing the end, so the focus will soon turn to draft season and the NFL Combine.

The 2024 NFL Season is also about two months away from being complete, so the league is just moving at lightning speed this year. The 2025 NFL Draft is not expected to be as talented at the top as the 2024 NFL Draft was, and the QB class isn't projected to be all that good at all.

It seems like the year to get a QB was in 2024, and there has been some chatter that the 2026 QB class could be quite good, so there could be some teams in 2025 who are just in no man's land with their QB spot. Well, we have put together our latest NFL mock draft. It's two rounds long and has some nice surprises.

2025 NFL Mock Draft: Full two-round mock draft with major surprises

1. New York Giants - Cam Ward, QB, Miami (FL)

The New York Giants currently hold the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and will most definitely take a QB, regardless of who is making the decisions in their front office. This has probably been one of their worst seasons in franchise history, and all it may net them is a good-not-great QB prospect in Cam Ward from Miami, who may or may not be the top QB in the draft depending on who you ask.

2. Las Vegas Raiders - Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Shedeur Sanders playing for the Las Vegas Raiders just feels right, doesn't it? The Raiders desperately need a QB, and while Sanders is also not a great prospect, he does have some nice qualities that could translate into the NFL level.

3. Jacksonville Jaguars - Will Campbell, OT, LSU

It seems like the Jacksonville Jaguars always need offensive line help, and getting some help at the top of the 2025 NFL Draft could be huge for this franchise. This team needs a serious reboot, but they do have some solid roster talent on both sides of the ball, so this does not need to be a total rebuild. I went with Will Campbell at pick two for the Jags in this NFL mock draft.

4. New England Patriots - Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

Mason Graham, the stud defensive tackle from Michigan, is the pick for the New England Patriots in this NFL mock draft. The Pats do need to rebuild their offensive line and their WR room, but they elect to bolster their trenches on defense with this selection.

5. Carolina Panthers - Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

Have the Carolina Panthers seen enough from Bryce Young to give him a third year? I am not sure, but with both Ward and Sanders off the board, the Panthers do not have a QB they like at this stage in the mock draft and will take Abdul Carter, who is among the best pass rushers in the country. The team recently traded Brian Burns to the New York Giants, so they look to fill that void with Carter.

6. New York Jets - Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

The New York Jets take Travis Hunter in this 2025 NFL mock draft. Hunter is arguably the best player in the country and could win the Heisman Trophy in 2024. He also may want to play both wide receiver and cornerback at the NFL level, and you could argue that the Jets have needs at both positions.

New York kicks off their potential post-Aaron Rodgers era with Travis Hunter.

7. Tennessee Titans - Malaki Starks, S, Georgia

Malaki Starks is among the best defensive backs in the country, and he heads to Tennessee with the seventh overall pick in this 2025 NFL mock draft. The Titans are an interesting team - Will Levis seems pretty up and down but has shown some nice things here and there, so you have to wonder if the Titans are willing to give Levis another season.

But much like the Panthers, they are not really in range for another QB at this stage, so they settle for Starks, who could be the best player on their board when the 2025 NFL Draft rolls around.

8. Cleveland Browns - Will Johnson, CB. Michigan

The Cleveland Browns are yet another team that needs to take a QB but does not really have one to take in this NFL mock draft. They'll end up with Will Johnson from Michigan, who is the best cornerback in the country. The Browns are a total mess if you ask me and just need to get some good, young players in their building.

9. Chicago Bears - Kelvin Banks Jr, OT, Texas

The Chicago Bears have now fired their head coach and offensive coordinator that they had to begin the 2024 NFL Season. It has been yet another season to forget for the Bears, who found another way to lose, and this time lost to the Detroit Lions in hysterical fashion on Thanksgiving. They are again set to pick ninth in the first round if this NFL Draft order holds.

And it would be wise for Ryan Poles to invest a little bit more into the offensive line. Taking Kelvin Banks, the stud tackle from Texas, may do more good for Caleb Williams than yet another wide receiver. The trenches feel like the way to go.

10. New Orleans Saints - Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

It's hard to say if the New Orleans Saints will actually embrace the rebuild they have needed for years now. The team did trade Marshon Lattimore to the Washington Commanders, so perhaps there is a big rebuild on the horizon.

