The 2025 NFL Draft is just three months away now, so let's break open our latest two-round mock draft, which includes some chaos at the top. It truly is always mock draft season, and with three months until the 2025 NFL Draft in late April, the mock drafts will only get more frequent.
With the 2024 NFL Season not yet over, we do not officially know the first round order as of yet. Once Super Bowl 59 concludes, the NFL Draft order will be set. As we have said, the main issue with the 2025 NFL Draft is the lack of top-end talent at the top and the lack of a strong QB class.
This is a huge contrast from the 2024 NFL Draft, where six QBs went in the first 12 picks, which is just insane. With the QB class not being strong and the blue-chip talent being less than ideal, there could be some wheeling and dealing, especially at the top of the draft.
Let's dive into our latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
2025 NFL Mock Draft: Latest two-round mock includes some chaos at the top
1. Tennessee Titans - Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
We've already got a shocking pick at the top of this 2025 NFL Mock Draft, as the Tennessee Titans decide that none of the quarterbacks are worthy enough of being the first of the first overall pick. They decide on Travis Hunter, who was the best player in college football this past season.
With a weaker QB class likely for 2025, this might actually be a genius move by the Titans - just because they do need a QB, does not mean they should look to overdraft someone. The Titans grab Hunter at the top of this mock draft.
2. Las Vegas Raiders (via CLE) - Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
The first QB coming off of the board is Shedeur Sanders, but it comes via trade by the desperate Las Vegas Raiders, who have somehow gotten worse after getting rid of Derek Carr, which is hilariously impressive. The Raiders have been circling the drain for years now, so they almost have no choice but to take Sanders or Cam Ward.
In this mock draft, they grab Sanders and perhaps do not feel the need to start him immediately. Aidan O'Connell could serve as a bridge QB if Sanders needs more time to get up to speed. The important thing here is that the Raiders did indeed get a QB they can at least try to develop. There is a good bit to like with Shedeur Sanders as a prospect.
3. New York Giants - Cam Ward, QB, Miami (FL)
At pick three in this NFL mock draft. the New York Giants grab Cam Ward from Miami (FL). The Giants have totally botched their QB position. The first huge mistake was extending Daniel Jones two offseasons ago. That was a four-year deal worth $160 million. It was a massive mistake that they could have fixed in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
When the Giants made their first-round pick in Malik Nabers, all of JJ McCarthy, Michael Penix Jr, and Bo Nix were still on the board. Why didn't New York pull the trigger? What were they thinking? Well, they may have one last shot, and luckily for them, Ward is on the board.
The New York Giants have been among the worst and most dysfunctional franchises in the NFL for years now, and that has only been amplified by the plethora of disastrous decisions made by General Manager Joe Schoen. Perhaps getting Cam Ward is a step in the right direction.
4. New England Patriots - Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
The New England Patriots get a prospect in Abdul Carter that many would consider to be the best player in the entire 2025 NFL Draft class. The Patriots made an excellent move this offseason when they parted ways with Jerod Mayo in favor of Mike Vrabel, a legitimate NFL head coach.
The Pats are absolutely a team that can be sneaky-good in the 2025 NFL Season, and while some may think the focus should be on the offense, them taking Carter at pick four cannot be passed up. New England is going to have a metric-ton of cap space in the offseason to try and shore up their offensive line and perhaps even pursue a top free agent like Tee Higgins.
Vrabel is going to want another pass rusher for his defense, so Abdul Carter makes all the sense in the world for this team.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars - Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a total mess, but they may have again gone backward into hiring someone they had high on their list to be their next head coach. The team’s decision to keep Trent Baalke as General Manager seemed to turn off some top candidates, but it was not until the Jags then fired Baalke after the fact that they swung back around to Liam Coen, who is now the team’s head coach.
It’s such an interesting situation that may ultimately work out for them. When you take a look at the roster, you have to give credit to Baalke for certain things. This is a bad team we are talking about, but in the weaker AFC South, they can absolutely get back into division contention in 2025 with the right pieces.
At pick five in the 2025 NFL Mock Draft, Mason Graham heads to Florida and plugs up the interior of the defensive line. The Jags do need a good bit of defensive help. So they get a ton of it with Graham.
6. Cleveland Browns (via LV) - Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
The Cleveland Browns did trade down with the Las Vegas Raiders in this NFL mock draft. The Browns have seen the Deshaun Watson trade totally blow up in their face. Watson somehow tore his Achilles again, so he may honestly never play another snap in the NFL. Cleveland is now left rebuilding and not having expected that.
