It's really anyones guess as to what will happen in the 2026 NFL Season, but that isn't a bad thing. If the pattern from 2025 remains in 2026, we'll see two non-playoff teams from this past season in the Super Bowl this year. The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks were both out of the playoffs in 2024, yet represented each conference in the Super Bowl.
That was something that many only a very small chunk of the NFL landscape saw coming, but it also does paint a picture of just how beautiful the NFL is. The 2026 season also isn't as far away as you might think, as training camps are right around the corner, so teams will soon begin to ramp things up ahead of camp, which leads us to the preseason action in August.
Soon enough, we'll be just two months away from the regular season beginning in September. With all of that said, let's try to predict every single team we believe will win at least 10 games in the 2026 season.
Predicting each team that wins double-digit games for the 2026 NFL Season
Los Angeles Chargers: 10-7
The Los Angeles Chargers have gone 11-6 in both years of the Jim Harbaugh era, but that's really it. The team has gotten throttled in the Wild Card Round both years, as quarterback Justin Herbert now owns an 0-3 playoff record with three forgettable performances.
The Chargers have stability at quarterback and head coach, though, so this isn't one of those teams that'll just forget how to play football. The roster is solid, but it's not special, and the same could be said about the QB and HC as well.
I would be shocked if the Chargers struggled much this year. Sure, winning 10 games is not a ton, but in terms of at least being a solid, competent franchise, the Chargers have earned that benefit of the doubt heading into 2026.
Cincinnati Bengals 10-7
The Cincinnati Bengals invested a ton of money on the defensive side of the ball this offseason in a clear effort to snap this shocking three-year playoff drought streak. We have seen the Bengals go deep in the playoffs when they get there, but that's the problem.
In the six years of the Joe Burrow era, Cincy has been in the playoffs just two times, and you could sense the front office urgency this offseason. The defensive shift this team made is a clear indicator that it's 'playoffs or bust' for this franchise, but whether it be overall incompetence or slow starts, the team just has not found much consistency.
While the roster is a lot better than what you would expect from a team that wins 10 games, I am not sure there is enough proof out there that Cincy can simply go through this season and take care of business. A 10-7 record would be enough to get them into the postseason, but they'd have to settle for a Wild Card Seed and would have an uphill battle to get into the playoffs.
Jacksonville Jaguars: 10-7
The Jacksonville Jaguars come in with a 10-7 record prediction for the 2026 season. I keep coming back to this team losing Travis Etienne and Devin Lloyd in free agency, as you could argue that each player was the best on their side of the ball for the team in 2025.
Jacksonville also shocked the NFL world a bit in 2025, winning 13 games when many hadn't thought this team could get close to that number. There is now an entire year's worth of film out on the team, so the entire coaching staff may have to adjust, leading to a slight regression but what would still be a solid season overall.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 10-7
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won eight games in the 2025 season, but the Carolina Panthers, the team that won the NFC South, also won eight games. The south appears to be wide open for the 2026 season, and the Buccaneers have had no issues winning the division in years prior.
This does lead me to believe that 2025 could have simply been an outlier year, as the team did struggle with bad coaching and mounting injuries. The Bucs may regress back to the mean, getting more consistent play from their offense, and have a ho-hum 10-win season, which would be enough to win the division.
Dallas Cowboys: 10-7
The Dallas Cowboys did a lot of great work on the defensive side of the ball this offseason, totally revamping the unit in a major change. The team did also win 7 games last year, so we can't pretend that this group was among the worst in the NFL - they were not.
Even if the defense is average, Dallas' top-7 offense, coupled with a competent defense, would be enough for double-digit wins.
Philadelphia Eagles: 10-7
Losing AJ Brown is going to hurt the Philadelphia Eagles offense in 2026, and having yet another new offensive coordinator also adds more uncertainty to the mix. I do believe the Eagles have enough to win at least 10 games for the fifth year in a row, but I just do not believe they made any sort of Super Bowl-caliber move this offseason.
It should be a fine year for the Eagles.
Washington Commanders: 10-7
Washington won 12 games in the 2024 season, getting within one game of the Super Bowl. The team then won just 5 games in 2025 in a massive regression. They'll finish, roughly, in the middle of those two seasons in 2026, as they added a ton of talent in free agency and simply got better players in the building.