The Saints take Mykel Williams from Georgia in the first round of this NFL mock draft. It would be wise to try and replace the production that they are no longer getting from long-time DL, Cam Jordan. New Orleans takes a pass rusher here with the 10th overall pick.

11. Cincinnati Bengals - Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

How about some fireworks? The Cincinnati Bengals practically gave away Joe Mixon to the Houston Texans last offseason, and that has definitely turned out to be a pretty iffy move. Well, the Bengals could take the best RB in college football in Ashton Jeanty, who could win the Heisman Trophy this season.

The Bengals need some help defensively, but I guess Duke Tobin can't help himself here! Jeanty on the Bengals would unlock another element for this offense.

12. Miami Dolphins - Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama

The Miami Dolphins still can't win games in the cold, folks! I have no idea how this team figures out how to, but I guess getting stronger in the trenches is the way to go...?

Tyler Booker from Alabama is the pick here for the Dolphins as they look to try and take that next step in 2025 and beyond.

13. Indianapolis Colts - Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

The Indianapolis Colts could be quite the dangerous team with a stud tight end on their roster. And oh yeah, the QB position is pretty important, too. Anthony Richardson has had an iffy start to his career if we are being honest, but to still some optimism into the Colts fanbase, it is worth nothing that Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills did not truly breakout until year three.

So there could be some time left for Richardson, and giving him an elite receiving weapon at the tight end position in Colston Loveland could be what helps him get over the edge and into where many want him to be.

14. Dallas Cowboys - Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

The Dallas Cowboys defense feels more secure than their offense, so I went with the wide receiver position here. It's clear that Dallas does need another option next to CeeDee Lamb, and the big-bodied target in Tetairoa McMillan from Arizona could be exactly what this offense needs.

I am curious to see if the Cowboys make any major changes this offseason. If so, they could target a much more valuable position in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers need help all along their defense, so it should be no surprise that a pass rusher is being mocked to them with the 15th overall pick. Nic Scourton heads Tampa Bay to see if he help bring some energy into this unit.

Offensively, they are in good hands with Baker Mayfield, but they are in need of some help defensively. Todd Bowles gets a pass rusher here about halfway through the first round.

16. Los Angeles Rams - Luther Burden, WR, Missouri

The Los Angeles Rams may have to make some sort of decision with QB Matthew Stafford in the near future, so it would not shock me if they tried to get a QB in the 2025 NFL Draft. Well, in the first round, they elect not to and instead get a stud WR prospect in Luther Burden from Missouri. Burden seems to profile similarly to guys like Deebo Samuel and Ja'Marr Chase, so this could end up being a lethal duo for the future alongside Cooper Kupp.

The Rams take Burden at pick 16.

17. San Francisco 49ers - James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee

The San Francisco 49ers may be headed toward some sort of re-tooling next offseason. Their main foundation seems to be cracking, and it would be smart if Kyle Shanahan and GM John Lynch tried to infuse this roster with some younger talent. One area where they have always invested heavily into is the defensive front, and I do not see how that changes in 2025.

I went with James Pearce Jr, the stud pass rusher from Tennessee who just lives in the opposition's backfield. He would be a welcome addition for the 49ers. The team could also target a tackle, cornerback, or even a wide receiver in the first round in 2025.

18. Arizona Cardinals - Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State

You can tell that the Arizona Cardinals have a lot to like and could be right on the cusp of getting back into contention in 2025. They simply need more talent on both sides of the ball, so I went with some beef along the defensive front in Tyleik Williams from Ohio State at pick 18.

19. Atlanta Falcons - Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

The Atlanta Falcons taking a wide receiver may not be the popular move here, but this team does have a solid roster. I would argue, and many others would, that this team needs to invest more into their pass rush, but with Michael Penix Jr waiting in the wings, I could see a scenario where GM Terry Fontenot heads to the free agent market to try and fix the defense.

This could allow him to take a young playmaker to perhaps build a long-term connection with Penix. The other thing to note here is if the Falcons would actually keep Penix on the bench again in 2025. Do they want to stick with Kirk Cousins for year two? Only time will tell.