With the trade down to pick six, the Browns nab Tet McMillan from Arizona. They can re-tool their WR room and build it up again. Amari Cooper is out of the equation, but the team did see a good bit of production from Jerry Jeudy in 2025. A new duo of McMillan and Jeudy could be something that their starting QB, whoever that may be, may fall in love with.
7. Los Angeles Chargers (via NYJ) - Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Major trade here inside the top 10! The Los Angeles Chargers of all teams decide to trade from the 20s into the single-digits for none other than Ashton Jeanty, the stud running back from Boise State. It’s a huge move for Jim Harbaugh’s squad and one that tells you just how all-in they are. The Chargers did get a good bit of production from JK Dobbins in the 2024 NFL Season, but Dobbins is a bit injury-prone.
I would personally consider RB to still be a need for this team, and in this mock draft, they get one in Jeanty, who was, by far, the most productive RB in college football in the 2024 season. Los Angeles would still be another playmaker away after this move, and they could look to find an answer at tight end.
With Ladd McConkey and now Ashton Jeanty, the Bolts are beginning to build something scary for opposing defenses. It’ll be interesting to see if Jeanty can bring that immediate production into the NFL, as one of the knocks on the RB is the lower competition he faced while at Boise State.
8. Carolina Panthers - Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
At pick eight, the Carolina Panthers unsurprisingly go after some pass rush help. They land Mykel Williams from Georgia in a predictable move. In the back-half of the 2024 NFL Season, the Panthers did see a noticeable improvement in play from Bryce Young, their second-year QB. He did play well enough for the Panthers to feel comfortable enough in bringing him back as the starter in 2025.
I would not be shocked if they did try to put some sort of QB plan in place after next year. Young still has to hit his stride, and just because he improved in play in 2024, does not mean he will in 2025. Anyway, one way to make life easier for the offense is if the defense is able to get off the field frequently. Mykel Williams can help them do that.
9. New Orleans Saints - Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
The New Orleans Saints are a total mess, and I think that is putting it lightly. They are again in cap hell and have needed to rebuild for multiple years. Heck, why did they sign Derek Carr? What were they thinking? It has been a disappointing few years for the Saints, and the downfall truly did begin when Drew Brees and Sean Payton both left.
GM Mickey Loomis is probably not someone who should be digging them out of this mess considering he got himself into it, but here we are. The Saints just aren’t an appealing team, and in the 2025 NFL Draft, they should simply hold out hope that a worthy player is waiting for them at pick nine.
They were able to grab Nic Scourton, a pass rusher from Texas A&M. If nothing else, the Saints adding to their trenches is a wise idea. Besides getting the QB right, the trenches are the next most important thing. It is a foregone conclusion that Carr isn’t going to be their long-term future, so they do have to figure out what to do at the most important position in all of sports.
10. Atlanta Falcons (via CHI) - James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee
The Atlanta Falcons are trading up with the Chicago Bears in this NFL mock draft. Atlanta takes James Pearce Jr from Tennessee in hopes that he can help out their weak defensive line. The Falcons’ defense was just embarrassing in 2024 if we are being honest. They have to add some reinforcements to the unit in free agency and in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Pearce Jr is able to get into the backfield at a high level, and that is a huge part of what this defense is missing. Offensively, the team is riding with Michael Penix Jr in 2025. If Penix Jr can make a year two leap and the defense has some new faces, the Falcons may actually be able to win the NFC South. It seems like a brutal time to be a Falcons’ fan, but there is a clear-cut path for this team to get back to winning.
11. San Francisco 49ers - Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
The San Francisco 49ers are in an interesting position. They just brought back Robert Saleh to be their defensive coordinator, which was the position he held before getting hired as head coach of the New York Jets. It is such a stellar move by both parties, and it leads me to believe the Niners do not want to entertain any idea of a rebuild.
With some of their key players getting older and hurt more, they should, but I do believe they will run it back yet again in 2025. That could lead to them being a bit aggressive in the offseason. One area on defense that they will need to address is cornerback, as Charvarius Ward is a free agent.
I mocked Will Johnson to the Niners here at pick 11. He is the best CB in the NFL Draft and could be a logical fit in San Fran. Heck, the Niners could even also bring back DJ Reed who played for Saleh many times before.
