Let's make some bold predictions and predict who the top-10 quarterbacks will be at the end of the 2025 NFL Season. There are a ton of quarterbacks who could breakout in 2025 and play better than they did in 2024.

On the flip side, there are passers who could be set up to regress or endure a brutal season in some other capacity. Playing QB in the NFL is the hardest thing to do in sports and is really the one position that has the biggest impact on a team's success.

We tried to predict who the top-10 QBs would be at the end of the 2025 NFL Season. Let's get into the rankings here.

NFL Predictions: Top-10 QB hierarchy at season's end in 2025

10. Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield did throw for 4,500 yards and 41 touchdown passes in the 2024 NFL Season, and while I could see a regression coming, what if Mayfield just keeps it up? The Buccaneers have a great running back, top offensive line, and a deep WR room as well. There really isn't much they are missing.

Another NFC South title could be in view, and Mayfield could continue his slow ascension atop the QB hierarchy in the NFL. Could Mayfield end the year as the 10th-best passer in the NFL?

9. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love has been on the cusp of breaking out, and while he was good in 2024, it felt like the big jump just did not happen. Well, the 2025 NFL Season could be where it happens - Love will be entering his third year as a starting QB in the NFL. He's got a new weapon on offense in Matthew Golden, and the run game with Josh Jacobs promises to be great.

Love staying healthy for a full season would also help, as the young QB does have the complete skillset to be one of the best in the NFL, so it may only be a matter of time before he breaks out and cracks into the top-10.

8. Bo Nix, Denver Broncos

Bo Nix threw zero touchdowns against four interceptions over his first two NFL games, but in the remaining 15 games, not only did the Denver Broncos go 10-5, but Nix threw 29 touchdowns against just eight interceptions. Over his final eight games of 2024, he was on a 45-touchdown pace, which is elite production.

There isn't any reason to believe that Nix can't explode in 2025. Sure, you might want to see more, but what are the Denver Broncos missing on offense? The additions of JK Dobbins and RJ Harvey are going to make life a lot easier for the passing game, and Denver is also returning all five OL starters from 2024.

7. CJ Stroud, Houston Texans

CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans endured a tougher year in 2024, but an overhauled offensive line could help stabilize things. Furthermore, Stroud was flirting with top-10 status during his breakout season in 2023, so it's not like he's new to playing like a top QB. Him enduring a down year in 2024 could also help him develop - he got a taste of what it's like to struggle. The Houston Texans could be a powerhouse in 2025, and CJ Stroud could play a huge part in that.

6. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams

Matthew Stafford is about in this spot right now. And while he is getting up there in age, he's really shown no signs of slowing down, so there isn't any reason in my eyes to rank him lower. I guess Father Time could always catch up to the veteran QB, but I think it still has another year or two. Stafford now also has Davante Adams in the picture along with Puka Nacua and Kyren Williams.

The offensive line is a top-12 unit on paper as well. Don't be surprised to see the LA Rams and Matthew Stafford near the top of the NFL yet again.

5. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen won the MVP in the 2024 NFL Season, but I thought Lamar Jackson was a lot better and a lot more deserving. Allen is likely going to again play quite well, but he's always had a slight interception problem, and while that went away in 2024, there's reason to believe it'll come back since it's been a consistent trend throughout his career.

Allen should still be top-tier, though.

4. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

Jared Goff was an MVP candidate in the 2024 NFL Season and has just been around the block in the NFL. Fourth might be a bit too rich in the eyes of some for Goff, but he's an elite pocket passer and has been surgical during his time with the Detroit Lions.

During his career in Detroit, Goff has thrown 115 touchdowns against 39 interceptions for a ridiculously efficient 100.2 passer rating. During this four-year stretch, he averages 30 touchdowns and 10 interceptions over a 17-game season.

3. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow threw for 43 touchdown passes against just eight interceptions in the 2024 NFL Season. He completed over 70% of his passes and helped WR Ja'Marr Chase win the triple crown. One big reason to believe in Burrow again is the likely emergence of Chase Brown, their starting RB who is honestly a bit underrated.

Burrow is also just plainly a great quarterback and is going to produce at a high level even if their defense is bad yet again.

2. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders

Jayden Daniels was an elite quarterback when 2024 ended, so he'll remain an elite QB in 2025. I can see a sophomore slump happening, but what if it doesn't? What if Daniels and the Washington Commanders continue to put the NFL on notice? The young QB proved he can hurt teams with his arm and his legs, and that is a deadly combination.

The Commanders could vault into Super Bowl contention and see their young QB ascend a bit more.

1. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson should have won the MVP award in the 2024 NFL Season. Not only was he again elite with his legs, but he threw 41 touchdown passes against just four interceptions.

Four!

Folks, we are witnessing an all-time great, and with both sides of the ball improving this offseason, I would be flat-out shocked if Jackson didn't have another MVP-caliber season in 2025. You can bank on it.
