There have been plenty of highly anticipated NFL Draft classes and prospects in recent history, but perhaps none more so than the upcoming 2027 NFL Draft class.

We saw six quarterbacks selected in the first 12 picks of the 2024 NFL Draft. We've seen quarterbacks come off the board with the top three picks overall as recently as 2021. The class of 2018 included all of Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, and Lamar Jackson in the first round.

There are plenty of lofty classes to look up to, but none has the league frantically making plans for the future quite like this incoming class. Here in the middle of the offseason, we're going to take a fresh look at the hypothetical future, making our latest 2027 NFL mock draft predictions for next year's first round.

Where will this year's star-studded class be playing on Sundays? (Note: This order is the reverse of Lou Scataglia's latest league-wide NFL Power Rankings)

2027 NFL Mock Draft: Arch Manning lands with Cardinals in all-new 1st-round predictions

1. Arizona Cardinals: Arch Manning, QB, Texas

The Arizona Cardinals will get a look this season at Carson Beck (in all likelihood), but anything in the realm of a Tyler Shough-like breakthrough for Beck would be a stunner. In this scenario, the Cardinals get the second-coming of the Manning-Harrison duo which once dominated with the Indianapolis Colts.

Arch Manning is a bit of a contested prospect, to say the least, but he's an elite talent in every regard at the quarterback position.

2. Cleveland Browns: Dante Moore, QB, Oregon

The Cleveland Browns will get one last look this year at Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders before ultimately making another long-term decision at the quarterback position. This is a team that hasn't been simply living in quarterback purgatory for the past 25-plus years -- they've been in quarterback hell.

Especially after trading Myles Garrett, it appears as though the Browns are banking on the chance to take their next franchise signal caller in 2027.

3. Miami Dolphins: Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State

The Miami Dolphins would definitely be in the quarterback market with this selection, but there will be some major questions around the NFL about whether or not Jeremiah Smith is truly the most valuable player in this entire draft class. Even though the Dolphins need a quarterback, they will have to determine whether or not the third-best QB on their board is worth passing on Jeremiah Smith.

And he might be, but not at this stage of the process.

4. Las Vegas Raiders: Dylan Stewart, EDGE, South Carolina

The Las Vegas Raiders addressed their primary need in the 2026 NFL Draft by taking Fernando Mendoza with the #1 overall pick. But people might be underestimating just how far away this team is in terms of their overall roster. There is a reason why they were trying to get as much as they could for Maxx Crosby, and why they still might.

The entire defensive front may need to be revamped, and getting South Carolina's explosive Dylan Stewart would be a fantastic start.

5. New York Jets: Leonard Moore, CB, Notre Dame

The Jets are another team that is going to have to determine whether or not the third-best quarterback on their board is better than a truly blue-chip prospect like Leonard Moore at this juncture. Moore isn't getting enough recognition, even though he's an early lock to go somewhere in the top 10 picks overall.

He's got the size, athletic traits, and ball skills to be a lockdown CB1 at the next level.

6. New York Giants: Cam Coleman, WR, Texas

The New York Giants were said to be in the market for Jordyn Tyson as high as the 5th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. They ultimately couldn't pass on Arvell Reese in that slot, which may have changed their plans completely. They will have a shot at another elite receiver if this scenario presents itself. Cam Coleman has WR1 traits, and would be in most draft classes. But most draft classes don't include a playmaker as good as Jeremiah Smith.

He's in a really great situation this year, transferring over from Auburn to Texas to be Arch Manning's new #1 target.

7. Tennessee Titans: Colin Simmons, EDGE, Texas

I was almost positive the Titans were going to take a pass rusher with their top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, and then they surprised just about everybody by taking Carnell Tate. You can't blame them for going after help for Cam Ward in the weapons department.

Still, the need off the edge remains. Even if things go well for Jermaine Johnson in a reunion year with Robert Saleh, the Titans wouldn't be able to pass on a playmaker off the edge like Colin Simmons. And in this scenario, he'd be able to reunite with his old pal Anthony Hill Jr.

8. Atlanta Falcons: Drew Mestemaker, QB, Oklahoma State

If the Atlanta Falcons -- who have been handing out money left and right to their offensive weapons -- finish with one of the 8 worst records in the NFL, wholesale changes may be coming at the quarterback position. This is an audition year for both Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Penix Jr. under new head coach Kevin Stefanski, and if they fail to this degree, a new QB is going to be brought in.

