Hundreds of different predictions and thought exercises have finally come down to the final countdown for the 2026 NFL Draft. Soon, we'll no longer be predicting the picks but reacting to what teams actually did, which will be a huge relief to everybody (before the 2027 NFL Mock Draft madness begins).

Every 2026 NFL mock draft scenario up to this point has been exactly that: A thought exercise. As great as it would be to predict every pick and be able to say we "called it", the reality is that nobody really knows what is going to happen in the draft, which is what makes it so exciting and fun. Case in point, we had to update nearly a dozen picks after the trade between the Giants and Bengals for Dexter Lawrence went down. You just never know when one move will change everything.

So that's what we're going to do in this full 7-round 2026 NFL mock draft: We're going to have some fun. We've got a ton of different scenarios to look at, a couple of massive trades going down in the 1st round, and some new prospect-team fits that could flip some pre-draft narratives and storylines on their head. We've got 257 picks to predict, so buckle in and stay tuned at the end for a breakdown of every team's draft class.

2026 NFL Mock Draft: Chiefs, Cowboys make huge trades up in 7-round predictions

1. Las Vegas Raiders: Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

There will be no surprises at the top of the 2026 NFL Draft. We know who the Raiders are taking and building their franchise around. Fernando Mendoza might not be the most spectacular prospect we've seen come along, but he is a good fit in Klint Kubiak's scheme and has a great mentor in-house with Kirk Cousins coming aboard.

2. New York Jets: Arvell Reese, LB/EDGE, Ohio State

The Jets seem to be picking between Arvell Reese and David Bailey at this point, and everyone seems split about which direction they'll ultimately end up taking. Reese is younger at this point and Jets GM Darren Mougey has seen firsthand through another tweener-type (coming out of college, anyway) in Von Miller what a prospect like Reese can do at the NFL level with the proper usage and coaching.

3. Kansas City Chiefs (from Cardinals): David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech

Our first blockbuster trade of this mock draft scenario puts the Chiefs on the clock at pick #3 overall. I would say whether it's David Bailey on the board or Arvell Reese, there's a chance we could see the Chiefs make a bold move up to bolster their pass rush off the edge. This trade makes a ton of sense for the Cardinals, who get a future pick as well as a shot late in round 1 to get the QB they like in this class.

4. Tennessee Titans: Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame

There might not be a better player in this entire draft than Jeremiyah Love. And as of right now, it almost feels too easy to put him in the Titans' slot here at 4 overall, but it does make sense for them. The Titans have a lot of picks, they have a quarterback in place, and they have an offensive coordinator (Brian Daboll) who is going to put him in a great position to succeed right away.

5. New York Giants: Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State

We went back and forth on the Giants' pick about a hundred times before ultimately settling back on Caleb Downs. And then the Dexter Lawrence trade happened, which could give us a great hint of what the Giants are looking to do within the top 10 picks. We initially had Caleb Downs in this slot, but the Giants gave themselves a chance to have their cake and eat it, too after trading Lawrence to Cincinnati. They make a bold move and take Tyson off the board earlier than anyone could have possibly expected.

6. Dallas Cowboys (from Browns): Rueben Bain, EDGE, Miami

The Cowboys and Browns might have to settle about 100 points of value on the trade value chart with this one, but this is essentially the framework of a very fair deal that would give Dallas a chance to take their top EDGE player on the board. The Cowboys have long been rumored to be interested in trading up for Sonny Styles, but what if that's all smoke in mirrors? Maybe it's not but either Rueben Bain or Sonny Styles wold be fantastic picks for Dallas here, while Cleveland gets to make three picks in Round 1.

7. Washington Commanders: Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State

Veteran Bobby Wagner is gone, and Dan Quinn probably needs to start looking at longer-term solutions anyway. Sonny Styles is a big-time athlete and defensive weapon whose range and athletic traits make him a perfect fit for Quinn. He'd be an outstanding value here for the Commanders, who should be looking to trade down to rack up some more picks in this draft.

8. New Orleans Saints: Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State

We initially had the Saints using this pick on Jordyn Tyson, making him the first receiver off the board. But the trade involving Dexter Lawrence threw a wrench in a good amount of this mock draft, setting in motion the butterfly effect. And here the Saints get Carnell Tate instead, and not a bad consolation prize if you even want to think of it that way. Tate would make a huge impact for young QB Tyler Shough.