20. Seattle Seahawks - Cameron Williams, OT, Texas

The Seattle Seahawks lost starting center Connor Williams to retirement a few weeks ago, which felt pretty random, but here we are. The Hawks most definitely needed more OL help even if Williams was still in the picture. I took Cameron Williams from Texans with their 20th overall pick.

Whether they stick with Geno Smith or not is irrelevant here - this team needs to invest into their offensive line in the worst way.

21. Washington Commanders - Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas

The Washington Commanders do need to figure out their WR room for the long-term, as Terry McLaurin is getting older. Washington continues to try and make life easier for Jayden Daniels and take Isaiah Bond from Texas in the first round of this NFL mock draft.

They are riding a three-game winning streak, but another weapon on offense could stabilize this unit in 2025 and beyond.

22. Houston Texans - Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina

The Houston Texans take Shavon Revel from East Carolina at pick 22. He tore his ACL early in the 2024 college football season, but he could be 100% and ready to go for Week 1 of the 2025 NFL Season. Houston is a team that most definitely needs to invest into their offensive line, but there is also free agency and the rest of the NFL Draft for them to do that.

23. Denver Broncos - Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

A huge missing piece on the Denver Broncos offense is clearly their tight end position, so they nab Tyler Warren in the first round of this 2025 NFL mock draft. You just have to wonder just how much more efficient rookie QB Bo Nix would be if he had a stud TE on offense to begin with.

The Broncos playmakers are just not all that good outside of Courtland Sutton, but their lack of production from the TE room is obvious. I would be shocked if Denver didn't target an offensive tackle or an offensive playmaker in the first round of the actual 2025 NFL Draft. It is an urgent need for this team.

24. Los Angeles Chargers - Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

The Los Angeles Chargers are playing with house money in 2024. They are a good team, but they lack explosiveness on both sides of the ball. The Chargers may still be another year after this away from a Super Bowl, as they have not been able to beat very good teams this year. Both sides of the ball need an infusion of talent, so I went with Derrick Harmon, a defensive tackle, at pick 24.

25. Baltimore Ravens - Jonah Savaiinaea, OT, Arizona

The Baltimore Ravens let guard John Simpson leave in free agency, and they also traded right tacdkle Morgan Moses in a series of moves that I just did not get last offseason. Sure, they have been fine along the offensive line, but I do believe they could draft someone in the first round. They've got a rookie right tackle, and left tackle Ronnie Stanley is a free agent in 2025.

The offensive line could be a huge need for the Ravens, so in this mock draft, I went with Jonah Savaiinaea, who is a tackle, but someone who may kick inside to guard at the NFL level.

26. Pittsburgh Steelers - Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama

Would this be a surprise? Maybe not. The Pittsburgh Steelers are in the same position with their QB room in 2024 as they were in 2023; there is no long-term answer on the roster, and no, Justin Fields is not that guy. There is a reason why the Steelers benched Fields, and it's more of an indictment on him that a washed-up QB in Russell Wilson has made this offense better.

Jalen Milroe could benefit from sitting behind Russell Wilson for a year, and at this point, it may only be a matter of time before the Steelers and Wilson agree on some sort of contract extension. He's not been all that good, but the Steelers are winning games, so it's not likely that they just let him depart in free agency in 2025.

27. Green Bay Packers - Waler Nolen, DT, Ole Miss

The Green Bay Packers could go in a number of different directions with their first-round pick in 2025. I went with Walter Nolen here. Green Bay obviously plays in the cold, and one way they have been able to sustain success for years besides their QB room has been their strong play in the trenches, so it would not shock me if that ends up being one of their top picks in the 2025 NFL Draft.

28. Minnesota Vikings - Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame

In my opinion, the cornerback position is the Minnesota Vikings most urgent need, and it could be the one position that is preventing this defense from becoming truly elite. The Vikes take CB Benjamin Morrison from Notre Dame in this NFL mock draft.

And they could also insert JJ McCarthy into what could be one of the best overall situations in the NFL. It will be interesting to see if McCarthy does get the reigns in 2025, as Sam Darnold is playing well, and the Vikings did also grab Daniel Jones.