The Falcons might have too much pressure going into 2027 to take a rookie, but Drew Mestemaker is a fascinating prospect. Everyone is eager to see how well he plays transferring to Oklahoma State from North Texas.

9. New Orleans Saints: Ellis Robinson IV, CB, Georgia

After revamping their offense significantly in the last couple of offseasons, the New Orleans Saints shift their attention to the secondary. The Saints lost Alontae Taylor this past offseason and have had quite a bit of turnover at the cornerback position over the past couple of years. A stud like Ellis Robinson IV on the outside along with Kool-Aid McKinstry could give that defensive backfield an enviable young duo.

Ellis Robinson had a huge year last year for Georgia, picking off four passes and showing his elite ball skills.

10. Pittsburgh Steelers: Julian Sayin, QB, Ohio State

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be ushering in a new era at the quarterback position next year, assuming Aaron Rodgers was telling the truth about retiring after this season. And we have no reason not to believe him. The Steelers will be doing extensive work scouting the quarterback position this coming season, and Julian Sayin has as good of a chance as anyone right now to land in this slot.

The Steelers have put together a quality-enough roster offensively for a young quarterback like Sayin to thrive.

11. New York Jets (from Colts): Darian Mensah, QB, Miami

The New York Jets took a gamble earlier in this mock draft, going with the elite prospect at cornerback and sort of "settling" at the quarterback position. But this is Darren Mougey taking a page out of the Denver Broncos' playbook when they took Bo Nix in his final draft class with the team, being patient, and waiting for the right fit for your team.

Darian Mensah is getting a shot to show what he can do this season, transferring from Duke to Miami. He has just 12 interceptions compared to 56 touchdowns over the last two seasons despite throwing nearly 800 passes.

12. Washington Commanders: Ryan Coleman-Williams, WR, Alabama

Say what you will about Brandon Aiyuk's campaigning to play for the Commanders on social media, but he's right about one thing: The Commanders need help at the wide receiver position. They managed to get Antonio Williams out of Clemson in the 3rd round of the 2026 NFL Draft, but they still need playmakers to go along with Terry McLaurin. And honestly, it won't be long until McLaurin is no longer that kind of factor.

Ryan Coleman-Williams was once considered right up there with Jeremiah Smith as a prospect. After a down year in 2025, I think we'll see him bounce back this year and get back into the top 10-15 mix.

13. Minnesota Vikings: Jordan Seaton, OT, LSU

You could see the Vikings going a number of different directions here. Maybe they like a quarterback prospect enough to take him with this pick slot. If they finish with this bad of a record, that idea has to be at least somewhat in play. But they also have needs at all three levels of the defense.

Ultimately, they go with the best player on the board in Jordan Seaton. You have to take a potential blue-chip tackle prospect when you get the chance. With Brian O'Neill hitting the age of 31 this season, and the left tackle spot going through major injury issues, this will have to be a consideration.

14. New York Jets (from Cowboys): David Stone, DL, Oklahoma

As much as we love the trade to acquire T'Vondre Sweat, the Jets need another potential disruptor in the pass rush department after trading Quinnen Williams to the Cowboys. So, with the pick they are getting in return, they go after one.

David Stone has shown his elite pass rush abilities at Oklahoma, and was a menace last season against the run with 8 tackles for loss.

15. Carolina Panthers: A'Mauri Washington, DL, Oregon

There is a reason why the Carolina Panthers were willing to shell out huge cash to Milton Williams in free agency last year. Even with Derrick Brown on the roster, they realize they need more help on the interior defensive line.

A'Mauri Washington might have been a lock for the top 20 picks overall in this past draft had he declared, but he has a real shot to make some money this coming season at Oregon. He's an extremely disruptive force in a variety of ways, especially batting passes at the line of scrimmage. He had 8 of those last season.

16. Kansas City Chiefs: Trevor Goosby, OT, Texas

Even though the Kansas City Chiefs have four positions on their offensive line penciled in for the coming season, they still have a couple of major question marks. The right tackle position is being manned by Jaylon Moore, who hasn't exactly played at a starter level over the past couple of seasons.

Last year's 1st-round pick -- Josh Simmons -- had mysterious off-field issues last year, and showed up at OTAs at just 285 pounds.

Offensive tackle help could be the Chiefs' #1 priority in the 2027 offseason.

17. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Ahmad Moten, DL, Miami

The Buccaneers stole a couple of Miami Hurricanes prospects in last year's draft (Rueben Bain, Keionte Scott), and perhaps they can get another in the 1st round of the 2027 NFL Draft.