9. Arizona Cardinals (from Chiefs): Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami

Many mock draft scenarios have the Cardinals taking Mauigoa at pick #3 overall, so getting him at #9 while also having another pick later on in the 1st round would have them dancing around their war room. Mauigoa fills an immediate need at right tackle as the Cardinals start to rebuild the foundation of what will undoubtedly be a multi-year project.

10. New York Giants (from Bengals): Caleb Downs, SAF, Ohio State

After the trade sending Dexter Lawrence to Cincinnati, the Giants now have multiple picks in the top 10 and will dominate the storylines early on in the 1st round. If they only had one pick, it might feel way too risky spending it on Jordyn Tyson. But the Giants get arguably the polar opposite in terms of the perceived risk surrounding Caleb Downs. Unlike Tyson, he's considered one of the safest players in this draft, and could contend for Defensive Rookie of the Year.

11. Miami Dolphins: Spencer Fano, OL, Utah

There have been a lot of really fun scenarios thrown out about how the Dolphins could best utilize this top pick after all the moves they've made this offseason, but whoever compared Spencer Fano to Elgton Jenkins might have won the player comp-team fit game this offseason. The Dolphins are being run by a couple of former Packers guys in GM Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley, and you can absolutely see them viewing Fano as a Jenkins type, with the versatility to play guard, tackle, or even center if needed.

12. Cleveland Browns (from Cowboys): Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia

The Browns taking Monroe Freeling has made sense for a really long time, even if they stick at pick #6 overall. They have been doing a ton of reloading and rebuilding on that offensive line this offseason, but Freeling coming from that Georgia program will undoubtedly endear him to head coach Todd Monken. The Browns keep loading up in the trenches, and it might just raise the floor of that team this season.

13. Los Angeles Rams (from Falcons): Makai Lemon, WR, USC

We have yet another wide receiver coming off the board here in the top 15 picks overall with the Rams taking Makai Lemon from their own backyard. Lemon has drawn some pre-draft comparisons to Amon-Ra St. Brown, and you have to think that his playing style and toughness as a smaller receiver prospect will endear him to Sean McVay. There are questions with the Rams' receiver depth right now and the long-term future of both Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.

14. Baltimore Ravens: Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon

The Baltimore Ravens gave Mark Andrews a big-money contract, but we know how much they love to use multiple tight ends. With Isaiah Likely off to the New York Giants, and Charlie Kolar off to the Chargers, the Ravens need to reload at the tight end position. And the best one in this draft is Kenyon Sadiq, who can pair with Andrews for the time being and take over as TE1 when the time is right.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU

The Buccaneers can't believe it, but the top cornerback in this draft class just fell into their laps. They really can't pass on this scenario, and this might even be the best-case scenario of them all. Most of the time, we're looking at which pass rusher is the best option here for the Bucs, but getting Mansoor Delane to come in as an immediate starter in the secondary would be fantastic.

16. New York Jets (from Colts): Keldric Faulk, DL/EDGE, Auburn

The earlier run on wide receivers than expected could force the Jets to pivot their first-round strategy slightly. Some would suggest just throwing Omar Cooper Jr. in here, and maybe the Jets will, but the more you can upgrade in the trenches, the more you can raise the entire floor of your team. Keldric Faulk is big, long, athletic, and can play multiple positions on the defensive front as the Jets try to load up on that side of the ball.

17. Detroit Lions: Kadyn Proctor, OT, Alabama

The Detroit Lions cut Taylor Decker this offseason, and are moving Penei Sewell to the left tackle position. That still leaves a gaping hole at the right tackle position, and Kadyn Proctor could be the ideal pick for this team in the 1st round. Proctor is big, athletic, and has the upside to end up being the best lineman in this entire class. The Lions have done a great job of developing talent up front, so this would be a phenomenal situation for Proctor to land in.

18. Minnesota Vikings: Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, SAF, Toledo

The Vikings have long been rumored to take a safety here in the 1st round, so watch them go a completely different direction. I'm still sticking with the idea that a safety makes the most sense here, whether it's McNeil-Warren, Dillon Thieneman, or even Caleb Downs if he somehow falls. McNeil-Warren has the type of traits to really thrive in Brian Flores's defensive scheme.

19. Carolina Panthers: Dillon Thieneman, SAF, Oregon

The Panthers have a number of fun directions they could go with this pick, depending on who's available, but if one of the top three safeties is still sitting on the board, it would be very tempting. Dillon Thieneman raised his stock as much as anyone when he showed off his athleticism and speed at the Scouting Combine, and when you combine that along with his positional flexibility in the secondary, you have someone who can help keep that Panthers defense on an upward trajectory.