29. Philadelphia Eagles - Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia

The Philadelphia Eagles seem to be hitting their stride here. They have now won seven games in a row after a pretty rocky 2-2 start. Both sides of the ball are operating at a high level, and this Eagles team does feel a lot closer to their 2022 selves than their 2023 version. Well, Philly could look to shore up the middle of their defense in the 2025 NFL Draft, and we all know that Eagles GM Howie Roseman loves his defensive players to come from Georgia.

Doesn't this just feel like the right pick for the Eagles? It fills a need and would not come as a shock at all. Roseman is actually kind of predictable when you think about it.

30. Buffalo Bills - Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss

The Buffalo Bills are enjoying the best year of the Josh Allen era thus far, and it also happens to be the first season without Stefon Diggs in the picture. You have to wonder if that is a coincidence or not. Buffalo could most definitely use another wide receiver, so in this NFL mock draft here at pick 30, I sent them Tre Harris from Ole Miss. He and Keon Coleman could be the next great WR duo in the NFL.

31. Kansas City Chiefs - Harold Fannin Jr, TE, Bowling Green

Harold Fannin Jr may have some big shoes to fill in Kansas City, and it's clear by watching this team that they need to add more playmaker. Sure, Rashee Rice and Hollywood Brown are hurt, but Travis Kelce is clearly not his old self, so whether it's a WR or TE, GM Brett Veach has to get someone on this roster.

32. Detroit Lions - Landon Jackson, EDGE, Arkansas

The Detroit Lions are the best team in football if you ask me. And there isn't some secret here. Their offensive line is the best and strongest part of their roster. Lions GM Brad Holmes has done a nice job turning that unit into the best in football, so there is no need for him to go against what has worked for him before.

At the bottom of the first round, he'll actually turn his attention to the defensive side of the ball and try to get this defensive lined shored up. The entire Lions defense has been dealing with a ton of injuries this season, so perhaps adding Landon Jackson can help out the entire unit.

Round 2

33. New York Giants - Wyatt Milum, OG, West Virginia

The New York Giants elect to not only take a QB with their first pick in this NFL mock draft, but they also bring in another starting offensive lineman in Wyatt Milum from West Virginia. I have no idea if Joe Schoen will remain in his GM role with the Giants, but it may be smartest for the team to part ways with him, as it's just not been a very good tenure.

Getting your hopeful franchise QB and starting OL player with their first two picks is some good roster building if you ask me. The big and obvious question is whether or not Cam Ward ends up being the guy they have needed for years now.

34. Las Vegas Raiders - Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

The Las Vegas Raiders put up a very good fight in Week 13 versus the Kansas City Chiefs, but a wacky ending handed KC the victory. The Raiders winning that game would not have changed what this team needs. In the first round of this NFL mock draft, we sent them Shedeur Sanders. In the second round, we give then Nick Emmanwori from South Carolina.

Bolstering the secondary in a division that now has Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, and Bo Nix would be a wise idea for Vegas here.

35. Jacksonville Jaguars - Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota

The Jacksonville Jaguars are taking two players along their offensive line with their first two picks in this NFL mock draft. In my opinion, not only is Doug Pederson not going to be the head coach in 2025, but I am not sure that Trent Baalke, their GM, is going to be in the picture, either. Getting the most out of Trevor Lawrence and keeping him upright should be their top priority.

I mean, just look at the Denver Broncos, for example. Their offensive line is a much stronger unit than their WR and TE rooms, and we are seeing this unit and rookie QB Bo Nix catch fire, so it's wise to always build teams from the inside, out.

36. New England Patriots - Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M

The New England Patriots take another defensive player in this NFL mock draft. This may not be the best roster building method for a team that needs to overhaul their offensive line and WR rooms, but here we are. It would not shock me to see the Patriots botch what they may have with rookie QB Drake Maye.

And this NFL Draft just does not feel super talented at the OL position if you ask me. Maybe I am way off there, but the Pats get Shemar Stewart to beef up their pass rush in this mock.1

37. New York Jets - Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas

Surprise? Maybe. The New York Jets clearly need to figure out their QB situation, and it was a huge mistake from the beginning that this team had all that faith in a QB in Aaron Rodgers who is 40 years old and multiple years past his prime. The Jets fired Robert Saleh and Joe Douglas this season, so this franchise is approaching a rebuild.