Ahmad Moten had 9 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks last season on Miami's stellar defensive front, and he'll have an even better chance to stand out this year with top picks like Bain and Akheem Mesidor now off to the NFL.

18. Philadelphia Eagles: Cayden Green, OL, Missouri

The Philadelphia Eagles know that they might be in need of a couple starting options on the offensive line as early as 2027. The right tackle position has been locked down by Lane Johnson for what feels like two decades at this point. Right guard Tyler Steen is set to hit free agency after this season. We'll see what happens with Landon Dickerson.

The bottom line is that it's in Howie Roseman's DNA to always have top-tier options on the offensive line available, and if Cayden Green is on the board when the Eagles are on the clock, his roster situation might make the decision rather easy.

19. Baltimore Ravens: Jamari Johnson, TE, Oregon

Even though the Baltimore Ravens gave a big-money deal to Mark Andrews, and selected a couple of tight ends on Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft, they could still go after a talent like Jamari Johnson with their top pick next year.

It felt like there was a chance they could take Kenyon Sadiq even in the days leading up to the 2027 Draft, so here, they get his replacement on the Ducks. And even though TE is not a position to spend premium NFL Draft capital on, Jamari Johnson could be an exception, especially in Baltimore's offense which lives out of 12 personnel.

20. Los Angeles Chargers: Omarion Miller, WR, Arizona State

The wide receiver position remains an area of concern for the Los Angeles Chargers despite all of the draft capital they've thrown at it in recent years. They've got a former first-round pick in Quentin Johnston, a couple of former second-round picks in Ladd McConkey and Tre Harris, and they love newcomer Brenen Thompson.

We'll see how this season goes, but another big-play threat at the receiver position should be on the menu for the Chargers in next year's draft. After it worked so successfully for Jordyn Tyson, Omarion Miller is giving the idea of transferring from Colorado to Arizona State a try.

21. Dallas Cowboys (from Packers): Zabien Brown, CB, Alabama

With DaRon Bland on the mend this offseason, the Dallas Cowboys' cornerback position evaluation is being put under a bit of a microscope.

Nobody knows whether or not players like Caelen Carson or Shavon Revel will emerge for the Cowboys this year, but with as much turnover as they've had at this position, it has to be a consideration for the 1st round. The Cowboys love twitchy, athletic prospects, and Zabien Brown's athleticism pops on the field.

He's had five interceptions over the last two seasons, and he took both of his interceptions back last season for touchdowns.

22. Chicago Bears: Matayo Uiagalelei, EDGE, Oregon

The Chicago Bears should still be in the market for pass rushers on the trade market this offseason, because Montez Sweat is going to need some help. At this point, their need for pass rush help in the 2027 NFL Draft is basically being telegraphed.

Chicago's defense lived and died last year by takeaways, and that's going to be tough to duplicate with so much new personnel in the secondary. They need impact pass rushers like Matayo Uiagalelei to come off the edge and give them every-down disruption.

23. Cincinnati Bengals: KJ Bolden, SAF, Georgia

After spending so many resources over the last two offseasons trying to upgrade their defensive front, the Bengals shift their attention to the defensive backfield.

KJ Bolden is the latest in a long line of impact defensive backs in the Georgia secondary who have a lot of the traits NFL defensive coordinators covet these days: He's instinctive, he has a quick trigger, he's physical, and he's got great ball skills.

Bolden going in the 1st round gives the Georgia secondary a pair of truly elite prospects NFL teams will be after.

24. Detroit Lions: Quincy Rhodes Jr., EDGE, Arkansas

We'll see how the Detroit Lions' investment in Derrick Moore goes off the edge this coming season. They need someone to really step up opposite Aidan Hutchinson, who is one of the premiere pass rushers in the entire NFL. If Moore can prove himself early on, the Lions can shift their attention elsewhere. And with off-the-field circumstances becoming a major factor, the cornerback position could be in play here.

But Quincy Rhodes had too great of a year last year with 15.5 tackles for loss and 8 sacks to slip any further than this. He's on a top-25 trajectory entering this coming season.

25. Jacksonville Jaguars: Brauntae Johnson, SAF, Notre Dame

In just his first year as a starter Tae Johnson had four interceptions for a Notre Dame defense that might have a handful of prospects jockeying for position in the top 32 overall picks next Spring. The Jacksonville Jaguars had a relatively quiet offseason in 2026, opting for more in-house progression than outside additions.