20. Cleveland Browns (from Cowboys): Denzel Boston, WR, Washington

The Browns desperately need to upgrade the receiver position this offseason, and Denzel Boston is a fun fit for them. With his catch radius and strong hands, he'd be a go-to threat for whoever ends up playing quarterback there this coming season. He might even do enough as a rookie to help re-ignite what Jerry Jeudy had going in the 2024 season before falling off a cliff in 2025.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers: Olaivavega Ioane, OL, Penn State

One way to help get Aaron Rodgers on board with returning this season (assuming the Steelers haven't fully convinced him) is to keep upgrading the offensive line. Isaac Seumalo left for the Arizona Cardinals in free agency this offseason, so the Steelers going local for his replacement would be ideal. Ioane is an immediate starter at left guard.

22. Los Angeles Chargers: Blake Miller, OT, Clemson

The Chargers brought in Mike McDaniel to run the offense this offseason, so the running game is going to be a priority. The tackle position needs to be addressed with Rashawn slater and Joe Alt both coming off of injuries, and Blake Miller has played a ton of football. He could either slide in at right guard, or the Chargers can figure out whatever way they want to get the best five on the field.

23. Philadelphia Eagles: Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona State

The Eagles would probably love to have Kadyn Proctor or Blake Miller in an ideal world, so maybe they'll trade up for one of those guys. Max Iheanachor is another great option at right tackle in this class who is still newer to football compared to some of his other 1st-round peers. There might be more of a learning curve, but he can be the heir apparent to Lane Johnson in Philly.

24. Cleveland Browns (from Jaguars): Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee

I'm not sold yet that Jermod McCoy is going to be coming off the board in the 1st round, but how do you know what rumors to believe at this point and which ones to ignore? McCoy worked out well for teams in the pre-draft process, but the knee injury provides some significant risk in taking him this high. Still, he could be the best corner in this class, and might be worth the risk for the Browns as they get younger at this position.

25. Chicago Bears: Akheem Mesidor, EDGE, Miami

This draft is shaping up to be a little bit of a rough one for the Bears, who might look into trading some picks for proven veterans like Dexter Lawrence and Kayvon Thibodeaux. Somebody. Akheem Mesidor looks like he's going to be able to make an impact at the NFL level, but at 25 years old, he's going to be one of the oldest rookies in the NFL. Does that deter teams from taking him in the 1st?

26. Buffalo Bills: Chase Bisontis, OG, Texas A&M

The Bills have dominated the past couple of seasons in the running game, and even after losing David Andrews in free agency, they have to make sure nothing about that part of their offensive identity changes. They already landed DJ Moore in a trade with the Bears this offseason, so going with a big man here in the 1st round could make a ton of sense.

27. San Francisco 49ers: Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah

We've been on this pick for some time, and we're sticking with it. The 49ers need to make sure they have all their ducks in a row for whenever the day inevitably comes that Trent Williams decides he's done playing. The time to get his replacement on the roster is now, especially with as many offensive line prospects as we could see flying off the board in the first round.

28. Houston Texans: Emmanuel Pregnon, OG, Oregon

Emmanuel Pregnon is the 10th offensive lineman off the board in the first round of this mock draft. As many have speculated, you can throw positional value out the window, and the Texans have multiple picks to work with in the next 10 (28 and 38 overall). Like some other prospects, Pregnon is going to be older as a rookie, but he was a stonewall for Oregon in pass protection and is NFL-ready as a starting guard.

29. Arizona Cardinals (from Chiefs): Ty Simpson, QB, Alabama

After the trade down with the Chiefs, the Cardinals get their guy here in Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson. Picking him in the later portion of the 1st round, the risk is much lower, and they could move on in next year's class if they want to, but Simpson is a great fit for Mike LaFleur's scheme. I'm just not sold on the idea that he's a great fit for the Cardinals' current situation. But the most important factors at the NFL level are scheme fit and belief from a coaching staff.

30. Miami Dolphins (from Broncos): KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M

The Dolphins acquired this pick from the Denver Broncos in the Jaylen Waddle trade, so why not use it on another playmaker for the offense? If Miami truly wants to see Malik Willis have some success, they are going to need to surround him with some guys who can get open quickly. There are few better at doing exactly that in this class than KC Concepcion.

