The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft is in the books, and it delivered on the promised chaos. The NFL Draft is always unpredictable, which is why we love it, but there were some really fun trades in round one and fascinating team-player fits.
Our next 2025 NFL Mock Draft -- in case you thought they were done -- is going to look at the entirety of Day 2. We're predicting both the second and third rounds in this mock draft scenario with a short night for Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, some teams that didn't pick in the 1st round finally getting on the board, and a lot of running backs getting picked.
Let's get into the 2nd and 3rd round mock draft madness with lots of talented players still on the board.
2025 NFL Mock Draft: Full 2nd-Round Predictions
33. Cleveland Browns: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
The Browns have been willing to invest in players from the Michigan program, and whatever injury issue Will Johnson is dealing with, he’s too good of a value here. The Browns reunite him with Mason Graham.
34. Houston Texans: Luther Burden, WR, Missouri
After losing Stefon Diggs in NFL Free Agency, there is a hole at receiver looming in Houston. Especially with Tank Dell recovering from injury again, this could be a gift from the football gods.
35. Tennessee Titans: Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College
The Titans have traditionally gone receiver here in my 2025 NFL mock draft scenarios but Donovan Ezeiruaku is too good off the edge to pass on.
36. Cleveland Browns: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
The Browns could just as easily go Sanders with the 33rd overall pick to prevent any other team from jumping them. If they truly want Sanders, they might swap places with the two picks we have here in round two.
37. Las Vegas Raiders: Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss
The Ashton Jeanty pick is really fun, but the Raiders absolutely have a lot more work to do when it comes to getting building blocks on either side of the ball. The secondary needs to be completely redone.
38. New England Patriots: Carson Schwesinger, LB, UCLA
The Patriots get one of the top tackling machines in all of college footbal and an NFL-ready player who is going to fly around for Mike Vrabel sideline-to-sideline.
39. Chicago Bears: TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State
The Bears got their version of Sam LaPorta in the 1st round with the Colston Loveland pick, and here they get their version of Jahmyr Gibbs for new head coach Ben Johnson.
40. New Orleans Saints: Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall
Despite the fact that he comes with some serious off-field concerns, Mike Green is too good of an EDGE player to pass on for the Saints here. Someone has to have cleared Green’s off-field issues and will get a steal in the second round.
41. Chicago Bears: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
Surprisingly, the ultra-athletic safety prospect out of South Carolina fell to the second round. The Bears would love to add his talent to their secondary.
42. New York Jets: Mason Taylor, TE, LSU
Jason Taylor played most of his NFL career with the Miami Dolphins, but he had a cup of coffee with the Jets. Now, his son starts off his career with the Jets and becomes a key weapon for Justin Fields.
43. San Francisco 49ers: Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina
The 49ers took a bit of a calculated risk in the 1st round with Mykel Williams, who flashed #1 pick stuff last year despite dealing with injuries. Here, they get a guy who could have been CB1 in the class were it not for an injury.
44. Dallas Cowboys: Jayden Higgins, WR, Iowa State
Maybe the Cowboys really do like their running backs right now. They could go out and upgrade the wide receiver position opposite CeeDee Lamb and Jayden Higgins has drawn comparisons to Nico Collins.
45. Indianapolis Colts: Landon Jackson, EDGE, Arkansas
The Indianapolis Colts scored pretty big in the first round with the addition of Penn State tight end Tyler Warren. Here, they get the ultra-athletic Landon Jackson, who could provide a spark off the edge.
46. Los Angeles Rams: Azaraye’h Thomas, CB, Florida State
After trading down from the 26th overall pick, the Rams might be plotting something at the quarterback position for 2026. For the time being, they get yet another player from the Florida State defense, this time looking at Azaraye’h Thomas in the secondary.
47. Arizona Cardinals: Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
The Arizona Cardinals boosted their interior pass rush in the first round, and they go after one of the top edge rushers on the board here in round two in Nic Scourton, who is one of the younger players in this draft class.