San Francisco will have to decide if they want to extend QB Brock Purdy and also have to see if guys like Christian McCaffrey and Brandon Aiyuk will be able to come back for the start of the 2025 NFL Season.
12. Dallas Cowboys - Luther Burden, WR, Missouri
At pick 12 in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft, the Dallas Cowboys take Luther Burden, a wide receiver from Missouri. The Cowboys are missing some juice at the WR position outside of CeeDee Lamb, and to me, and WR makes more sense for this team in the first round instead of a running back, which is also a need for this team.
The Cowboys are a mess, though - they let Mike McCarthy go very late in the process and do not appear to have a clue what they are doing with their current head coaching search. I guess hitting on some draft picks can make things easier for this team in 2025 and beyond.
And getting Dak Prescott back healthy and into the lineup will be huge. Prescott would love to have another stud WR to throw the ball to on offense.
13. Miami Dolphins - Kelvin Banks Jr, OT, Texas
The Miami Dolphins probably have to get some more beef in the trenches for the sake of protecting their QB and also to shed this reputation of not being able to play in the cold. Yes, the Dolphins tend to stink it up when it gets a little bit chilly outside.
Hitting on the trenches is a huge way for them to improve on these issues. I went with Kelvin Banks Jr here at pick 13 in this NFL mock draft. Banks might end up kicking inside to guard, but even if he can play tackle, he can satisfy a need for Miami. They again lost QB Tua Tagovailoa for some games in 2024 due to yet another concussion.
While Tagovailoa is a productive QB when on the field, he gets hurt too much and does not seem to be good enough to hang with the likes of Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, and others.
The Dolphins did extend him, so they are stuck with him, but shoring up the offensive line could actually give them a nice runway to potentially bring in another QB sometime in the near future - I just do not see how this team could keep trying to run it back with their current QB situation given the clear limitations.
14. Indianapolis Colts - Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
The Indianapolis Colts are a mess, but they do have a nice foundation. They are primarily a mess because they have a horrific QB situation and have not won much of anything in quite some time. Their secondary definitely needs some work, so at pick 14 in this NFL mock draft, top safety Malaki Starks heads to Indy. The Colts also have a clear-cut need at tight end as well.
GM Chris Ballard has his flaws for sure, and that’s reflected in his losing record as the Colts’ GM. Anthony Richardson really needs to make a huge leap in 2025 to get this franchise back on the right track, and if not, it could cost both Ballard and head coach Shane Steichen their jobs.
While you may think the Colts should take another weapon on offense with their first-round pick, shoring up the secondary is a must, and new defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo would surely appreciate some more talent on the backend.
15. Chicago Bears (via ATL) - Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama
The Chicago Bears are still able to snag a top OL prospect in Tyler Booker from Alabama. With Ben Johnson as their new head coach, there will be a huge emphasis on the offensive line. Booker is a great pick here.
16. Arizona Cardinals - Will Campbell, OT, LSU
The Arizona Cardinals simply need more talent on both sides of the ball. Their first pick here in this NFL mock draft is Will Campbell, the talented OL prospect from LSU.
17. Cincinnati Bengals - Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia
The Cincinnati Bengals have to work to shore up parts of their defense this coming offseason, and Jalon Walker is a perfect pick for them here at the no. 17 overall selection in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
18. Seattle Seahawks - Cameron Williams, OT, Texas
Seattle needs to fix their offensive line a bit, so I went with Cameron Williams from Texas. Geno Smith may or may not be their QB for the future, but in either scenario, the OL needs some work.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina
So, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers probably thought they were going to get Liam Coen back as their offensive coordinator, but that didn’t happen. In a shocking scenario that is quite uncommon in the NFL, Coen seemed to back off the Jacksonville Jaguars’ head coaching job due to Trent Baalke being the GM.
Well, when the Jags fired Baalke, the interest from Coen seemed to be there again. And after what appears to be Coen ghosting the Bucs, he is now in Jacksonville. Wow. The Buccaneers are now left without an offensive coordinator for the time being.
But that cannot distract them from their defensive needs, as Shavon Revel from East Carolina heads to Tampa at pick 19 in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft. The Bucs could very much use another body at CB, so the draft pick here is simply for need.
Tampa again won the NFC South in the 2024 NFL Season. That’s now four years in a row they have won the division and two times in a row in the Baker Mayfield era. With the division still appearing to be weak, the Bucs can still compete for the title in 2025.