One of their key losses in the secondary was safety prospect Andrew Wingard, who played the 2nd-most snaps of any defender on their roster last season. That's going to be a huge loss they'll need to monitor this coming season, and potentially replace very early in next year's draft.

26. San Francisco 49ers: Trevor Lauck, OT, Iowa

The San Francisco 49ers, at some point in the near future, are going to have to deal with life after Trent Williams. Although Williams has become an ageless wonder, of sorts, he won't literally play forever.

There isn't anyone on the roster right now who is really giving "heir apparent" vibes, but someone like Trevor Lauck could absolutely come in and start right away for Kyle Shanahan. If there is one certainty in the NFL Draft each year, it's that Kirk Ferentz's Iowa Hawkeyes programs will crank out quality NFL talent. Lauck might be his best tackle prospect to come along since Tristan Wirfs in 2020.

27. Houston Texans: Kewan Lacy, RB, Ole Miss

The Houston Texans are one of the most loaded teams in the NFL, and therefore, they can afford the luxury of taking running backs in the 1st round.

Kewan Lacy is one of a number of running backs that could potentially sneak into the 1st round of this year's draft, and he's also one of the youngest. He got the ball over 300 times last year at Ole Miss, and added 29 receptions on top of it, so he can play all three downs.

After the Texans traded for David Montgomery in 2026, perhaps Lacy could be their version of Jahmyr Gibbs to pair up with him.

28. Buffalo Bills: Damon Wilson Jr., EDGE, Miami

One of the most interesting transfer prospects in the country this year is going to be Damon Wilson Jr., who is taking the 9 sacks he racked up last year at Missouri and bringing them over to Miami. With those Miami pass rushers getting tutoring and coaching from Jason Taylor, it feels like the sky is the limit for them.

We saw how well it worked out for Rueben Bain and Akheem Mesidor this past year, who overcame incredible odds (arm length, age) to still be coveted 1st-round picks.

Wilson is going to be the next in line for that pass rush unit with the Hurricanes, and he has some top-tier talent inside to give him favorable matchups.

29. New England Patriots: Justin Scott, DL, Miami

Back-to-back AFC East selections, back-to-back Miami Hurricanes defensive line prospects. The Hurricanes went from being loaded on the defensive line to being loaded on the defensive line.

Go figure.

The Patriots already have a really strong defensive front, but no team is ever truly solidified on the defensive line. Justin Scott was only getting his feet wet as a starter for Miami last season, and he ended up with 6.5 tackles for loss. He's a former 5-star recruit and his talent has been obvious for quite some time.

30. Seattle Seahawks: Kelley Jones, CB, Mississippi State

After losing some key members of the secondary in the 2026 offseason, the Seattle Seahawks could be looking to reload a little bit in 2027.

They still have plenty of talent in the defensive backfield to compete for another championship in 2026, but a player like Kelley Jones can potentially be an ideal replacement for Riq Woolen, who bolted for the Eagles.

Maybe even a little too on-the-nose given his 6-foot-4 frame. Jones's ball skills shined last season to the tune of 11 passes broken up and a pair of interceptions. He's on everyone's radar going into the season with that kind of length and ability to disrupt at the catch point.

31. Denver Broncos: Sammy Brown, LB, Clemson

If there's one position on their elite defense the Denver Broncos have not been able to truly figure out, it's the linebacker position. The Broncos have been so good in almost every possible way, but the linebacker position has had to sacrifice talent for instincts.

That's not to say players like Alex Singleton and Justin Strnad are devoid of talent, but the Broncos haven't found the perfect blend of both things in Vance Joseph's defense. Someone like Sammy Brown from Clemson could change the narrative.

Over his first two seasons at Clemson, he's got 186 total tackles, 25 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, and 8 passes broken up.

32. Cleveland Browns (from Rams): Kade Pieper, OL, Iowa

The Browns spent a ton of resources in the 2026 offseason revamping their offensive line. The one position that, up to this point, has been unchanged from last season, is the right guard spot manned by Teven Jenkins.

And we'll see if he can hold onto that spot through this season.

If not, there are a ton of interesting offensive line prospects available in the 2027 NFL Draft, including arguably the best of them all: Iowa's Kade Pieper. He's a plug-and-play starter at the next level. Just don't tell anyone he's the first piece of the Myles Garrett trade return.