31. New England Patriots: Omar Cooper Jr., WR, Indiana

Opinions about Omar Cooper Jr. are all over the map. There are some people who don't think he's getting past the Jets at 16, and others who feel like he could be slipping near the 2nd round. I wouldn't mind seeing the Patriots trade this pick to the Raiders to let Cooper play in the NFL with Fernando Mendoza, and they can use the picks to fortify other positions while trading for AJ Brown after June 1.

32. Seattle Seahawks: Chris Johnson, CB, San Diego State

Chris Johnson might be one of the best-kept secrets in this year's draft class. And if he falls to the 32nd overall pick, the Seahawks would have to be giddy about it. Johnson has great size, athleticism, ball skills, and will help the Seahawks replace the departed Riq Woolen at the outside cornerback position immediately.

54. Philadelphia Eagles: De’Zhaun Stribling, WR, Ole Miss
55. Los Angeles Chargers: Keyron Crawford, EDGE, Auburn
56. Jacksonville Jaguars: Gennings Dunker, OL, Iowa
57. Chicago Bears: AJ Haulcy, SAF, LSU
58. San Francisco 49ers: Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama
59. Houston Texans: Mike Washington Jr., RB, Arkansas
60. Chicago Bears (from Bills): Caleb Banks, DL, Florida
61. Los Angeles Rams: Treydan Stukes, CB, Arizona
62. Denver Broncos: Max Klare, TE, Ohio State
63. New England Patriots: Caleb Tiernan, OT, Northwestern
64. Seattle Seahawks: Derrick Moore, EDGE, Michigan

We've got the Colts, Falcons, Jaguars, and Broncos each making their 1st picks of this mock draft, so let's talk about those ones.

The Colts have been rumored to be potentailly trading away Kenny Moore II, who has been elite for them in the slot. There might not be a more fitting defensive back than Keionte Scott to replace him, assuming D'Angelo Ponds is off the board.

The Falcons need some help on the interior defensive line, and just traded for a pass rushing type in Maason Smith with the Jaguars. They get a true run-stuffing stud here in Lee Hunter, who will come in and be part of the rotation right away.

The Jaguars have quite a few picks on Day 2, so they could go a number of directions with this top selection. I didn't hate the idea of a linebacker for them, but Gennings Dunker can start at either right tackle or guard at the next level and upgrade their top 5.

The Broncos need a tight end with pass-catching upside for the future. Evan Engram is a free agent after this season, and the Broncos' tight ends were among the worst in the NFL last season in terms of receptions, yards, and touchdowns. Klare has that type of upside they need at the "F" position.

2026 NFL Mock Draft: Full 3rd-round predictions

65. Arizona Cardinals: Tyler Onyedim, DL, Texas A&M
66. Tennessee Titans: Jake Golday, LB, Cincinnati
67. Las Vegas Raiders: Elijah Sarratt, WR, Indiana
68. Philadelphia Eagles (from Jets): Romello Height, EDGE, Texas Tech
69. Houston Texans (from Giants): Domonique Orange, DL, Iowa State
70. Cleveland Browns: Kyle Louis, LB/SAF, Pittsburgh
71. Washington Commanders: Antonio Williams, WR, Clemson
72. Cincinnati Bengals: Travis Burke, OT, Memphis

94. Miami Dolphins (from Broncos): Jalen Farmer, OL, Kentucky
95. New England Patriots: Oscar Delp, TE, Georgia
96. Seattle Seahawks: Jonah Coleman, RB, Washington
97. Minnesota Vikings: Zachariah Branch, WR, Georgia
98. Philadelphia Eagles: Jalon Kilgore, SAF, South Carolina
99. Pittsburgh Steelers: Chandler Rivers, CB, Duke
100. Jacksonville Jaguars: Justin Joly, TE, North Carolina State

The Raiders reunite Fernando Mendoza with one of his most trusted targets in Elijah Sarratt, who might not be a game-changer at the next level, but looks like a reliable "X" receiver in the right situation.

The Browns take one of the most interesting defensive prospects in this class in Kyle Louis, who has drawn some comparisons to Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah.

The Buccaneers' loss of Mike Evans has been one of the most underrated departures of the offseason, so they go after Notre Dame's Malachi Fields to get that big outside weapon back in the fold.

The Seahawks take Jonah Coleman here and land one of the draft's biggest potential steals at running back. With Kenneth Walker gone and Zach Charbonnet on the mend, the Seahawks might even have to go after running back help earlier than this.