20. Denver Broncos - Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
The Denver Broncos get themselves the perfect wide receiver for Bo Nix and the offense. Denver has their big-bodied “x’ target in Courtland Sutton and their gadget guy in Marvin Mims Jr. What they are missing is someone like Emeka Egbuka. He can slide into the “z” role for them, as he is a crafty route-runner with sure hands, and he can block.
Those qualities are what the Broncos are missing in the WR move, but the work can’t be done for Denver on offense. This team is also missing a true RB1 and a tight end that can actually catch passes consistently. Them getting to 10 wins in 2024 and making the postseason was flat-out incredible if you ask me.
Many people doubted the Denver Broncos in 2024 and thought this team was going to win three or four games, but here we are. Denver takes Emeka Egbuka at pick 20 in this NFL mock draft in what is a slam-dunk fit for both parties.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers - Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
The Pittsburgh Steelers absolutely need to get their secondary shored up this coming offseason, Benjamin Morrison is from a rugged and buttoned-up culture at Notre Dame and would be a perfect fit for the Steelers at pick 21. The biggest issue for the Steelers heading into this coming offseason is how they approach the QB room. In this mock draft, we have them staying put and not taking a first-round quarterback.
Could they address the room in another round, though?
22. New York Jets (via LAC) - Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
The New York Jets traded down with the Los Angeles Chargers and were still able to nab a huge piece for their offense. Tyler Warren is a stellar tight end and is going to be a huge boost at the position. It is not clear at the moment if Aaron Rodgers is going to return to the Jets’ sidelines in 2025. With the team making it official with Aaron Glenn, Glenn may want a bridge QB for a year.
Rodgers to Warren could be a problem for 2025.
23. Green Bay Packers - Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
The Green Bay Packers simply need more ‘elite’ players, as they have a lot of ‘good’ ones if that makes sense. This is a very deep team all throughout the roster, but they still feel a bit young and need some more top-end talent. We could argue that the Packers could go in a number of directions here in the first round.
Derrick Harmon feels like a good pick for them, as it’s never a bad thing to bolster the trenches. It honestly would not shock me to see the Packers trying to find a high-end wide receiver upgrade in 2025 and beyond. That could be a sneaky position they target with their first-round pick.
24. Minnesota Vikings - Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
At pick 24, the Minnesota Vikings continue laying the foundation for the long-term. This team is so well-run that they got elite production out of Sam Darnold in 2024. Darnold is probably hitting free agency, as the Vikings surely want to see what they have in JJ McCarthy, their 2024 NFL Draft rookie QB.
The Vikes do need another body or two in the secondary, so I went with one of the top safeties in Nick Emmanwori from South Carolina.
25. Houston Texans - Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
It is safe to say that the Houston Texans need to get some help along their offensive line. Josh Simmons is my pick for this team in the first round of this 2025 NFL Mock Draft. The Texans do need interior help more, but heck, would it hurt to plug Simmons into one of the guard spots? I get that he is a viable tackle prospect, but why not try him at guard as well?
Simmons is going to be a good pro and helps fill an area of need for Houston. CJ Stroud and the offense clearly took a step back in 2024, and the offensive line was most certainly to blame for some of that.
26. Los Angeles Rams - Harold Fannin Jr, TE, Bowling Green
The Los Angeles Rams may have Matthew Stafford for another year or two, so running it back yet again does not hurt. The cool thing with the Rams is that they have been getting some immediate production from their rookie classes in recent years, so they are both competing in the present and building for the future.
Harold Fannin Jr is a top tight end prospect and heads to LA at pick 26. The Rams having better injury luck in 2025 could really thrust this team into legitimate contender status once again.
27. Baltimore Ravens - Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
At pick 27, the Baltimore Ravens take Jihaad Campbell, a top ILB prospect from Alabama. Baltimore again failed to get it done in the postseason; the last time this team won multiple games in the playoffs was all the way back in 2012 when they won the Super Bowl.
I do think we have to start talking about John Harbaugh, but I digress. Campbell heads to Baltimore to beef-up their defense.
28. Detroit Lions - Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State
Pick 28 of this 2025 NFL Mock Draft has the Detroit Lions taking Tyleik Williams from Ohio State. Detroit endured a shocking amount of defensive injuries this past season, and if you ask me, they do need more defensive help than offensive. With that said, the Lions did lose both their OC and DC to head coaching jobs, so I would expect GM Brad Holmes to again load up on talent on both sides of the ball to try and ease the blow from losing Aaron Glenn and Ben Johnson.