With that said, Douglas did hit on a lot of draft picks, so this roster isn't bare-bones by any means. Truly, if they can hit on a rookie QB, this team is going to start winning again. Quinn Ewers is a good value pick here in the second round of this 2025 NFL mock draft. Perhaps he could sit behind Tyrod Taylor for a year or another veteran QB that the Jets have their eyes on.

38. Tennessee Titans - Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

Kenneth Grant could go in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, but in this mock draft, he drops to the top of the second round. The Titans took Malaki Starks in the first round and will double-down on another defensive player here in the second round. If this actually does happen, it could be a clear indication that the team is willing to give Will Levis a third year. He really hasn't been too bad this year. It's up-and-down, but the "up" might be enough for the front office.

39. Cleveland Browns - Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina

The Cleveland Browns should let current RB Nick Chubb depart in free agency. The Browns need to figure out their QB situation as we know, but they also have to keep their other positions in mind. The team looks to replace Chubb with Omarion Hampton from UNC.

Perhaps this NFL mock draft has the Browns laying the groundwork for a QB they have in mind down the line?

40. Chicago Bears - Princely Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss

The Chicago Bears have two-straight picks here in the second round of this 2025 NFL mock draft. They used their first-round pick here on OT Kelvin Banks from Texas, and they will continue to address the trenches at pick 40 with Princely Umanmielen from Ole Miss. The Bears do boast a good roster, and it's really only a strong coaching staff away from being a legitimate team once again.

41. Chicago Bears - Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa

With their second pick in a row, the Bears now take another weapon for Caleb Williams and take Kaleb Johnson from Iowa. Johnson has rushed for over 1,500 yards this season for the Iowa Hawkeyes. And when a team does have an encouraging QB still on their rookie deal, it's good practice for them to load up the roster on both sides of the ball.

It would not shock me to also see Chicago being aggressive in free agency. Say what you want about how the Bears Week 13 game ended; Caleb Williams is a very talented player and is clearly someone who can develop in a huge way. There isn't any reason to not give him another weapon if you ask me.

42. Cincinnati Bengals - Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford

With Ashton Jeanty in the first round and now Elic Ayomanor in the second round, the Cincinnati Bengals are not going away from what they do best. The team must address their defense at some point, but that could be what their free agency period is for. You have to wonder if the Bengals will ever shed that label of being a cheap franchise.

With the possibility that Tee Higgins departs in free agency this coming offseason, Cincy takes Ayomanor to hopefully fill the void, but they are not out of the woods entirely with their WR room, as Ja'Marr Chase also needs an extension.

43. New Orleans Saints - Tacario Davis, CB, Arizona

The New Orleans Saints traded Marshon Lattimore to the Washington Commanders, so this team could take a CB to fill that void. They took Kool-Aid McKinstry in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, and in this NFL mock draft, they double-down on the position yet again and take Tacario Davis from Arizona.

44. Indianapolis Colts - LT Overton, EDGE, Alabama

The Indianapolis Colts struggle to stop the run and simply need to get more stout along the defensive front, so it should come as no surprise that they could take a pass rusher in the 2025 NFL Draft. It seems like Colts GM Chris Ballard is always taking a swing at a player who can rush the passer, and his latest swing in LT Overton from Alabama.

45. Dallas Cowboys - Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State

It should come as no surprise that the Dallas Cowboys take a running back in the 2025 NFL Draft. This team is pretty bad overall, but one area that they truly need help is at WR and RB. We mocked them Tetairoa McMillan in the first round, and will mock them Quinshon Judkins in the second round.

While Dallas coud also use some OL help, Jerry Jones can't help himself. It'll be interesting to see just how efficient Dak Prescott is upon his return from a pretty major hamstring injury that requires surgery and a months-long recovery.

The Cowboys are trying to make life easier for Prescott and give him a WR in the first round and Judkins in the second round.

46. Miami Dolphins - Deone Walker, DT, Kentucky

The Dolphins are continuing to beef up their trenches. Deone Walker is the pick in the second round of this 2025 NFL mock draft. Miami simply has to figure out how to win in the cold, period. If it's a head coach or QB issue, they may have to make some major changes, but you can't deny that they Tua Tagovailoa is healthy and on the field, Miami does win games.