48. Miami Dolphins: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
Benjamin Morrison was looking like he was on his way to a sure-fire top-10 NFL Draft status at the end of the 2023 season. Unfortunately, he’s fallen off a bit. The Dolphins could be trading Jalen Ramsey this weekend and need all the help they can get.
49. Cincinnati Bengals: Darius Alexander, DL, Toledo
The Bengals need to continue upgrading their defensive front. I wouldn’t be shocked by another EDGE player here if there is even a remote chance they trade Trey Hendrickson. Darius Alexander can give you a pass rush threat from the interior.
50. Seattle Seahawks: Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss
The Seahawks traded away DK Metcalf this offseason and while they have talent at receiver, another playmaker with size couldn’t hurt. Tre Harris was the only receiver in college football this past season to have over 1,000 yards on less than 80 touches.
51. Denver Broncos: Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State
The Denver Broncos passed on running backs and offensive weapons in round one, but they’re going to get help at running back in round 2 or 3. Quinshon Judkins has all of the makings of a big-time featured back in the NFL.
52. Seattle Seahawks: Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama
Mike Macdonald came to the Seahawks from the Baltimore Ravens, where he obviously became very familiar with Lamar Jackson. Jalen Mlroe might not be Lamar Jackson exactly, but he has those same dynamic traits as a runner.
53. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: JT Tuimoloau, EDGE, Ohio State
The Bucs zigged when everyone thought they would zag in the first round, taking a receiver. They need to get some more help at all three levels of defense and JT Tuimoloau can provide some juice off the edge.
54. Green Bay Packers: Princely Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss
The Packers love adding big, athletic guys from the SEC and Princely Umanmielen could be a nice value for them here. Don’t be shocked to see them take multiple corners on Day 2, either.
55. Los Angeles Chargers: TJ Sanders, DL, South Carolina
The Chargers doubled down on the running back position with Najee Harris and first-rounder Omarion Hampton. They’re going to be physical offensively but they need to get tougher on the interior defensive line. TJ Sanders will help.
56. Buffalo Bills: Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame
We already saw the Buffalo Bills go after a cornerback in round one to upgrade a secondary that needed a makeover, and I would not be shocked if they double up there or go after the best safety on their board here.
57. Carolina Panthers: Oluwafemi Oladejo, EDGE, UCLA
I love that the Panthers went after a big-bodied receiver to help out Bryce Young in the first round, but this team needs critical mass defensively. Their personnel is horrendous on that side of the ball. Get someone who can get after the QB.
58. Houston Texans: Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota
The Houston Texans have to add to the offensive line in this draft. It wasn’t shocking to see them move out of round 1 entirely but they passed on some players who could legitimately help them immediately.
59. Baltimore Ravens: Alfred Collins, DL, Texas
The Baltimore Ravens get themselves another big-time value here at the back end of round two, adding a pocket-collapsing defensive lineman in Alfred Collins to supplement the Malaki Starks pick in round one.
60. Detroit Lions: Marcus Mbow, OL, Purdue
After getting tougher on the interior defensive line in round one, the Detroit Lions address a need on the interior offensive line in round two. Marcus Mbow is a versatile player who could start right away at guard.
61. Washington Commanders: Jordan Burch, EDGE, Oregon
The Commanders went with an Oregon Ducks player in the first round (Josh Conerly) and they stick with the Ducks program here in round two. Dan Quinn likes the “tweener” types of players and Burch could play all over his defensive front.
62. Buffalo Bills: Jack Sawyer, EDGE, Ohio State
The Buffalo Bills need to get more guys who can cause havoc off the edge, and Jack Sawyer will not only be a great player for this locker room but he can be a “bat out of hell” as a pass rusher.
63. Kansas City Chiefs: Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa
The Chiefs have Isiah Pacheco and a bunch of old guys at running back. It’s time to upgrade that position. Kaleb Johnson in this Chiefs offense might be a cheat code.