29. Washington Commanders - Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
How about this pick for the Washington Commanders? Colston Loveland heads to the team here at pick 29 in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft. The team could certainly bring Zach Ertz back in 2025, but getting another weapon for Jayden Daniels is a must.
The Commanders are kind of playing with house money in 2024, so this coming offseason is going to be all about loading up. Heck, Jayden Daniels may be a top-8 QB already, and the Washington Commanders are just one win away from making the Super Bowl.
The Super Bowl!
Loveland is a plus-receiver at the position and has some nice YAC ability. This is a stellar pick for the Commanders.
30. Buffalo Bills - Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss
The Buffalo Bills get stouter in the trenches with Walter Nolen at pick 30. Buffalo did go under a bit of roster re-tooling this past offseason, and I was even in the camp thinking that they were going to decline a bit, and boy was I wrong. We shall see if the Bills can get past the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL playoffs to make the Super Bowl.
Next offseason will again see the Bills try to add the right pieces to maintain their status atop the AFC East and atop the AFC. Is this the year that the Bills get past the Chiefs in the postseason?
31. Philadelphia Eagles - Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
The Philadelphia Eagles take another defensive lineman in the NFL Draft. The team could lose Milton Williams and Josh Sweat in free agency this coming offseason, so it could be a hidden need for Howie Roseman, who has always done a top-tier job of building up the trenches.
Kenneth Grant is one of the best defensive tackle prospects in the country and heads to Philly.
32. Kansas City Chiefs - Jonah Savaiinaea, OT, Arizona
At the bottom of the first round, the Kansas City Chiefs take Jonah Savaiinaea from Arizona. He may kick inside to guard at the next level, but they still should try him at tackle first. Joe Thuney is getting old and Trey Smith is a free agent, and with their instability at both tackle spots, you can easily see why OL is a need for KC.
33. Cleveland Browns - Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
The Cleveland Browns take Omarion Hampton from North Carolina at the top of the second round of this 2025 NFL Mock Draft. With the Browns probably not bringing Nick Chubb back, it would make sense for the team to bring in another RB who can be their primary RB for the long-term.
In their quest to rebuild after the dreaded Deshaun Watson trade, the Browns must pay attention to all of their needs. They cannot just focus on one side of the ball. Omarion Hampton is a solid pick for the franchise. Little by little, they can get out of this.
34. New York Giants - Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss
At pick 34, the New York Giants select Tre Harris from Ole Miss. After getting Cam Ward in the first round, the Giants continue to hammer away at the rest of their offensive needs. I would not have hated a pick along the offensive line here, but you can’t go wrong with the talented Harris.
You do get the feeling that Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll are on their last chance. Fielding a competent offense and showing signs of gradual progress with a rookie QB could be what allows them to keep their jobs into 2026 and beyond.
I simply do not think Schoen is nearly a good enough GM to dig them out of this, but I guess you just never know.
35. Tennessee Titans - Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama
Quarterback! The Tennessee Titans take Jalen Milroe at the top of the second round in this NFL mock draft. The team did take Travis Hunter with the first overall pick, so being able to get Milroe here in the second round does feel like better value than if they would have taken Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward with that pick.
New Titans’ GM Mike Borgonzi has worked with the Kansas City Chiefs’ organization for years, so you have to think he could have a decent feeling about what a high-end franchise QB can do for a team…
Jalen Milroe heads to Tennessee.
36. Jacksonville Jaguars - Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss
The Jacksonville Jaguars have had quite and interesting offseason thus far. They did have flat-out awful play from their cornerbacks in the 2024 NFL Season. And I think that is understating it, honestly. The Jags do have a solid roster and are not far off. A strong free agency period and good NFL Draft can have this team back in contention for the AFC South title, the division they won just two years ago.
37. New England Patriots - Xavier Restrepo, WR, Miami, (FL)
The New England Patriots do need someone like Xavier Restrepo in their WR room. The team parted ways with Jerod Mayo after just one season and brought in Mike Vrabel, who is a slam-dunk hire and a sure-thing at the head coach position.
The Pats have some work to do along their offensive line and within the WR unit. I would expect New England to sign a FA or two along the OL and perhaps look to the 2025 NFL Draft to cap that unit off while also adding some players at WR.