Perhaps Deone Walker gives this defense more security up front in 2025 and beyond.

47. Carolina Panthers - Donovan Jackson, OG, Ohio State

The Carolina Panthers take Donovan Jackson from Ohio State in the second round of this NFL mock draft. Abdul Carter was their first pick, and they continue their trend of adding to the trenches here with Jackson. In this mock draft, it does become more likely that the team gives Bryce Young a third year to prove that he is an NFL-caliber, franchise QB.

48. San Francisco 49ers - Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

The San Francisco 49ers could lose Dre Greenlaw in free agency this coming offseason, and this franchise has been know to have top play at the ILB spot. Fred Warner is still in the picture, but while they let Greenlaw test the market and likely sign with a new team, they take Jihaad Campbell from Alabama to pair him with Warner.

The defense also does need some help, as that unit just isn't what it used to be. It's been all defense for the Niners this far in this 2025 NFL mock draft.

49. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to add to the defensive side of the ball in this 2025 NFL mock draft. They'll take Maxwell Hairston from Kentucky and try to improve their secondary. Notably, the Bucs brought back safety Jordan Whitehead this past offseason, but did trade former CB Carlton Davis to the Detroit Lions.

Bucs GM Jason Licht definitely has a solid track record with what he has been able to do in the NFL Draft in recent years, so there is reason to believe that Hairston could be another great pick in the secondary for Licht and the Bucs.

50. Arizona Cardinals - Jahdae Barron, S, Texas

The Arizona Cardinals will be in the business of adding as much talent as possible next offseason. That's just what this team needs to do, as we can all see that they are trending in the right direction. At pick 50 in this NFL mock draft, the Cardinals get Jahdae Barron and try to fortify their secondary.

51. Seattle Seahawks - J.T. Tuimoloau, EDGE, Ohio State

The Seattle Seahawks have not taken a QB thus far in this NFL mock draft, but that is a position they must address this coming offseason. I have no idea why people try to convince the NFL world that Geno Smith is some underrated QB who needs more respect - Seattle isn't going to win very much if they continue starting him.

You would ideally like to see the Seahawks taking a first-round QB, but they were not able to do that in this mock draft and will take a pass rusher in J.T. Tuimoloau in the second round.

52. Atlanta Falcons - Harold Perkins Jr, LB, LSU

The Atlanta Falcons need help all across their defense, so this pick should not be a surprise. Harold Perkins could be one of the first linebackers that hears his named called in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Falcons grab him here at pick 52 and in hopes that he can stabilize the middle part of that unit.

53. Houston Texans - Emery Jones, OT, LSU

The Houston Texans offensive line play has not been great this year, and while second-year QB CJ Stroud does deserve some of the blame for the team's struggles, the OL most definitely needs improved. Texans GM Nick Caserio has done a fantastic job overall in bringing this franchise back from the dead, but it's clear that he will need to invest into an important position next offseason.

The Texans take OT Emery Jones from LSU and hope that they can simply field a competent offensive line in 2025 and beyond. It's rare for a QB or team overall to succeed with poor OL play. This is the main building block of an NFL team besides the QB.

And the Texans must do whatever it takes to protect CJ Stroud.

54. Denver Broncos - Evan Stewart, WR, Oregon

The Denver Broncos continue to load up offensively for Bo Nix, and take Evan Stewart from Oregon. Stewart transferred to Oregon for the 2024 college football season, so he did not play with Nix, but he does come from the same, top-tier program. Denver is enjoying a ton of success this year with their rookie QB, and they are doing it without much at the playmaker positions.

It's been Courtland Sutton and "hold your breath" with the Broncos playmakers this year, but this success is showing just how important competent coaching and OL play is. If Denver can bring in some pieces on offense to make life even easier for Bo Nix, this team is going to ascend right into the Super Bowl contention window.

55. Washington Commanders - Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame

The Washington Commanders have laid the groundwork for long-term success in the NFL. They have dropped three games in a row, but if you ask me, they are going to be just fine. Jayden Daniels has been very good this year, and it's important to keep in mind that this is year one for the GM, head coach, and QB.

The potential is through the roof, and at pick 55 of this NFL mock draft, Washington takes safety Xavier Watts from Notre Dame.