64. Philadelphia Eagles: Shemar Turner, DL, Texas A&M
The Eagles landed Jihaad Campbell in the first round of this draft and they are not done adding to the defensive front seven. Shemar Turner will help them replace Milton Williams.
2025 NFL Mock Draft: Full 3rd-Round Predictions
65. New York Giants: Omarr Norman-Lott, DL, Tennessee
66. Kansas City Chiefs: Jonah Savaiinaea, OL, Arizona
67. Cleveland Browns: Dylan Sampson, RB, Tennessee
68. Las Vegas Raiders: Joshua Farmer, DL, Florida State
69. New England Patriots: Jack Bech, WR, TCU
70. Jacksonville Jaguars: Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami
71. New Orleans Saints: Tyler Shough, QB, Louisville
72. Chicago Bears: Bradyn Swinson, EDGE, LSU
73. New York Jets: Jaylin Noel, WR, Iowa State
74. Carolina Panthers: Darien Porter, CB, Iowa State
75. San Francisco 49ers: Demetrius Knight, LB, South Caroina
76. Dallas Cowboys: DJ Giddens, RB, Kansas State
77. New England Patriots: Josaiah Stewart, EDGE, Michigan
78. Arizona Cardinals: Kyle Williams, WR, Washington State
79. Houston Texans: Tate Ratledge, OL, Georgia
80. Indianapolis Colts: Jared Wilson, IOL, Georgia
81. Cincinnati Bengals: Andrew Mukuba, S, Texas
82. Seattle Seahawks: Kevin Winston Jr., S, Penn State
83. Pittsburgh Steelers: Cam Skattebo, RB, Arizona State
84. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Billy Bowman, S, Oklahoma
85. Denver Broncos: Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Bowling Green
86. Los Angeles Chargers: Terrance Ferguson, TE, Oregon
87. Green Bay Packers: Jacob Parrish, CB, Kansas State
88. Jacksonville Jaguars: Ozzy Trapilo, OT, Boston College
89. Houston Texans: Ty Robinson, DL, Nebraska
90. Los Angeles Rams: Savion Williams, WR, TCU
91. Baltimore Ravens: Kyle Kennard, EDGE, South Carolina
92. Seattle Seahawks: Charles Grant, OL, William & Mary
93. New Orleans Saints: Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford
94. Cleveland Browns: Ashton Gillotte, EDGE, Louisville
95. Kansas City Chiefs: Ty Hamilton, DL, Ohio State
96. Philadelphia Eagles: Jalen Royals, WR, Utah State
97. Minnesota Vikings: Nohl Williams, CB, Cal
98. Miami Dolphins: Damien Martinez, RB, Miami
99. Houston Texans: Thomas Fidone, TE, Nebraska
100. San Francisco 49ers: Anthony Belton, OT, NC State
101. Atlanta Falcons: Quincy Riley, CB, Louisville
102. Detroit Lions: Wyatt Milum, OL, West Virginia
With uncertainty surrounding quarterback Derek Carr, the New Orleans Saints have to get a quarterback at some point, right? The Falcons aren't going to trade them Kirk Cousins, right?
Luckily, Tyler Shough is still available in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft scenario, giving the Saints at least an interesting option along with Spencer Rattler. Shough could end up going a lot higher than this (maybe even to the Saints in the second round) but if he's there in the third, it would be a worthwhile dart throw for a team like New Orleans.
One of the more underrated losses for the 49ers this offseason was the loss of linebacker Dre Greenlaw. Greenlaw was a huge component of that defense and I think Robert Saleh was excited to have him back in the fold, but he chose to leave for the Denver Broncos. So in this mock draft, the 49ers get South Carolina's tackling machine Demetrius Knight.
The Broncos and Chargers competed for tight ends in NFL Free Agency. Well, to be clear, they competed for Evan Engram. And the Broncos beat the Chargers out for him. Both of these teams still need help at the position, and both of them get some really fun players here in the third round with Harold Fannin going to Denver and Terrance Ferguson heading to the Chargers.