Restrepo is a sensational route-runner and could develop an early connection with Drake Maye with his strong ability to separate.
38. New York Jets - Jahdae Barron, S, Texas
Jahdae Barron heads to the New York Jets here in the second round. With the Jets hiring a former defensive back in Aaron Glenn as their head coach, I would be shocked if they did not add a DB with one of their first picks.
Glenn brings a strong command of the defense and is very well-respected. Robert Saleh kind of had the same makeup, so we will see if anything different changes. Barron seems to be able to play all over the secondary, which could be a huge get for the type of defense that Glenn likes to run.
39. Cleveland Browns (via LV) - Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall
The Cleveland Browns bolster their pass rush and take Mike Green from Marshall at pick 39. They have now taken a WR, RB, and EDGE with their first three picks, so they are hitting on some valuable positions. In this scenario where Cleveland has not taken a QB, you would expect them to perhaps look to the FA market for a one-year stopgap option to allow them to further assess the room following the 2025 NFL Season.
40. New Orleans Saints - Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
The New Orleans Saints take Armand Membou with their second-round in the 2025 NFL Draft. We have bashed the Saints plenty enough times here, so I do not need to repeat myself.
We’ll see how good the Saints are in 2025. This is going to be a multi-year process for them to get back into contention.
41. Chicago Bears - Wyatt Milum, OG, West Virginia
The Chicago Bears are clearly not messing around with their offensive line, as they take Wyatt Milum from West Virginia at pick 41 in this NFL mock draft. The Bears have now nearly totally remade their interior OL with Tyler Booker and now Milum. This would obviously to back to Ben Johnson being the new head coach.
Johnson enjoyed a ton of success with the Lions as their offensive coordinator, and the single-best part of that Lions’ unit was their top offensive line. If Johnson and GM Ryan Poles cannot field an above-average OL, I am not sure they would be doing Caleb Williams any favors.
42. Chicago Bears - Landon Jackson, EDGE, Arkansas
The Bears have two picks in a row here in the second round. This time they focus on the defensive side of the ball and take Landon Jackson from Arkansas. It does feel like this team is missing one more pass rusher, so the hope here is that Jackson can form a nice pass rush duo alongside Montez Sweat, who they traded for last offseason.
Chicago is clearly serious about rebuilding their team.
43. San Francisco 49ers - Josh Conerly Jr, OT, Oregon
The San Francisco 49ers take Josh Conerly Jr from Oregon at pick 43. This would be a wise pick, as the Niners could use a long-term LT replacement after Trent Williams and also could use some RT help.
San Fran has constantly fielded top-tier rosters in recent years, but for whatever reason, they never have had a top-tier offensive line. Maybe this time around after a down year will change things.
44. Dallas Cowboys - Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa
The Dallas Cowboys keep up on the offensive side of the ball and take Kaleb Johnson from Iowa. Dallas is a clown show at the moment if we are being honest, but they are clearly investing into the offense at positions of need, and you can’t fault them for that.
45. Indianapolis Colts - Jaxon Dart, QB, Ole Miss
The Indianapolis Colts put a more concrete plan in place and take Jaxon Dart from Ole Miss in the second round, and this is not a bad selection by any means. With how dreadfully awful Anthony Richardson has been in his two years in the NFL, you would think that Indy does want to put some pressure behind him.
I am not sure Richardson is going to come close to being a franchise QB, but I guess that’s the point here. Indy does largely have a solid roster overall, and could be a QB away depending on who you ask. Dart will compete with Richardson in 2025 for the starting role.
46. Chicago Bears (via ATL) - Deone Walker, DT, Kentucky
Yet another pick in the second round for the Chicago Bears has them taking Deone Walker from Kentucky, and this is clearly a ‘trenches’ draft for the Bears. It’s got to be a breath of fresh air if this mock were to come to life. Chicago has to make a good bit of progress in the offseason to compete in the NFC North, and no matter what, games in the NFL are usually won and lost at QB and in the trenches.
I do believe the Bears have the QB, so if they can improve the trenches, watch out. Walker heads to Chicago inn this NFL mock draft.
47. Arizona Cardinals - Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
The Arizona Cardinals continue to stack talent in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft and take Shemar Stewart from Texas A&M, who I have seen people call more of a ‘tools’ prospect. The Cards are not far away from competing - I have maintained that this team is set at QB and with their coaching staff.
It’s just a talent issue at this point. GM Monti Ossenfort has to get more talent on his roster.