56. Los Angeles Chargers - Barrett Carter, LB, Clemson

The Los Angeles Chargers are probably going to be very aggressive next offseason with the players that they bring in. Their current group are mostly just holdovers from the previous regime, so it's likely that we see more of Jim Harbaugh's footprint on this roster going forward. They address the defense in the second round and take Barrett Carter from Clemson.

57. Baltimore Ravens - Mansoor Delane, CB, Virginia Tech

It's actually insane to me that the Baltimore Ravens passing defense is as bad as it is given the talent they have within the secondary. At pick 57 in this mock draft, they take CB Mansoor Delane from Virginia Tech. The Ravens have had among two of the best at their position in Kyle Hamilton and Marlon Humphrey, but perhaps a new, younger player coming into this unit could be a missing piece.

Beyond the secondary, Baltimore has continually disappointed in the postseason. Can they make that desired Super Bowl run this year? If so, we'll be having some much different conversations about this team. Baltimore opts to bolster their secondary at the bottom of the second round.

58. Pittsburgh Steelers - T.J. Sanders, DT, South Carolina

In the fist round, the Pittsburgh Steelers took Jalen Milroe in hopes that he can sit behind Russell Wilson for a year and learn the ropes. The Steelers need to find a long-term QB situation, and they take a chance with Milroe. In the second round of this mock draft, PIttsburgh bolsters their defensive front, as guys like Cam Heyward and TJ Watt are getting up there in age. Larry Ogunjobi is not young, either.

T.J. Sanders from South Carolina can be the beginning of a new generation along the Steelers defensive front.

59. Green Bay Packers - Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College

The Green Bay Packers took care of business in Week 13 of the 2024 NFL Season and may be a Super Bowl contender depending on who you ask. It's up to GM Brian Gutekunst to continue hitting on draft picks, which is one thing he has done at a high level in recent years. The Packers take EDGE Donovan Ezeiruaku at pick 59 in this NFL mock draft.

60. Buffalo Bills - Kyle Kennard, EDGE, South Carolina

The Buffalo Bills bolster their defensive front with Kyle Kennard from South Carolina at pick 60. Buffalo may end up being the biggest threat to the Kansas City Chiefs this year, and this could be the year where Buffalo actually takes care of business against them in the postseason.

61. Buffalo Bills - Josh Conerly Jr, OT, Oregon

The Buffalo Bills have the 61st overall pick as well and take Josh Conerly Jr, a tackle from Oregon. While the Bills do have a solid tackle duo in Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown, I see no harm in taking someone they can work with and try to develop behind the scenes.

Buffalo is another team that has typically always been strong in the trenches, so a pick like this should not come as a surprise.

62. Philadelphia Eagles - Jack Sawyer, EDGE, Ohio State

The Philadelphia Eagles take EDGE Jack Sawyer from Ohio State at pick 62. Philly is always a team that boasts one of the best rosters in the NFL, and much of their success in the Howie Roseman era has been due to their elite pass rushers. It wasn't just a couple of years ago where this team had four players with double-digit sacks.

Roseman continues to get stronger across the defensive line and makes Sawyer the pick here.

63. Kansas City Chiefs - Kevin Winston Jr, S, Penn State

The Kansas City Chiefs love themselves those mid and late-round defensive backs. Kevin Winston Jr is their second round pick and could be someone that steps into an immediate role in Steve Spagnuolo's defense. KC has definitely delt the loss of L'Jarius Sneed, who they traded to the Tennessee Titans this past offseason.

Their secondary is still solid, but I would expect some reinforcements added this coming offseason.

64. Detroit Lions - Tate Ratledge, OG, Georgia

To wrap up this two-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft, the Detroit Lions take guard Tate Ratledge from Georgia. Starting guard Kevin Zeitler is a free agent following the 2024 NFL Season, so the Lions may want to have some long-term options to fill that void.

The Lions took Christian Mahogany in the 2024 NFL Draft, but he was a sixth-round pick. Detroit uses a much higher pick here for Ratledge. Brad Holmes will continue investing a ton of resources into the trenches. It's a huge reason why this franchise is as successful as they have been over the last couple seasons.