Chicago Bears: 10-7
The Chicago Bears won the NFC North with a strong 11-6 record during 2025, but outside of the turnovers, the Ryan Poles-assembled defense struggled to consistently stop the run and the pass, actually.
Chicago needs to ease up on the turnovers and focus on being more efficient on a down-to-down basis. If that happens, the Bears should build on their 11-6 season. However, with how loaded the division is, and the entire NFL having a year worth of film out on the new Bears, Chicago could struggle to get back to that 11-win mark from 2025.
Baltimore Ravens: 11-6
Baltimore is usually among the best teams in the NFL, but this group dealt with a ton of injuries last year, starting 1-5 and being unable to dig out of that rut. The defense has also not played quite as good as they can, so bringing in Jesse Minter was a wise move.
Minter should be able to revamp that defense an have those guys playing well, and with how explosive the offensive duo of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry can be, it's not a stretch to think that the Ravens can get back to their winning ways.
Green Bay Packers: 11-6
I really think the Green Bay Packers are a solid football team, but that's about it. Everything is just good, and it is not clear when Micah Parsons will be healthy after his 2025 season-ending knee injury. The Packers are good enough to win more than 10 games, which they have done before in recent years, but I keep coming back to this operation just not having many Super Bowl qualities.
Houston Texans: 12-5
The Houston Texans added two new starters to the offensive line this offseason, and also swung a trade for David Montgomery. On paper, this is a top-5 team in football, and even with an 0-3 start in 2025, Houston found a way to win 12 games.
They'll again win 12 games, but they won't endure an 0-3 start and will instead have a much more consistent season.
Denver Broncos: 12-5
The Denver Broncos won 11 games in a row at one point during 2025, and those are streaks you just do not see in the NFL. I do believe there is a chance that the Broncos are largely a better team, or the same as they were in 2025, but also win a couple less games. Given how many one-score games the team won in 2025, a very slight regression could come, but it could still lead to Denver being among the winningest teams in the league.
Buffalo Bills: 12-5
The Buffalo Bills made a bold move this offseason to replace Sean McDermott with Joe Brady, and, who knows, this could be the one move the team was missing to go on a Super Bowl run. Buffalo has suffered a series of playoff heartbreaks over the years, but they obviously were not going to go out and replace Josh Allen, their star quarterback.
Brady does have some urgent shoes to fill, but Buffalo has won double-digit games each year since 2019, so it would be a massive shock if they failed to reach that unofficial milestone in the 2026 season, right?
Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks could be in for a very small regression in 2026, as they lost their starting running back in Kenneth Walker III, and also saw Riq Woolen walk out the door. Furthermore, the Super Bowl hangover is a thing, so it's really not unheard of for a team to win fewer games the year after winning it all.
Seattle will still be a very good team, but they'll see a dip in their win totals.
San Francisco 49ers: 12-5
Going 12-5 last year, the San Francisco 49ers have another 12-win season staring them in the face in 2026. The coaching staff, led by Kyle Shanahan, is elite, and this team simply knows how to win football games, even when being faced with a ton of injuries.
That was the case last year, so the 49ers are probably just hoping for slightly better health. They have made the Super Bowl two times in the Shanahan era.
Los Angeles Rams: 12-5
Maybe a lower win total than you were expecting, the Los Angeles Rams win 12 games in our latest predictions, but that would be enough to capture the NFC West title in our own record predictions.
The Rams added Myles Garrett in a trade, and it could soon go down as one of the best trades in NFL history. The defense was already in a solid spot overall, but now, coupled with the high-powered offense, it creates what could be the most complete team in football.
Detroit Lions: 13-4
The Detroit Lions are just one year removed from going 15-2 in 2024, and they do have many of the same players. The Lions won 27 regular season games in the 2023 and 2024 seasons, as this roster is among the very best in the league, and I really believe the Lions are set to see the defense regress back to the mean a bit.
The Lions were 7-4 at one point in 2025, so let's not pretend like this 9-8 season necessarily felt like it, if that made sense. Expect Detroit to get back on track in 2026.