48. Miami Dolphins - Princely Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss
The Miami Dolphins take pass rusher Princely Umanmielen at pick 48. Seeing as neither Bradley Chubb nor Jaelan Phillips can stay healthy, it would make some sense for the Dolphins to turn the page on that duo. They got some nice production from 2024 rookie Chop Robinson and look to see if they can get something similar with Umanmielen.
I guess Miami could be a viable team if they toughen up on the inside, but I would not hold my breath there.
49. Cincinnati Bengals - Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford
With the possibility of losing Tee Higgins in free agency, the Cincinnati Bengals take WR Elic Ayomanor from Stanford here in the second round of this NFL mock draft.
50. Seattle Seahawks - Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame
The Seattle Seahawks further bolster their secondary for Mike Macdonald and snag Xavier Watts from Notre Dame at pick 50.
51. Denver Broncos - Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State
The Denver Broncos took WR Emeka Egbuka in the first round of this 2025 NFL Mock Draft. That was a great move for the team to give the offense and Bo Nix a missing piece at WR. Egbuka fits their offense like a glove.
Well here in round two, the Broncos come away with one of the top RB prospects in Quinshon Judkins from Ohio State. It became clear quite early on in the 2024 NFL Season that Denver did not have a competent RB1 on the roster, and while head coach Sean Payton loves his RB by committee approach, he still does need a back capable of being efficient while carrying the ball 200+ times in a season.
A running back rotation headlined by Judkins and their other backs in Audric Estime and Jaleel McLaughlin could give them a fierce RB rotation. Javonte Williams is set to be a free agent in 2025 and is really only useful in pass protection. He’s not a good running back but offers other value.
Denver has to do whatever it takes to make life easier for Bo Nix in a crucial year two. We have seen many of the best QBs in the NFL today take huge leaps in their second year. And for the Denver Broncos, they could truly put the league on notice in 2025 if they had the right offseason.
Getting a wide receiver and running back with their first two picks is a great start.
52. Pittsburgh Steelers - Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota
The Pittsburgh Steelers again hammer away at their offensive line and take Aireontae Ersery from Minnesota. They used top picks last year on Troy Fautanu and Zach Frazier, so the Steelers truly aren’t messing around along the offensive line.
They haven’t really fielded a notable offensive line in a good while, so this pick would not be much of a shock, and no matter if Justin Fields or Russell Wilson is their QB1 in 2025, they will need to surround them with a top OL.
Both Fields and Wilson take a ton of sacks, and that’s just the type of QB they play. But you do have to wonder if those sack totals can come down with an elite offensive line.
53. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - JT Tuimoloau, EDGE, Ohio State
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers take JT Tuimoloau from Ohio State here in the second round. They grabbed CB Shavon Revel in the first round, so it’s easy to see what side of the ball this team is focusing on. The Bucs went 10-7 in 2024 and won the NFC South. The huge story here with this team is losing Liam Coen to the Jaguars’ head coaching job. Chris Godwin is also a free agent and will be coming off of a dislocated ankle. There is some uncertainty on offense going into 2025.
It would not shock me to see the Bucs actually flip the script in the 2025 NFL Draft and build up the offense. We have gone defense thus far for Tampa.
54. Green Bay Packers - Donovan Jackson, OG, Ohio State
The Green Bay Packers keep up with their trenches-focused 2025 NFL Draft and take Donovan Jackson from Ohio State. He’s a guard and looks to bolster the Packers’ interior offensive line. Green Bay is a good-not-great team and will, as we said, need to find some truly elite talent to really make a jump.
And now with the Chicago Bears hiring Ben Johnson to be their next head coach, the NFC North surely got that much tighter. Green Bay won 11 games in 2024 but lost in the Wild Card Round, so they do have some tough questions to answer.
55. New York Jets (via LAC) - Emery Jones, OT, LSU
The New York Jets have the 55th pick in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft and take OT Emery Jones from LSU. The Jets are clearly focusing on the offense in this mock draft. They grabbed Tyler Warren in the first round, used their first second-round pick on Jahdae Barron, a defensive back, but are doubling-down on offense.
Aaron Glenn is their new head coach and will probably need to focus more on the offensive side of the ball in his first NFL Draft. His defensive expertise is off the charts, and I think we all saw just how broken the Jets’ offense was in 2025.
The Jets grab Emery Jones in a move to boost their offensive line.
56. Buffalo Bills - Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky
The Buffalo Bills take CB Maxwell Hairston from Kentucky at pick 56. Many of us were flat-out wrong about the Bills coming into 2025. They are now set to play the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game with a trip to Super Bowl 59 on the line.
Buffalo is fielding an elite offense and elite defense. This does afford them to go in a number of different directions in the NFL Draft. We’ve opted for a more defensive-focused mock draft here.
57. Carolina Panthers - Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas
The Carolina Panthers may have something cooking with Bryce Young. He definitely benefitted from the benching in the middle of the 2024 NFL Season. We saw the Panthers help out their pass rush in the first round of this mock draft. They will now address the offensive side of the ball and take Isaiah Bond from Texas.
I would expect Carolina to be players for guys like Tee Higgins and Chris Godwin, and it really would not shock me if they were able to get one of them. Young is still on his rookie deal, and if he can make another leap into being a franchise QB in 2025, Carolina would be in great shape. The NFC South is extremely winnable, so do not rule this team out.
58. Houston Texans - Marcus Mbow, OT, Purdue
The Houston Texans again address their offensive line. We saw them perhaps shockingly fire former offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik. I guess the team’s offense just did not make a big enough leap for them to keep Slowik around.
This offense is quite talented on paper, but no one is disputing their need for help along the offensive line, so Purdue tackle Marcus Mbow is the pick here with the 58th overall selection.
Year three of the CJ Stroud era is going to be flat-out huge for this franchise.
59. Baltimore Ravens - Darien Porter, CB, Iowa State
The Baltimore Ravens take CB Darien Porter from Iowa State at pick 59 in this NFL mock draft. We saw this team again win only won playoff game - they fell to the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round and just have not been able to get over the hump.
The best thing they can do in the meantime is again try to load up with as much talent as possible, so Porter is the pick here to bolster their defense. If you ask me, the Ravens have a coaching issue…
60. Detroit Lions - Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
The Detroit Lions take Matthew Golden at pick 60 in this 2025 NFL mock draft. Losing Ben Johnson to the Chicago Bears is going to hurt. And oh yeah, they also lost Aaron Glenn to the New York Jets. Detroit is an obvious candidate to regress in 2025, and I do think they will.
Coaching is probably more important than roster talent, so Dan Campbell is going to have to knock these coordinator hires out of the park. After they do that, they can continue adding the best players available.
61. Washington Commanders - Barrett Carter, LB, Clemson
How about the Washington Commanders? Set to play in the NFC Championship Game, they will head into the 2025 NFL Offseason with a ton of cap space and the ability to do just about whatever they want in the 2025 NFL Mock Draft. In the first round, they went with Colston Loveland from Michigan.
Here in the second round, they go with Barrett Carter, the linebacker from Clemson. The Commanders do have Bobby Wagner and Frankie Luvu in the middle of their defense, but with Wagner’s age, it might be wise to bring in a younger player at the position.
62. Buffalo Bills - Savion Williams, WR, TCU
The Buffalo Bills take Savion Williams from TCU at the bottom of the second round. He is a massive 6’5” target who hauled in 60 receptions for 611 yards and six touchdowns in 2024 for the Horned Frogs. He also added 322 rushing yards and another six scores, so he’s got some unlikely rushing ability as well.
Another big-bodied target for Josh Allen sees the Bills continue to bring in young players into the offense.
63. Philadelphia Eagles - Mason Taylor, TE, LSU
The Philadelphia Eagles take TE Mason Taylor from LSU at pick 63 in this NFL mock draft. In 2024, Taylor caught 55 receptions for 546 yards, so he was productive. The Eagles are always loading up on offense, and if you ask me, they have to as long as Jalen Hurts is their QB.
Philly is playing in the NFC Championship Game against the Washington Commanders and could make their second Super Bowl in three seasons.
64. Kansas City Chiefs - Kevin Winston Jr, S, Penn State
The Kansas City Chiefs have found a lot of luck with mid and late-round defensive backs. This time, they will take a DB in the second round. They grab Kevin Winston Jr from Penn State. The Chiefs’ defense has been solid for years now, but they could afford to bring in another DB. Safety Justin Reid is a free agent in 2025 as well.
The Chiefs also traded L’Jarius Sneed to the Tennessee Titans last year, so this secondary could look a lot different in 2025 from how it has in previous seasons.
There you have it, our latest two-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
